Exode 15
1 Alors Moïse, et les enfants d'Israël chantèrent ce cantique à l'Eternel, et dirent: je chanterai à l'Eternel, car il s'est hautement élevé; il a jeté dans la mer le cheval et celui qui le monte.
Thanne Moises song, and the sones of Israel, this song to the Lord; and thei seiden, Synge we to the Lord, for he is magnefied gloriousli; he castide doun the hors and the stiere in to the see.
2 L'Eternel est ma force et [ma] louange, et il a été mon Sauveur, mon [Dieu] Fort. Je lui dresserai un Tabernacle; c'est le Dieu de mon père, je l'exalterai.
My strengthe and my preisyng is the Lord; and he is maad to me in to heelthe. This is my God, and Y schal glorifie hym; the God of my fadir, and Y schal enhaunse hym.
3 L'Eternel est un vaillant guerrier, son nom est l'Eternel.
The Lord is as a man fiyter, his name is Almiyti;
4 Il a jeté dans la mer les chariots de Pharaon, et son armée; l'élite de ses Capitaines a été submergée dans la mer rouge.
he castide doun in to the see the charis of Farao, and his oost. Hise chosun princis weren drenchid in the reed see;
5 Les gouffres les ont couverts, ils sont descendus au fond [des eaux] comme une pierre.
the depe watris hiliden hem; thei yeden doun in to the depthe as a stoon.
6 Ta dextre, ô Eternel! s'est montrée magnifique en force; ta dextre, ô Eternel! a froissé l'ennemi.
Lord, thi riythond is magnyfied in strengthe; Lord, thi riythond smoot the enemye.
7 Tu as ruiné par la grandeur de ta Majesté ceux qui s'élevaient contre toi; tu as lâché ta colère, et elle les a consumés comme du chaume.
And in the mychilnesse of thi glorie thou hast put doun alle myn aduersaries; thou sentist thin ire, that deuouride hem as stobil.
8 Par le souffle de tes narines les eaux ont été amoncelées; les eaux courantes se sont arrêtées comme un monceau; les gouffres ont été gelés au milieu de la mer.
And watris weren gaderid in the spirit of thi woodnesse; flowinge watir stood, depe watris weren gaderid in the middis of the see.
9 L'ennemi disait: je poursuivrai, j'atteindrai, je partagerai le butin, mon âme sera assouvie d'eux, je dégainerai mon épée, ma main les détruira.
The enemy seide, Y schal pursue, and Y schal take; Y schal departe spuylis, my soule schal be fillid. I schal drawe out my swerde; myn hond schal sle hem.
10 Tu as soufflé de ton vent, la mer les a couverts; ils ont été enfoncés comme du plomb dans les eaux magnifiques.
Thi spirit blew, and the see hilide hem; thei weren drenchid as leed in grete watris.
11 Qui est comme toi entre les Forts, ô Eternel! Qui est comme toi, magnifique en sainteté, digne d'être révéré et célébré, faisant des choses merveilleuses?
Lord, who is lijk thee in stronge men, who is lijk thee? thou art greet doere in hoolynesse; ferdful, and preisable, and doynge myraclis.
12 Tu as étendu ta dextre, la terre les a engloutis.
Thou heldist forth thin hond, and the erthe deuouride hem;
13 Tu as conduit par ta miséricorde ce peuple que tu as racheté; tu l'as conduit par ta force à la demeure de ta sainteté.
thou were ledere in thi merci to thy puple, which thou ayen bouytist; and thou hast bore hym in thi strengthe to thin holi dwellyng place.
14 Les peuples l'ont entendu, et ils en ont tremblé; la douleur a saisi les habitants de la Palestine.
Puplis stieden, and weren wroothe; sorewis helden the dwelleris of Filistiym.
15 Alors les Princes d'Edom seront troublés, et le tremblement saisira les forts de Moab, tous les habitants de Chanaan se fondront.
Thanne the pryncis of Edom weren disturblid; tremblyng held the stronge men of Moab.
16 La frayeur et l'épouvante tomberont sur eux; ils seront rendus stupides comme une pierre, par la grandeur de ton bras, jusqu'à ce que ton peuple, ô Eternel! soit passé; jusqu'à ce que ce peuple que tu as acquis, soit passé.
