1 Samuel 15
1 Or Samuel dit à Saül: L'Eternel m'a envoyé pour t'oindre afin que tu sois Roi sur mon peuple, sur Israël; maintenant donc écoute les paroles de l'Eternel.
and to say Samuel to(wards) Saul [obj] me to send: depart LORD to/for to anoint you to/for king upon people his upon Israel and now to hear: hear to/for voice: message word LORD
2 Ainsi a dit l'Eternel des armées: J'ai rappelé en ma mémoire ce qu'Hamalec a fait à Israël, [et] comment il s'opposa à lui sur le chemin, quand il montait d'Egypte.
thus to say LORD Hosts to reckon: list [obj] which to make: do Amalek to/for Israel which to set: put to/for him in/on/with way: journey in/on/with to ascend: rise he from Egypt
3 Va maintenant, et frappe Hamalec, et détruisez à la façon de l'interdit tout ce qu'il a, et ne l'épargne point; mais fais mourir tant les hommes que les femmes; tant les grands que ceux qui tètent, tant les bœufs que le menu bétail, tant les chameaux que les ânes.
now to go: went and to smite [obj] Amalek and to devote/destroy [obj] all which to/for him and not to spare upon him and to die from man till woman from infant and till to suckle from cattle and till sheep from camel and till donkey
4 Saül donc assembla le peuple à cri public, et en fit le dénombrement à Télaïm, qui fut de deux cent mille hommes de pied, et de dix mille hommes de Juda.
and to hear: proclaim Saul [obj] [the] people and to reckon: list them in/on/with Telaim hundred thousand on foot and ten thousand with man Judah
5 Et Saül vint jusqu'à la ville de Hamalec, et mit des embuscades en la vallée.
and to come (in): come Saul till city Amalek and to ambush in/on/with torrent: valley
6 Et Saül dit aux Kéniens: Allez retirez-vous, descendez du milieu des Hamalécites, de peur que je ne vous enveloppe avec eux; car vous usâtes de gratuité envers tous les enfants d'Israël, quand ils montèrent d'Egypte. Et les Kéniens se retirèrent d'entre les Hamalécites.
and to say Saul to(wards) [the] Kenite to go: went to turn aside: depart to go down from midst Amalekite lest to gather you with him and you(m. s.) to make: do kindness with all son: descendant/people Israel in/on/with to ascend: rise they from Egypt and to turn aside: depart Kenite from midst Amalek
7 Et Saül frappa les Hamalécites depuis Havila jusqu'en Sur, qui est vis-à-vis d'Egypte.
and to smite Saul [obj] Amalek from Havilah to come (in): towards you Shur which upon face: surface Egypt
8 Et il prit vif Agag, Roi d'Hamalec; mais il fît passer tout le peuple au fil de l'épée à la façon de l'interdit.
and to capture [obj] Agag king Amalek alive and [obj] all [the] people to devote/destroy to/for lip: edge sword
9 Saül donc et le peuple épargnèrent Agag, et les meilleures brebis, les [meilleurs] bœufs, les bêtes grasses, les agneaux, et tout ce qui était bon; et ils ne voulurent point les détruire à la façon de l'interdit; ils détruisirent seulement à la façon de l'interdit tout ce qui n'était d'aucun prix, et méprisable.
and to spare Saul and [the] people upon Agag and upon best [the] flock and [the] cattle and [the] second and upon [the] ram and upon all [the] good and not be willing to devote/destroy them and all [the] work vile and to melt [obj] her to devote/destroy
10 Alors la parole de l'Eternel fut adressée à Samuel en disant:
and to be word LORD to(wards) Samuel to/for to say
11 Je me repens d'avoir établi Saül pour Roi, car il s'est détourné de moi, et n'a point exécuté mes paroles. Et Samuel en fut fort attristé, et cria à l'Eternel toute cette nuit-là.
to be sorry: relent for to reign [obj] Saul to/for king for to return: turn back from after me and [obj] word my not to arise: establish and to be incensed to/for Samuel and to cry out to(wards) LORD all [the] night
12 Puis Samuel se leva de bon matin pour aller au-devant de Saül. Et on fit rapport à Samuel, en disant: Saül est venu à Carmel, et voici il s'est fait [là] dresser une place, mais il s'en est retourné, et passant au delà il est descendu à Guilgal.
