Isaïe 11
1 Mais il sortira un rejeton du tronc d'Isaï, et un surgeon croîtra de ses racines.
And it will go forth a shoot from [the] rootstock of Jesse and a branch from roots his it will bear fruit.
2 Et l'Esprit de l'Eternel reposera sur lui, l'Esprit de sapience et d'intelligence, l'Esprit de conseil et de force, l'Esprit de science et de crainte de l'Eternel.
And it will rest on him [the] spirit of Yahweh a spirit of wisdom and understanding a spirit of counsel and strength a spirit of knowledge and [the] fear of Yahweh.
3 Et il lui fera sentir la crainte de l'Eternel, tellement qu'il ne jugera point sur la vue de ses yeux, et ne reprendra point sur l'ouïe de ses oreilles.
And delighting he [will be] in [the] fear of Yahweh and not to [the] sight of eyes his he will judge and not to [the] hearing of ears his he will decide.
4 Mais il jugera avec justice les chétifs, et il reprendra avec droiture, pour maintenir les débonnaires de la terre, et il frappera la terre par la verge de sa bouche, et fera mourir le méchant par l'esprit de ses lèvres.
And he will judge with righteousness poor [people] and he will decide with uprightness for [the] humble [people] of [the] earth and he will strike [the] earth with [the] rod of mouth his and with [the] breath of lips his he will put to death [the] wicked.
5 Et la justice sera la ceinture de ses reins; et la fidélité, la ceinture de ses flancs.
And it will be righteousness [the] waistband of hips his and faithfulness [the] waistband of loins his.
6 Le loup demeurera avec l'agneau, et le léopard gîtera avec le chevreau; le veau, et le lionceau, et le bétail qu'on engraisse seront ensemble, et un petit enfant les conduira.
And it will sojourn wolf with lamb and leopard with kid it will lie down and calf and young lion and fatling together and a child small [will be] leading them.
7 La jeune vache paîtra avec l'ourse, leurs petits gîteront ensemble, et le lion mangera du fourrage comme le bœuf.
And cow and bear they will graze together they will lie down young their and [the] lion like the ox it will eat straw.
8 Et l'enfant qui tète s'ébattra sur le trou de l'aspic; et l'enfant qu'on sèvre mettra sa main au trou du basilic.
And he will play a suckling-child over [the] hole of a cobra and over [the] nest of a viper a weaned [child] hand his he will put out.
9 On ne nuira et on ne fera aucun dommage [à personne] dans toute la montagne de ma Sainteté; parce que la terre aura été remplie de la connaissance de l'Eternel, comme le fond de la mer des eaux qui le couvrent.
Not they will do harm and not they will destroy in all [the] mountain of holiness my for it will be full the earth knowledge Yahweh like the waters the sea [which] cover.
10 Car en ce jour-là il arrivera que les nations rechercheront la racine d'Isaï, dressée pour être l'enseigne des peuples; et son séjour [ne] sera [que] gloire.
And it will be in the day that [the] root of Jesse who [will be] standing for a standard of peoples him nations they will seek and it will be resting place his glory.
11 Et il arrivera en ce jour-là, que le Seigneur mettra encore sa main une seconde fois pour acquérir le résidu de son peuple, qui sera demeuré de reste en Assyrie, en Egypte, à Pathros, à Chus, à Hélam, à Sinhar, à Hamath, et dans les Iles de la mer.
And it will be - in the day that he will repeat [the] Lord - a second [time] hand his to acquire [the] remnant of people his which it will remain from Assyria and from Egypt and from Pathros and from Cush and from Elam and from Shinar and from Hamath and from [the] islands of the sea.
12 Et il élèvera l'enseigne parmi les nations, et assemblera les Israélites qui auront été chassés, et recueillera des quatre coins de la terre ceux de Juda qui auront été dispersés.
And he will lift up a standard for the nations and he will gather [the] banished [men] of Israel and [the] scattered [women] of Judah he will assemble from [the] four [the] corners of the earth.
13 Et la jalousie d'Ephraïm sera ôtée, et les oppresseurs de Juda seront retranchés; Ephraïm ne sera plus jaloux de Juda, et Juda n'opprimera plus Ephraïm.
And it will come to an end [the] jealousy of Ephraim and [the] opposing of Judah they will be cut off Ephraim not it will be jealous of Judah and Judah not it will be opposed to Ephraim.
14 Mais ils voleront sur le collet aux Philistins vers la mer; ils pilleront ensemble les enfants d'Orient; Edom et Moab [seront] ceux sur lesquels ils jetteront leurs mains, et les enfants de Hammon leur obéiront.
And they will fly on [the] shoulder [the] Philistines west-ward together they will plunder [the] people of [the] east Edom and Moab [will be] [the] stretching out of hand their and [the] people of Ammon [will be] subjects their.
15 L'Eternel exterminera aussi à la façon de l'interdit la Langue de la mer d'Egypte, et lèvera sa main contre le fleuve par la force de son vent, et il le frappera sur les sept rivières, et fera qu'on y marchera avec des souliers.
And he will divide Yahweh [the] tongue of [the] sea of Egypt and he will brandish hand his over the River with [the] heat of wind his and he will strike it into seven wadis and he will make walk in sandals.
16 Et il y aura un chemin pour le résidu de son peuple qui sera demeuré de reste en Assyrie, comme il y en eut [un] pour Israël au temps qu'il remonta du pays d'Egypte.
And it will belong a highway to [the] remnant of people his which it will remain from Assyria just as it belonged to Israel on [the] day went up it from [the] land of Egypt.
