1 Rois 22
1 Or on demeura trois ans sans qu'il y eût guerre entre la Syrie et Israël.
And they remained three years there not [was] war between Aram and between Israel.
2 Puis il arriva en la troisième année, que Josaphat Roi de Juda étant descendu vers le Roi d'Israël,
And it was in the year third and he went down Jehoshaphat [the] king of Judah to [the] king of Israel.
3 Le Roi d'Israël dit à ses serviteurs: Ne savez-vous pas bien que Ramoth de Galaad nous appartient, et nous ne nous mettons point en devoir pour la retirer d'entre les mains du Roi de Syrie?
And he said [the] king of Israel to servants his ¿ do you know that [belongs] to us Ramoth Gilead and we [are] inactive from taking it from [the] hand of [the] king of Aram.
4 Puis il dit à Josaphat: Ne viendras-tu pas avec moi à la guerre contre Ramoth de Galaad? Et Josaphat répondit au Roi d'Israël: Fais ton compte de moi comme de toi, et de mon peuple comme de ton peuple, et de mes chevaux comme de tes chevaux.
And he said to Jehoshaphat ¿ will you go with me for battle Ramoth Gilead and he said Jehoshaphat to [the] king of Israel as me as you as people my as people your as horses my as horses your.
5 Josaphat dit encore au Roi d'Israël: Je te prie qu'aujourd'hui tu t'enquières de la parole de l'Eternel.
And he said Jehoshaphat to [the] king of Israel seek please as the day [the] word of Yahweh.
6 Et le Roi d'Israël assembla environ quatre cents Prophètes, auxquels il dit: Irai-je à la guerre contre Ramoth de Galaad, ou m'en éloigne-je? Et ils répondirent: Monte, car le Seigneur la livrera entre les mains du Roi.
And he gathered [the] king of Israel the prophets about four hundred man and he said to them ¿ will I go on Ramoth Gilead for battle or? will I refrain and they said go up so he may give [it] [the] Lord in [the] hand of the king.
7 Mais Josaphat dit: N'y a-t-il point ici encore quelque Prophète de l'Eternel, afin que nous l'interrogions?
And he said Jehoshaphat ¿ [is] there not here a prophet of Yahweh still so we may enquire from him.
8 Et le Roi d'Israël dit à Josaphat: Il y a encore un homme pour s'enquérir de l'Eternel par son moyen, mais je le hais, car il ne prophétise rien de bon, mais du mal, quand il est question de moi: c'est Michée fils de Jimla. Et Josaphat dit: Que le Roi ne parle point ainsi.
And he said [the] king of Israel - to Jehoshaphat still a man one to consult Yahweh from him and I I hate him for not he prophesies on me good that except evil Micaiah [the] son of Imlah and he said Jehoshaphat may not he speak the king thus.
9 Alors le Roi d'Israël appela un Eunuque auquel il dit: Fais venir en diligence Michée fils de Jimla.
And he summoned [the] king of Israel a court-official one and he said bring quickly! Micaiah [the] son of Imlah.
10 Or le Roi d'Israël, et Josaphat Roi de Juda étaient assis chacun sur son trône, revêtus de leurs habits, dans la place, vers l'entrée de la porte de Samarie; et tous les prophètes prophétisaient en leur présence.
And [the] king of Israel and Jehoshaphat [the] king of Judah [were] sitting each on throne his clothed garments at [the] threshing floor [the] entrance of [the] gate of Samaria and all the prophets [were] prophesying before them.
11 Et Tsidkija fils de Kénahana s'étant fait des cornes de fer, dit: Ainsi a dit l'Eternel: De ces cornes-ci tu heurteras les Syriens, jusqu'à les détruire.
And he made for himself Zedekiah [the] son of Kenaanah horns of iron and he said thus he says Yahweh with these you will gore Aram until destroy them.
12 Et tous les Prophètes prophétisaient de même, en disant: Monte à Ramoth de Galaad, et tu réussiras; et l'Eternel la livrera entre les mains du Roi.
And all the prophets [were] prophesying thus saying go up Ramoth Gilead and succeed and he will give [it] Yahweh in [the] hand of the king.
13 Or le messager qui était allé appeler Michée, lui parla, en disant: Voici maintenant, les Prophètes prophétisent tous d'une voix du bonheur au Roi; je te prie que ta parole soit semblable à celle de l'un d'eux, et prophétise lui du bonheur.
And the messenger who he had gone - to summon Micaiah he spoke to him saying here! please [the] words of the prophets a mouth one [is] good to the king let it be please (word your *Q(K)*) like [the] word of one from them and you will speak good.
