Deutéronome 5
1 Moïse donc appela tout Israël, et leur dit: Ecoute, Israël, les statuts et les droits que je te prononce aujourd'hui, vous les entendant, afin que vous les appreniez, et que vous les gardiez pour les faire.
And he summoned Moses all Israel and he said to them hear O Israel the statutes and the judgments which I [am] speaking in ears your this day and you will learn them and you will take care to observe them.
2 L'Eternel notre Dieu a traité alliance avec nous en Horeb.
Yahweh God our he made with us a covenant at Horeb.
3 Dieu n'a point traité cette alliance avec nos pères, mais avec nous, qui sommes ici aujourd'hui tous vivants.
Not with ancestors our he made Yahweh the covenant this for with us we these here this day all of us alive.
4 L'Eternel vous parla face à face sur la montagne, du milieu du feu.
Face - on face he spoke Yahweh with you at the mountain from [the] middle of the fire.
5 Je me tenais en ce temps-là entre l'Eternel et vous, pour vous rapporter la parole de l'Eternel; parce que vous aviez peur de ce feu, vous ne montâtes point sur la montagne, [et le Seigneur] dit:
I [was] standing between Yahweh and between you at the time that to declare to you [the] word of Yahweh for you were afraid of the fire and not you went up on the mountain saying.
6 Je suis l'Eternel ton Dieu, qui t'ai tiré du pays d'Egypte, de la maison de servitude.
I [am] Yahweh God your who I brought out you from [the] land of Egypt (from a house of slaves. *L(p)*)
7 Tu n'auras point d'autres dieux devant ma face.
(Not it will belong to you gods other *L(p)*) on (face my. *L(p)*)
8 Tu ne te feras point d'image taillée, ni aucune ressemblance des choses qui sont là-haut aux cieux, ni ici bas sur la terre, ni dans les eaux qui sont sous la terre.
(Not you must make for yourself an image of - *L(p)*) any (form which [is] in the heavens - above and which [is] on the earth beneath *L(p)*) and which ([is] in the waters - from under to the earth. *L(p)*)
9 Tu ne te prosterneras point devant elles, et tu ne les serviras point; car je suis l'Eternel ton Dieu, le [Dieu] Fort qui est jaloux, [et ] qui punis l'iniquité des pères sur les enfants, jusqu'à la troisième et à la quatrième [génération] de ceux qui me haïssent.
Not (you must bow down to them *L(p)*) and not (you must be enticed to serve them *L(p)*) for I Yahweh God your [am] a God jealous [who] visits [the] iniquity of parents on children and on a third generation and on a fourth generation (of [those who] hate me. *L(p)*)
10 Et qui fais miséricorde jusqu'à mille [générations] à ceux qui m'aiment et qui gardent mes commandements.
(And [who] does covenant loyalty *L(p)*) (to thousands *L(b+p)*) of [those who] love me and of [those who] keep (commandments my. *Q(K)*)
11 Tu ne prendras point le Nom de l'Eternel ton Dieu en vain; car l'Eternel ne tiendra point pour innocent celui qui aura pris son Nom en vain.
Not you must take [the] name of Yahweh God your for emptiness for not he will leave unpunished Yahweh [one] who he will take name his for emptiness.
12 Garde le jour du repos pour le sanctifier, ainsi que l'Eternel ton Dieu te l'a commandé.
(Keep *L(p)*) ([the] day of the sabbath to set apart as holy it *L(p)*) just as (he commanded you - Yahweh God your. *L(p)*)
13 Tu travailleras six jours, et tu feras toute ton œuvre;
(Six days *L(p)*) (you will labor *L(b+p)*) (and you will do all work your. *L(p)*)
14 Mais le septième jour [est] le repos de l'Eternel ton Dieu; tu ne feras aucune œuvre en ce jour-là, ni toi, ni ton fils, ni ta fille, ni ton serviteur, ni ta servante, ni ton bœuf, ni ton âne, ni aucune de tes bêtes, ni ton étranger qui [est] dans tes portes, afin que ton serviteur et ta servante se reposent comme toi.
And [the] day (seventh [is] a sabbath - *L(p)*) (to Yahweh *L(b+p)*) (God your *L(p)*) not you must do any work you and son your and daughter your and [male] servant your and female servant your and ox your and donkey your and all livestock your and sojourner your who [is] in gates your so that he may rest [male] servant your and female servant your (like you. *L(p)*)
15 Et qu'il te souvienne que tu as été esclave au pays d'Egypte, et que l'Eternel ton Dieu t'en a retiré à main forte, et à bras étendu; c'est pourquoi l'Eternel ton Dieu t'a commandé de garder le jour du repos.
(And you will remember *L(p)*) that (a slave you were - *L(p)*) in [the] land of (Egypt and he brought out you Yahweh God your from there by a hand strong *L(p)*) and by an arm (outstretched *L(p)*) there-fore he has commanded you Yahweh God your to observe [the] day of the sabbath.
16 Honore ton père et ta mère, comme l'Eternel ton Dieu te l'a commandé, afin que tes jours soient prolongés, et afin que tu prospères sur la terre que l'Eternel ton Dieu te donne.
