2 Chroniques 8
1 Or il arriva au bout des vingt ans, pendant lesquels Salomon bâtit la maison de l'Eternel, et sa maison;
And it was from [the] end of - twenty year[s] which he built Solomon [the] house of Yahweh and own house his.
2 Qu'il bâtit aussi les villes que Hiram lui avait données, et il y fit habiter les enfants d'Israël.
And the cities which he had given Huram to Solomon he rebuilt Solomon them and he caused to dwell there [the] people of Israel.
3 Puis Salomon s'en alla à Hamath de Tsoba, et la conquit.
And he went Solomon to Hamath Zobah and he prevailed over it.
4 Salomon bâtit aussi Tadmor au désert, et toutes les villes de munitions qu'il bâtit à Hamath.
And he built Tadmor in the wilderness and all [the] cities of storage which he built in Hamath.
5 Et il bâtit aussi Beth-horon la haute, et Beth-horon la basse, villes fortes de murailles, de portes, et de barres.
And he built Beth Horon upper and Beth Horon lower cities of fortification walls doors and bar[s].
6 Et Bahalath, et toutes les villes de munitions qu'eut Salomon, et toutes les villes où il tenait ses chariots, et les villes où il tenait ses gens de cheval, et tout ce que Salomon prit plaisir de bâtir à Jérusalem, et au Liban, et dans tout le pays de sa domination.
And Baalath and all [the] cities of storage which they belonged to Solomon and all [the] cities of chariotry and [the] cities of the horsemen and - all [the] desire of Solomon which he desired to build in Jerusalem and in Lebanon and in all [the] land of dominion his.
7 Et quant à tout le peuple qui était resté des Héthiens, des Amorrhéens, des Phérésiens, des Héviens et des Jébusiens, qui n'étaient point d'Israël;
All the people which remained of the Hittite[s] and the Amorite[s] and the Perizzite[s] and the Hivite[s] and the Jebusite[s] which not [were] from Israel they.
8 D'entre les gens qui étaient restés après eux au pays, [et] que les enfants d'Israël n'avaient pas entièrement détruits, Salomon les rendit tributaires jusqu'à aujourd'hui.
Some of descendants their who they remained after them in the land whom not they had destroyed them [the] people of Israel and he brought up them Solomon to forced labor until the day this.
9 Mais Salomon ne souffrit point que les enfants d'Israël fussent asservis à faire son ouvrage, mais ils étaient gens de guerre, et principaux Chefs de ses capitaines, et Chefs de ses chariots, et ses hommes d'armes.
And of [the] people of Israel whom not he made Solomon into slaves for work his for they [were] men of war and [the] commanders of officers his and [the] commanders of chariotry his and horsemen his.
10 Il y en avait aussi deux cent cinquante, qui étaient les principaux Chefs de ceux qui étaient établis [sur les ouvrages] du Roi Salomon, lesquels avaient l'intendance sur le peuple.
And these [were] [the] commanders of (the overseers *Q(K)*) who [belonged] to the king Solomon fifty and two hundred who ruled over the people.
11 Or Salomon fit monter la fille de Pharaon de la Cité de David en la maison qu'il lui avait bâtie; car il dit: Ma femme n'habitera point dans la maison de David Roi d'Israël, parce que les lieux auxquels l'Arche de l'Eternel est entrée sont saints.
And [the] daughter of Pharaoh he brought up Solomon from [the] city of David to the house which he had built for her for he said not she will dwell a wife of me in [the] house of David [the] king of Israel for [are] holiness they [places] where it has come to them [the] ark of Yahweh.
12 Et Salomon offrait des holocaustes à l'Eternel, sur l'autel de l'Eternel, qu'il avait bâti vis-à-vis du porche.
Then he offered up Solomon burnt offerings to Yahweh on [the] altar of Yahweh which he had built before the porch.
13 Et même selon qu'il échéait chaque jour, offrant selon le commandement de Moïse aux jours de Sabbat, et aux nouvelles lunes, et aux fêtes solennelles, trois fois l'année, [savoir] en la fête solennelle des pains sans levain, en la fête solennelle des semaines, et en la fête solennelle des Tabernacles.
And a matter of a day in a day to offer up according to [the] commandment of Moses for the sabbaths and for the new moons and for the appointed times three times in the year at [the] festival of the unleavened bread and at [the] festival of the weeks and at [the] festival of booths.
14 Et il établit, suivant ce qu'avait ordonné David son père, les départements des Sacrificateurs selon leur ministère, et les Lévites selon leurs charges, afin qu'ils louassent [Dieu], et qu'ils fissent le service, aidant les Sacrificateurs selon l'ordinaire de chaque jour. [Il établit aussi] les portiers en leurs départements à chaque porte; car tel avait été le commandement de David homme de Dieu.
And he appointed according to [the] ordinance of David father his [the] divisions of the priests on service their and the Levites on duties their to praise and to serve before the priests to [the] matter of a day in day its and the gatekeepers by divisions their for a gate and a gate for [was] thus [the] commandment of David [the] man of God.
15 Et on ne s'écarta point du commandement du Roi touchant les Sacrificateurs et les Lévites, en aucun article, ni en ce qui regardait les trésors.
And not they turned aside [the] command of the king on the priests and the Levites to any matter and to the treasuries.
16 Tout l'ouvrage donc de Salomon ayant été bien préparé, jusqu'au jour que la maison de l'Eternel fut fondée, et jusqu'à ce qu'elle fut achevée, la maison de l'Eternel fut ainsi finie.
And it was arranged all [the] work of Solomon until the day of [the] foundation of [the] house of Yahweh and until was complete it [was] complete [the] house of Yahweh.
17 Alors Salomon s'en alla à Hetsjon-guéber, et à Eloth, sur le rivage de la mer, qui est au pays d'Edom.
Then he went Solomon to Ezion Geber and to Elath on [the] shore of the sea in [the] land of Edom.
18 Et Hiram lui envoya, sous la conduite de ses serviteurs, des navires, et des serviteurs expérimentés dans la marine, qui s'en allèrent avec les serviteurs de Salomon à Ophir; et ils prirent de là quatre cent cinquante talents d'or, et les apportèrent au Roi Salomon.
And he sent to him Huram by [the] hand of servants his (ships *Q(k)*) and servants [who] knew [the] sea and they went with [the] servants of Solomon Ophir towards and they took from there four hundred and fifty talent[s] of gold and they brought [it] to the king Solomon.