and to rise Samuel to/for to encounter: meet Saul in/on/with morning and to tell to/for Samuel to/for to say to come (in): come Saul [the] Carmel [to] and behold to stand to/for him hand: themselves and to turn: turn and to pass and to go down [the] Gilgal
13 Quand Samuel fut venu à Saül, Saül lui dit: Tu sois béni de l'Eternel; j'ai exécuté la parole de l'Eternel.
and to come (in): come Samuel to(wards) Saul and to say to/for him Saul to bless you(m. s.) to/for LORD to arise: establish [obj] word LORD
14 Et Samuel dit: Quel est donc ce bêlement de brebis à mes oreilles, et ce meuglement de bœufs que j'entends?
and to say Samuel and what? voice: sound [the] flock [the] this in/on/with ear my and voice: sound [the] cattle which I to hear: hear
15 Et Saül répondit: Ils les ont amenés des Hamalécites; car le peuple a épargné les meilleures brebis et les [meilleurs] bœufs, pour les sacrifier à l'Eternel ton Dieu; et nous avons détruit le reste à la façon de l'interdit.
and to say Saul from Amalekite to come (in): bring them which to spare [the] people upon best [the] flock and [the] cattle because to sacrifice to/for LORD God your and [obj] [the] advantage to devote/destroy
16 Et Samuel dit à Saül: Arrête, et je te déclarerai ce que l'Eternel m'a dit cette nuit; et il lui répondit: Parle?
and to say Samuel to(wards) Saul to slacken and to tell to/for you [obj] which to speak: speak LORD to(wards) me [the] night (and to say *Q(K)*) to/for him to speak: speak
17 Samuel donc dit: N'est-il pas vrai que, quand tu étais petit à tes yeux, tu as été fait Chef des Tribus d'Israël, et l'Eternel t'a oint pour Roi sur Israël?
and to say Samuel not if small you(m. s.) in/on/with eye: appearance your head: leader tribe Israel you(m. s.) and to anoint you LORD to/for king upon Israel
18 Or l'Eternel t'avait envoyé en cette expédition, et t'avait dit: Va, et détruis à la façon de l'interdit ces pécheurs, les Hamalécites, et fais-leur la guerre, jusqu'à ce qu'ils soient consumés.
and to send: depart you LORD in/on/with way: journey and to say to go: went and to devote/destroy [obj] [the] sinner [obj] Amalek and to fight in/on/with him till to end: destroy they [obj] them
19 Et pourquoi n'as-tu pas obéi à la voix de l'Eternel, mais tu t'es jeté sur le butin, et as fait ce qui déplaît à l'Eternel.
and to/for what? not to hear: obey in/on/with voice LORD and to pounce to(wards) [the] spoil and to make: do [the] bad: evil in/on/with eye: seeing LORD
20 Et Saül répondit à Samuel: J'ai pourtant obéi à la voix de l'Eternel, et je suis allé par le chemin par lequel l'Eternel m'a envoyé, et j'ai amené Agag Roi des Hamalécites, et j'ai détruit à la façon de l'interdit les Hamalécites.
and to say Saul to(wards) Samuel which to hear: obey in/on/with voice LORD and to go: went in/on/with way: journey which to send: depart me LORD and to come (in): bring [obj] Agag king Amalek and [obj] Amalek to devote/destroy
21 Mais le peuple a pris des brebis et des bœufs du butin, [comme] des prémices de l'interdit, pour sacrifier à l'Eternel ton Dieu à Guilgal.
and to take: take [the] people from [the] spoil flock and cattle first: best [the] devoted thing to/for to sacrifice to/for LORD God your in/on/with Gilgal
22 Alors Samuel dit: L'Eternel prend-il plaisir aux holocaustes et aux sacrifices, comme qu'on obéisse à sa voix? Voici, l'obéissance vaut mieux que le sacrifice, [et] se rendre attentif vaut mieux que la graisse des moutons;
and to say Samuel pleasure to/for LORD in/on/with burnt offering and sacrifice like/as to hear: obey in/on/with voice LORD behold to hear: obey from sacrifice pleasant to/for to listen from fat ram
23 Car la rébellion est [autant que] le péché de divination, et c'est une idole et un Théraphim que la transgression. Parce [donc] que tu as rejeté la parole de l'Eternel, il t'a aussi rejeté, afin que tu ne sois plus Roi.