Alle the dwelleris of Canaan `weren starke; inward drede falle on hem, and outward drede in the greetnesse of thin arm. Be thei maad vnmouable as a stoon, til thi puple passe, Lord; til this thi puple passe, whom thou weldidist.
17 Tu les introduiras et les planteras sur la montagne de ton héritage, au lieu [que] tu as préparé pour ta demeure ô Eternel! au Sanctuaire, ô Seigneur! que tes mains ont établi.
Thou schalt brynge hem in, and thou schalt plaunte in the hil of thin eritage; in the moost stidefast dwellyng place which thou hast wrouyt, Lord; Lord, thi seyntuarie, which thin hondis made stidefast.
18 L'Eternel régnera à jamais et à perpétuité.
The Lord schal `regne in to the world and ferthere.
19 Car le cheval de Pharaon est entré dans la mer avec son chariot et ses gens de cheval, et l'Eternel a fait retourner sur eux les eaux de la mer, mais les enfants d'Israël ont marché à sec au milieu de la mer.
Forsothe Farao, `a ridere, entride with his charis and knyytis in to the see, and the Lord brouyte the watris of the se on hem; sotheli the sones of Israel yeden bi the drie place, in the myddis of the see.
20 Et Marie la Prophétesse, sœur d'Aaron, prit un tambour en sa main, et toutes les femmes sortirent après elle, avec des tambours et des flûtes.
Therfore Marie, profetesse, the `sistir of Aaron, took a tympan in hir hond, and alle the wymmen yeden out aftir hyr with tympans and cumpanyes;
21 Et Marie leur répondait: chantez à l'Eternel, car il s'est hautement élevé; il a jeté dans la mer le cheval et celui qui le montait.

22 Après cela Moïse fit partir les Israélites de la mer rouge, et ils tirèrent vers le désert de Sur, et ayant marché trois jours par le désert, ils ne trouvaient point d'eau.
Forsothe Moises took Israel fro the reed see, and thei yeden out in to the deseert of Sur, and thei yeden thre daies bi the wildirnesse, and thei founden not watir.
23 De là ils vinrent à Mara, mais ils ne pouvaient point boire des eaux de Mara, parce qu'elles étaient amères; c'est pourquoi ce lieu fut appelé Mara.
And thei camen in to Marath, and thei miyten not drynk the watris of Marath, for tho weren bittere; wherfor and he puttide a couenable name to the place, and clepide it Mara, that is, bitternesse.
24 Et le peuple murmura contre Moïse, en disant: que boirons-nous?
And the puple grutchide ayens Moises, and seide, What schulen we drynke?
25 Et [Moïse] cria à l'Eternel; et l'Eternel lui enseigna un certain bois, qu'il jeta dans les eaux; et les eaux devinrent douces. Il lui proposa là une ordonnance et une loi, et il l'éprouva là;
And Moises criede to the Lord, which schewide to hym a tre; and whanne he hadde put that tre in to watris, tho weren turned in to swetnesse. There the Lord ordeynede comaundementis and domes to the puple, and there he asayede the puple,
26 Et lui dit: Si tu écoutes attentivement la voix de l'Eternel ton Dieu; si tu fais ce qui [est] droit devant lui; si tu prêtes l'oreille à ses commandements; si tu gardes toutes ses ordonnances; je ne ferai venir sur toi aucune des infirmités que j'ai fait venir sur l'Egypte; car je suis l'Eternel qui te guérit.
and seide, If thou schalt here the vois of thi Lord God, and schalt do that that is riytful byfore hym, and schalt obeie to his comaundementis, and schalt kepe alle hise heestis, Y schal not brynge yn on thee al the syknesse, which Y puttide in Egipt, for Y am thi Lord Sauyour.
27 Puis ils vinrent à Elim, où il y avait douze fontaines d'eau, et soixante et dix palmes; et ils se campèrent là auprès des eaux.
Forsothe the sones of Israel camen in to Helym, where weren twelue wellis of watris, and seuenti palm trees, and thei settiden tentis bisidis the watris.
