Genèse 3
1 Or le serpent était le plus fin de tous les animaux des champs que l'Eternel Dieu avait faits; et il dit à la femme: Quoi! Dieu a dit, vous ne mangerez point de tout arbre du jardin?
And the snake was shrewd more than every animal of the field which he had made Yahweh God and he said to the woman indeed? that did he say God not you must eat from any tree of the garden.
2 Et la femme répondit au serpent: Nous mangeons du fruit des arbres du jardin;
And she said the woman to the snake from [the] fruit of [the] tree[s] of the garden we will eat.
3 Mais quant au fruit de l'arbre qui est au milieu du jardin, Dieu a dit: Vous n'en mangerez point, et vous ne le toucherez point, de peur que vous ne mouriez.
And from [the] fruit of the tree which [is] in [the] middle of the garden he said God not you must eat from it and not you will touch it lest you should die!
4 Alors le serpent dit à la femme: Vous ne mourrez nullement;
And he said the snake to the woman not certainly you will die!
5 Mais Dieu sait qu'au jour que vous en mangerez, vos yeux seront ouverts, et vous serez comme des Dieux, sachant le bien et le mal.
For [is] knowing God that on [the] day eat you from it and they will be opened eyes your and you will be like God [those who] know good and evil.
6 La femme donc voyant que [le fruit] de l'arbre était bon à manger, et qu'il était agréable à la vue, et que [cet] arbre était désirable pour donner de la science, en prit du fruit, et en mangea, et elle en donna aussi à son mari [qui était] avec elle, et il en mangea.
And she saw the woman that [was] good the tree for food and that [was] a delight it to the eyes and [it was] desirable the tree to make wise and she took some of fruit its and she ate and she gave [it] also to husband her with her and he ate.
7 Et les yeux de tous deux furent ouverts; ils connurent qu'ils étaient nus, et ils cousirent ensemble des feuilles de figuier, et s'en firent des ceintures.
And they were opened [the] eyes of both of them and they knew that [were] naked they and they sewed together leafage of a fig tree and they made for themselves loin coverings.
8 Alors ils ouïrent au vent du jour la voix de l'Eternel Dieu qui se promenait par le jardin; et Adam et sa femme se cachèrent de devant l'Eternel Dieu, parmi les arbres du jardin.
And they heard [the] sound of Yahweh God walking about in the garden to [the] wind of the day and he hid himself the man and wife his from before Yahweh God in among [the] tree[s] of the garden.
9 Mais l'Eternel Dieu appela Adam, et lui dit: Où es-tu?
And he called Yahweh God to the man and he said to him where [are]? you.
10 Et il répondit: J'ai entendu ta voix dans le jardin, et j'ai craint, parce que j'étais nu, et je me suis caché.
And he said sound your I heard in the garden and I was afraid for [was] naked I and I hid myself.
11 Et [Dieu] dit: Qui t'a montré que tu [étais] nu? N'as-tu pas mangé [du fruit] de l'arbre dont je t'avais défendu de manger?
And he said who? did he tell to you that [were] naked you ¿ from the tree which I commanded you to not to eat from it have you eaten.
12 Et Adam répondit: La femme que tu m'as donnée [pour être] avec moi, m'a donné [du fruit] de l'arbre, et j'en ai mangé.
And he said the man the woman whom you put with me she she gave to me from the tree and I ate.
13 Et l'Eternel Dieu dit à la femme: Pourquoi as-tu fait cela? Et la femme répondit: Le serpent m'a séduite, et j'en ai mangé.
And he said Yahweh God to the woman what? this have you done and she said the woman the snake deceived me and I ate.
14 Alors l'Eternel Dieu dit au serpent: Parce que tu as fait cela, tu seras maudit entre tout le bétail, et entre toutes les bêtes des champs; tu marcheras sur ton ventre, et tu mangeras la poussière tous les jours de ta vie.
And he said Yahweh God - to the snake for you have done this [are] cursed you more than all livestock and more than every animal of the field on belly your you will go and dust you will eat all [the] days of life your.
15 Et je mettrai inimitié entre toi et la femme, et entre ta semence et la semence de la femme; cette [semence] te brisera la tête, et tu lui briseras le talon.
And enmity - I will put between you and between the woman and between offspring your and between offspring her he he will bruise you head and you you will bruise him heel.
16 [Et] il dit à la femme: J'augmenterai beaucoup ton travail et ta grossesse; tu enfanteras en travail les enfants; tes désirs se [rapporteront] à ton mari, et il dominera sur toi.
To the woman he said certainly I will increase pain your and pregnancy your with pain you will bear children and [will be] to husband your desire your and he he will rule over you.
17 Puis il dit à Adam: Parce que tu as obéi à la parole de ta femme, et que tu as mangé [du fruit] de l'arbre duquel je t'avais commandé, en disant: Tu n'en mangeras point, la terre sera maudite à cause de toi; tu en mangeras [les fruits] en travail, tous les jours de ta vie.
And to Adam he said (for *LA(bh)*) you listened to [the] voice of wife your and you ate from the tree which I commanded you saying not you must eat from it [is] cursed the ground for sake of you in pain you will eat it all [the] days of life your.
18 Et elle te produira des épines, et des chardons; et tu mangeras l'herbe des champs.
And thorn[s] and thistle[s] will cause to sprout for you and you will eat [the] vegetation of the field.
19 Tu mangeras le pain à la sueur de ton visage, jusqu'à ce que tu retournes en la terre, car tu en as été pris; parce que tu es poudre, tu retourneras aussi en poudre.
By [the] sweat of face your you will eat food until return you to the ground for from it you were taken for [are] dust you and to dust you will return.
20 Et Adam appela sa femme Eve; parce qu'elle a été la mère de tous les vivants.
And he called the man [the] name of wife his Eve for she she was [the] mother of every living [person].
21 Et l'Eternel Dieu fit à Adam et à sa femme des robes de peaux, et les en revêtit.
And he made Yahweh God for Adam and for wife his garments of skin and he clothed them.
22 Et l'Eternel Dieu dit: Voici, l'homme est devenu comme l'un de nous, sachant le bien et le mal; mais maintenant [il faut prendre garde] qu'il n'avance sa main, et aussi qu'il ne prenne de l'arbre de vie, et qu'il n'en mange, et ne vive à toujours.
And he said - Yahweh God here! the man he has become like one of us by knowing good and evil and therefore - lest he should stretch out hand his and he will take also from [the] tree of life and he will eat and he will live for ever.
23 Et l'Eternel Dieu le mit hors du jardin d'Héden, pour labourer la terre, de laquelle il avait été pris.
And he sent out him Yahweh God from [the] garden of Eden to till the ground where he was taken from there.
24 Ainsi il chassa l'homme, et mit des Chérubins vers l'Orient du jardin d'Héden, avec une lame d'épée qui se tournait çà et là, pour garder le chemin de l'arbre de vie.
And he drove out the man and he caused to dwell from east of [the] garden of Eden the cherubim and [the] flame of the sword whirling to guard [the] way of [the] tree of life.