for sin divination rebellion and evil: wickedness and teraphim to press because to reject [obj] word LORD and to reject you from king
24 Et Saül répondit à Samuel: J'ai péché parce que j'ai transgressé le commandement de l'Eternel, et tes paroles; car je craignais le peuple, et j'ai acquiescé à sa voix.
and to say Saul to(wards) Samuel to sin for to pass: trespass [obj] lip: word LORD and [obj] word your for to fear [obj] [the] people and to hear: obey in/on/with voice their
25 Mais maintenant, je te prie, pardonne-moi mon péché, et retourne-t'en avec moi, et je me prosternerai devant l'Eternel.
and now to lift: forgive please [obj] sin my and to return: return with me and to bow to/for LORD
26 Et Samuel dit à Saül: Je ne retournerai point avec toi; parce que tu as rejeté la parole de l'Eternel, et que l'Eternel t'a rejeté, afin que tu ne sois plus Roi sur Israël.
and to say Samuel to(wards) Saul not to return: return with you for to reject [obj] word LORD and to reject you LORD from to be king upon Israel
27 Et comme Samuel se tournait pour s'en aller, [Saül] lui prit le pan de son manteau, qui se déchira.
and to turn: turn Samuel to/for to go: went and to strengthen: hold in/on/with wing robe his and to tear
28 Alors Samuel lui dit: L'Eternel a aujourd'hui déchiré le Royaume d'Israël de dessus toi, et l'a donné à ton prochain, qui est meilleur que toi.
and to say to(wards) him Samuel to tear LORD [obj] kingdom Israel from upon you [the] day: today and to give: give her to/for neighbor your [the] pleasant from you
29 Et en effet; la force d'Israël ne mentira point, elle ne se repentira point; car il n'est pas un homme, pour se repentir.
and also perpetuity Israel not to deal and not to be sorry: relent for not man he/she/it to/for to be sorry: relent
30 Et Saül répondit: J'ai péché; [mais] honore moi maintenant, je te prie, en la présence des Anciens de mon peuple, et en la présence d'Israël, et retourne-t'en avec moi, et je me prosternerai devant l'Eternel ton Dieu.
and to say to sin now to honor: honour me please before old: elder people my and before Israel and to return: return with me and to bow to/for LORD God your
31 Samuel donc s'en retourna et suivit Saül; et Saül se prosterna devant l'Eternel.
and to return: turn back Samuel after Saul and to bow Saul to/for LORD
32 Puis Samuel dit: Amenez-moi Agag Roi d'Hamalec. Et Agag vint à lui, faisant le gracieux; car Agag disait: Certainement l'amertume de la mort est passée.
and to say Samuel to approach: bring to(wards) me [obj] Agag king Amalek and to go: come to(wards) him Agag bond and to say Agag surely to turn aside: depart bitter [the] death
33 Mais Samuel dit: Comme ton épée a privé les femmes [de leurs enfants], ainsi ta mère sera privée d'enfants entre les femmes. Et Samuel mit Agag en pièces devant l'Eternel à Guilgal.
and to say Samuel like/as as which be bereaved woman sword your so be bereaved from woman mother your and to hew Samuel [obj] Agag to/for face: before LORD in/on/with Gilgal
34 Puis il s'en alla à Rama; et Saül monta en sa maison à Guibbath-Saül.
and to go: went Samuel [the] Ramah [to] and Saul to ascend: rise to(wards) house: home his Gibeah Saul
35 Et Samuel n'alla plus voir Saül jusqu'au jour de sa mort; quoique Samuel eût mené deuil sur Saül, de ce que l'Eternel s'était repenti d'avoir établi Saül pour Roi sur Israël.
and not to add: again Samuel to/for to see: see [obj] Saul till day death his for to mourn Samuel to(wards) Saul and LORD to be sorry: relent for to reign [obj] Saul upon Israel