14 Mais Michée lui répondit: L'Eternel est vivant, que je dirai ce que l'Eternel me dira.
And he said Micaiah [by] [the] life of Yahweh for [that] which he will say Yahweh to me it I will speak.
15 Il vint donc vers le Roi, et le Roi lui dit: Michée, irons-nous à la guerre contre Ramoth de Galaad; ou nous en désisterons-nous? Et il lui répondit: Monte, tu réussiras; et l'Eternel la livrera entre les mains du Roi.
And he came to the king and he said the king to him O Micaiah ¿ will we go against Ramoth Gilead for battle or? will we refrain and he said to him go up and succeed and he will give [it] Yahweh in [the] hand of the king.
16 Et le Roi lui dit: Jusqu'à combien de fois te conjurerai-je, de ne me dire que la vérité au Nom de l'Eternel?
And he said to him the king until how many? times [will] I make swear you that not you must speak to me only truth in [the] name of Yahweh.
17 Et il répondit: J'ai vu tout Israël dispersé par les montagnes, comme un troupeau de brebis qui n'a point de pasteur; et l'Eternel a dit: Ceux-ci sont sans Seigneurs; que chacun s'en retourne dans sa maison en paix.
And he said I saw all Israel scattered to the mountains like flock which not [belongs] to them a shepherd and he said Yahweh not masters [belong] to these let them return each to house his in peace.
18 Alors le Roi d'Israël dit à Josaphat: Ne t'ai-je pas bien dit que quand il est question de moi il ne prophétise rien de bon, mais du mal?
And he said [the] king of Israel to Jehoshaphat ¿ not did I say to you not he prophesies on me good that except evil.
19 Et [Michée] lui dit: Ecoute néanmoins la parole de l'Eternel; J'ai vu l'Eternel assis sur son trône, et toute l'armée des cieux se tenant devant lui, à sa droite et à sa gauche.
And he said therefore hear [the] word of Yahweh I saw Yahweh sitting on throne his and all [the] host of the heavens [was] standing at him from right his and from left his.
20 Et l'Eternel a dit: Qui est-ce qui induira Achab, afin qu'il monte et qu'il tombe en Ramoth de Galaad? et l'un parlait d'une manière, et l'autre d'une autre.
And he said Yahweh who? will he deceive Ahab so he may go up and he may fall at Ramoth Gilead and it said this [one] by thus and this [one] [was] saying by thus.
21 Alors un esprit s'avança, et se tint devant l'Eternel, et dit: Je l'induirai. Et l'Eternel lui dit: Comment?
And it came forth the spirit and it stood before Yahweh and it said I I will deceive him
22 Et il répondit: Je sortirai, et je serai un esprit de mensonge dans la bouche de tous ses Prophètes. Et [l'Eternel]dit: [Oui] tu l'induiras, et même tu en viendras à bout; sors, et fais-le ainsi.
and he said Yahweh to it how? And it said I will go out and I will be a spirit of falsehood in [the] mouth of all prophets his and he said you will deceive and also you will prevail go out and do thus.
23 Maintenant donc voici, l'Eternel a mis un esprit de mensonge dans la bouche de tous ces tiens Prophètes, et l'Eternel a prononcé du mal contre toi.
And therefore here! he has put Yahweh a spirit of falsehood in [the] mouth of all prophets your these and Yahweh he has spoken on you evil.
24 Alors Tsidkija fils de Kénahana s'approcha, et frappa Michée sur la joue, et dit: Par où l'Esprit de l'Eternel s'est-il retiré de moi pour s'adresser à toi?
And he drew near Zedekiah [the] son of Kenaanah and he struck Micaiah on the cheek and he said where? this did it pass on [the] spirit of Yahweh from with me to speak with you.
25 Et Michée répondit: Voici, tu le verras le jour que tu iras de chambre en chambre pour te cacher.
And he said Micaiah there you [are] about to see on the day that when you will go a room in a room to hide yourself.
26 Alors le Roi d'Israël dit: Qu'on prenne Michée, et qu'on le mène vers Amon, capitaine de la ville, et vers Joas le fils du Roi;
And he said [the] king of Israel take Micaiah and take back him to Amon [the] official of the city and to Joash [the] son of the king.
27 Et qu'on leur dise: Ainsi a dit le Roi: Mettez cet homme en prison, et ne lui donnez qu'un peu de pain à manger, et un peu d eau [à boire], jusqu'à ce que je revienne en paix.
And you will say thus he says the king put this [one] [the] house of imprisonment and feed him bread oppression and water oppression until come I in peace.