Honor father your and mother your just as he has commanded you Yahweh God your so that - they may be long! days your and so that it may go well for you on the land which Yahweh God your [is] about to give to you.
17 Tu ne tueras point.
(Not you must murder. *L(p)*)
18 Et tu ne paillarderas point.
(And not you must commit adultery. *L(p)*)
19 Et tu ne déroberas point.
(And not you must steal. *L(p)*)
20 Et tu ne diras point de faux témoignage contre ton prochain.
And not you must testify against neighbor your testimony of falsehood.
21 Tu ne convoiteras point la femme de ton prochain, tu ne souhaiteras point la maison de ton prochain, ni son champ, ni son serviteur, ni sa servante, ni son bœuf, ni son âne, ni aucune chose qui soit à ton prochain.
And not you must covet [the] wife of neighbor your. And not you must desire [the] house of neighbor your field his and [male] servant his and female servant his ox his and donkey his and all that [belongs] to neighbor your.
22 L'Eternel prononça ces paroles à toute votre assemblée sur la montagne, du milieu du feu, de la nuée et de l'obscurité, avec une voix forte, et il ne prononça rien davantage; puis il les écrivit dans deux Tables de pierre, qu'il me donna.
The words these he spoke Yahweh to all assembly your at the mountain from [the] middle of the fire the cloud and the thick darkness a voice great and not he added and he inscribed them on two tablets of stone and he gave them to me.
23 r il arriva qu'aussitôt que vous eûtes entendu cette voix du milieu de l'obscurité, parce que la montagne était toute en feu, vous vous approchâtes de moi, [savoir] tous les chefs de vos Tribus et vos anciens;
And it was when heard you the voice from [the] middle of the darkness and the mountain [was] burning with fire and you drew near! to me all [the] chiefs of tribes your and elders your.
24 Et vous dîtes: Voici, l'Eternel notre Dieu nous a fait voir sa gloire et sa grandeur, et nous avons entendu sa voix du milieu du feu; aujourd'hui nous avons vu que Dieu a parlé avec l'homme, et que l'homme est demeuré en vie.
And you said here! he has shown us Yahweh God our glory his and greatness his and voice his we have heard from [the] middle of the fire the day this we have seen that he speaks God with humankind and he will live.
25 Et maintenant pourquoi mourrions-nous? Car ce grand feu-là nous consumera; si nous entendons encore une fois la voix de l'Eternel notre Dieu, nous mourrons.
And therefore why? will we die for it will consume us the fire great this if [are] repeating - we to hear [the] voice of Yahweh God our again and we will die.
26 Car qui est l'homme, quel qu'il soit, qui ait entendu, comme nous, la voix du Dieu vivant, parlant du milieu du feu, et qui soit demeuré en vie?
For who? [is] all flesh who he has heard [the] voice of God living speaking from [the] middle of the fire like us and he has lived.
27 Approche-toi, et écoute tout ce que l'Eternel notre Dieu dira; puis tu nous rediras tout ce que l'Eternel notre Dieu t'aura dit, nous l'entendrons, et nous le ferons.
Draw near you and hear all that he will say Yahweh God our and you - you will speak to us all that he will speak Yahweh God our to you and we will listen and we will do [it].
28 Et l'Eternel ouït la voix de vos paroles pendant que vous me parliez, et l'Eternel me dit: J'ai ouï la voix des discours de ce peuple, lesquels ils t'ont tenu; tout ce qu ils ont dit, ils l'ont bien dit.
And he heard Yahweh [the] sound of words your when spoke you to me and he said Yahweh to me I have heard [the] sound of [the] words of the people this which they spoke to you they have done well all that they have spoken.
29 Ô! s'ils avaient toujours ce même cœur pour me craindre, et pour garder tous mes commandements, afin qu'ils prospérassent, eux et leurs enfants à jamais.
Who? will he give and it will belong heart their this to them to fear me and to keep all commandments my all the days so that it may go well for them and for children their for ever.
30 Va, dis-leur: Retournez-vous-en dans vos tentes.
Go say to them return yourselves to tents your.
31 Mais toi, demeure ici avec moi, et je te dirai tous les commandements, les statuts, et les droits que tu leur enseigneras, afin qu'ils les fassent au pays que je leur donne pour le posséder.
And you here stand with me so let me speak to you all the commandment and the statutes and the judgments which you will teach them and they will observe [them] in the land which I [am] about to give to them to take possession of it.
32 Vous prendrez donc garde de les faire; comme l'Eternel votre Dieu vous l'a commandé; vous ne vous en détournerez ni à droite ni à gauche.
And you will take care to do just as he has commanded Yahweh God your you not you must turn aside right [hand] and left [hand].
33 Vous marcherez dans toute la voie que l'Eternel votre Dieu vous a prescrite, afin que vous viviez, et que vous prospériez, et que vous prolongiez vos jours au pays que vous posséderez.
In all the way which he has commanded Yahweh God your you you will walk so that you may live! and it will be good for you and you will prolong days in the land which you will take possession of!
