Isaïe 35
1 Le désert et le lieu aride se réjouiront, et le lieu solitaire s'égayera, et fleurira comme une rose.
The forsakun Judee and with outen weie schal be glad, and wildirnesse schal make ful out ioye, and schal floure as a lilie.
2 Il fleurira abondamment, et s'égayera, s'égayant même et chantant en triomphe. La gloire du Liban lui est donnée, avec la magnificence de Carmel et de Saron, ils verront la gloire de l'Eternel, et la magnificence de notre Dieu.
It buriownynge schal buriowne, and it glad and preisynge schal make ful out ioie. The glorie of Liban is youun to it, the fairnesse of Carmele and of Saron; thei schulen se the glorie of the Lord, and the fairnesse of oure God.
3 Renforcez les mains lâches, et fortifiez les genoux tremblants.
Coumforte ye comelid hondis, and make ye strong feble knees.
4 Dites à ceux qui ont le cœur troublé; prenez courage, et ne craignez plus; voici votre Dieu; la vengeance viendra, la rétribution de Dieu; il viendra lui-même, et vous délivrera.
Seie ye, Men of litil coumfort, be ye coumfortid, and nyle ye drede; lo! oure God schal brynge the veniaunce of yeldyng, God hym silf schal come, and schal saue vs.
5 Alors les yeux des aveugles seront ouverts, et les oreilles des sourds seront débouchées.
Thanne the iyen of blynde men schulen be openyd, and the eeris of deef men schulen be opyn.
6 Alors le boiteux sautera comme un cerf, et la langue du muet chantera en triomphe; car des eaux sourdront au désert; et des torrents, au lieu solitaire.
Thanne a crokid man schal skippe as an hert, and the tunge of doumbe men schal be openyd; for whi watris ben brokun out in desert, and stremes in wildirnesse.
7 Et les lieux qui étaient secs, deviendront des étangs, et la terre altérée [deviendra] des sources d'eaux, et dans les repaires des dragons où ils faisaient leur gîte, il y aura un parvis à roseaux et à joncs.
And that that was drie, is maad in to a poond, and the thirsti is maad in to wellis of watris. Grenenesse of rehed, and of spier schal growe in dennes, in whiche dwelliden dragouns bifore. And a path and a weie schal be there,
8 Et il y aura là un sentier et un chemin, qui sera appelé le chemin de sainteté; celui qui est souillé n'y passera point, mais il sera pour ceux-là; celui qui va son chemin, et les fous, ne s'y égareront point.
and it schal be clepid an hooli weie, he that is defoulid schal not passe therbi; and this schal be a streiyt weie to you, so that foolis erre not therbi.
9 Là il n'y aura point de lion, et aucune de ces bêtes qui ravissent les autres, n'y montera point, et ne s'y trouvera point; mais les rachetés y marcheront.
A lioun schal not be there, and an yuel beeste schal not stie therbi, nether schal be foundun there.
10 Ceux donc desquels l'Eternel aura payé la rançon, retourneront, et viendront en Sion avec chant de triomphe, et une joie éternelle sera sur leur tête; ils obtiendront la joie et l'allégresse; la douleur et le gémissement s'enfuiront.
And thei schulen go, that ben delyuered and ayenbouyt of the Lord; and thei schulen be conuertid, and schulen come in to Sion with preisyng; and euerlastynge gladnesse schal be on the heed of hem; thei schulen haue ioie and gladnesse, and sorewe and weilyng schulen fle awei.
