Éphésiens 1
1 Paul Apôtre de Jésus-Christ, par la volonté de Dieu, aux Saints et Fidèles en Jésus-Christ qui sont à Ephèse.
PAULOS, an apostle of Jeshu Meshiha by the will of Aloha, to those who are in Ephesos, saints and believers in Jeshu Meshiha:
2 Que la grâce et la paix vous soient données par Dieu notre Père, et par le Seigneur Jésus-Christ.
peace be with you, and grace from Aloha our Father, and from our Lord Jeshu Meshiha.
3 Béni soit Dieu, qui est le Père de notre Seigneur Jésus-Christ, qui nous a bénis de toute bénédiction spirituelle dans les [lieux] célestes en Christ.
Blessed be He, Aloha, the Father of our Lord Jeshu Meshiha, who hath blessed us with all blessings of the Spirit in heaven, in the Meshiha;
4 Selon qu'il nous avait élus en lui avant la fondation du monde, afin que nous fussions saints et irrépréhensibles devant lui en charité.
as he before elected us in him, from before the foundations of the world, that we should be saints, and without blemish before him,
5 Nous ayant prédestinés pour nous adopter à soi par Jésus-Christ, selon le bon plaisir de sa volonté;
and in love predesignated us unto himself, and constituted us children in Jeshu Meshiha, according to the pleasure of his will;
6 A la louange de la gloire de sa grâce, par laquelle il nous a rendus agréables en son Bien-Aimé.
that the glory of his grace might be glorified, that (grace) which he hath poured upon us by the hand of his Beloved:
7 En qui nous avons la rédemption par son sang, [savoir] la rémission des offenses, selon les richesses de sa grâce,
in whom we have redemption, and by his blood the remission of sins, according to the riches of his grace
8 Laquelle il a fait abonder sur nous en toute sagesse et intelligence;
which he hath made to abound in us in all wisdom and in all understanding of the Spirit;
9 Nous ayant donné à connaître selon son bon plaisir, le secret de sa volonté, lequel il avait premièrement arrêté en soi-même.
and hath made known to us the mystery of his will, which before he had determined in himself should be done:
10 Afin que dans l'accomplissement des temps qu'il avait réglés, il réunît tout en Christ, tant ce qui est aux cieux, que ce qui est sur la terre, en lui-même.
that in the dispensation of the fulness of the times, every thing from the first might be renovated in the Meshiha, in heaven and in earth. And by him
11 En qui aussi nous sommes faits son héritage, ayant été prédestinés, suivant la résolution de celui qui accomplit avec efficace toutes choses, selon le conseil de sa volonté;
we have been chosen, even as he predesignated and willed, who worketh all according to the mind of his will;
12 Afin que nous soyons à la louange de sa gloire, nous qui avons les premiers espéré en Christ.
that we who first hoped in the Meshiha, should be to the honour of his glory.
13 En qui vous êtes aussi, ayant ouï la parole de la vérité, [qui est] l'Evangile de votre salut, et auquel ayant cru vous avez été scellés du Saint-Esprit de la promesse;
In whom you also heard the word of truth, which is the gospel of your salvation; and in whom you believed and were sealed with the Spirit of Holiness who was promised;
14 Lequel est l'arrhe de notre héritage jusqu'à la rédemption de la possession qu'il a acquise, à la louange de sa gloire.
who is the earnest of our inheritance, until the redemption of those who are saved, and unto the praise of his majesty.
15 C'est pourquoi aussi ayant entendu parler de la foi que vous avez au Seigneur Jésus, et de la charité que vous avez envers tous les Saints,
ON account of this, behold, I also, since I heard of your faith in our Lord Jeshu Meshiha, and your love to all the saints,
16 Je ne cesse point de rendre grâces pour vous dans mes prières;
have not ceased to give thanks on your behalf, and to remember you in my prayers;
17 Afin que le Dieu de notre Seigneur Jésus-Christ, le Père de gloire, vous donne l'Esprit de sagesse, et de révélation, dans ce qui regarde sa connaissance;
that the God of our Lord Jeshu Meshiha, the Father of glory, would give to you the Spirit of wisdom and of revelation in his knowledge,
18 Qu'il illumine les yeux de votre entendement, afin que vous sachiez quelle est l'espérance de sa vocation, et quelles sont les richesses de la gloire de son héritage dans les Saints;
and would enlighten the eyes of your hearts to know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance for the saints,
19 Et quelle est l'excellente grandeur de sa puissance envers nous qui croyons selon l'efficace de la puissance de sa force:
and what is the inheritance of his power in us who believe, according to the operation of the might of his power,
20 Laquelle il a déployée avec efficace en Christ, quand il l'a ressuscité des morts, et qu'il l’a fait asseoir à sa droite dans les [lieux] célestes,
which he wrought in the Meshiha, and raised him from among the dead, and set him at his right hand in heaven, above all the principalities,
21 Au-dessus de toute Principauté, de toute Puissance, de toute Dignité et de toute Domination, et au-dessus de tout Nom qui se nomme, non-seulement en ce siècle, mais aussi en celui qui est à venir. (aiōn g165)
and powers, and mighty ones, and rulers, and above every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in (that) to come; (aiōn g165)
22 Et il a assujetti toutes choses sous ses pieds, et l'a établi sur toutes choses pour être le Chef de l'Eglise;
and subjected every thing beneath his feet: and Him who is over all he hath given to be the head of the church,
23 Qui est son Corps, et l'accomplissement de celui qui accomplit tout en tous.
which is His body, the completeness of Him who all in all completeth.