28 Et Michée répondit: Si jamais tu reviens en paix, l'Eternel n'aura point parlé par moi. Il dit aussi: Entendez cela peuples, vous tous qui êtes ici.
And he said Micaiah certainly [if] you will return in peace not he has spoken Yahweh by me and he said listen O peoples all of them.
29 Le Roi d'Israël donc monta avec Josaphat Roi de Juda contre Ramoth de Galaad.
And he went up [the] king of Israel and Jehoshaphat [the] king of Judah Ramoth Gilead.
30 Et le Roi d'Israël dit à Josaphat: Que je me déguise, et que j'aille à la bataille; mais toi, revêts-toi de tes habits. Le Roi d'Israël donc se déguisa, et alla à la bataille.
And he said [the] king of Israel to Jehoshaphat I will disguise myself and I will go in the battle and you wear own clothes your and he disguised himself [the] king of Israel and he went in the battle.
31 Or le Roi des Syriens avait commandé aux trente-deux capitaines de ses chariots, en disant: Vous ne combattrez contre qui que ce soit petit ou grand, mais contre le seul Roi d'Israël.
And king of Aram he had commanded [the] commanders of the chariotry which [belonged] to him thirty and two saying not you must do battle with [the] small and with [the] great that except with [the] king of Israel to only him.
32 Il arriva donc que dès que les capitaines des chariots eurent vu Josaphat, ils dirent: C'est certainement le Roi d'Israël; et ils se détournèrent vers lui pour le combattre, mais Josaphat s'écria.
And it was when saw [the] commanders of the chariotry Jehoshaphat and they they said surely [is] [the] king of Israel he and they turned aside on him to do battle and he cried out Jehoshaphat.
33 Et sitôt que les capitaines des chariots eurent vu que ce n'était pas le Roi d'Israël, ils se détournèrent de lui.
And it was when saw [the] commanders of the chariotry that not [was] [the] king of Israel he and they turned back from after him.
34 Alors quelqu'un tira de son arc de toute sa force, et frappa le Roi d'Israël entre les tassettes et les harnais; et le Roi dit à son cocher: Tourne ta main, et mène-moi hors du camp; car on m'a fort blessé.
And someone he drew on the bow to innocence his and he struck [the] king of Israel between the joints and between the body armor and he said to charioteer his turn around hand your and take out me from the camp for I have been wounded.
35 Or la bataille fut très-grande en ce jour-là; et le Roi [d'Israël] fut arrêté dans son chariot vis-à-vis des Syriens, et mourut sur le soir; et le sang de sa plaie coulait sur le fond du chariot.
And it went up the battle on the day that and the king he was placed in the chariot opposite to Aram and he died in the evening and it flowed [the] blood of the wound into [the] bottom of the chariot.
36 Et sitôt que le soleil fut couché, on fit crier par le camp, en disant: [que] chacun se retire en sa ville, et chacun en son pays.
And it passed the cry in the camp when went the sun saying everyone to city his and everyone to land his.
37 Le Roi donc mourut, et fut porté à Samarie, et y fut enseveli.
And he died the king and he came Samaria and people buried the king in Samaria.
38 Et on lava le chariot au vivier de Samarie, et les chiens léchèrent son sang, [et aussi quand] on lava ses armes, selon là parole que l'Eternel avait prononcée.
And someone washed off the chariot at - [the] pool of Samaria and they licked up the dogs blood his and the prostitutes they bathed according to [the] word of Yahweh which he had spoken.
39 Le reste des faits d'Achab, tout ce, dis-je, qu'il a fait, et quant à la maison d'ivoire qu'il bâtit, et à toutes les villes qu'il bâtit, toutes ces choses ne sont-elles pas écrites au Livre des Chroniques des Rois d'Israël?
And [the] rest of [the] matters of Ahab and all that he did and [the] house of ivory which he built and all the cities which he built ¿ not [are] they written on [the] scroll of [the] matters of the days of [the] kings of Israel.
40 Ainsi Achab s'endormit avec ses pères, et Achazia son fils régna en sa place.
And he lay down Ahab with ancestors his and he became king Ahaziah son his in place of him.
41 r Josaphat fils d'Asa avait commencé à régner sur Juda la quatrième année d'Achab, Roi d'Israël.
And Jehoshaphat [the] son of Asa he became king over Judah in year four of Ahab [the] king of Israel.
42 Et Josaphat était âgé de trente-cinq ans, quand il commença à régner; et il régna vingt-cinq ans à Jérusalem. Le nom de sa mère était Hazuba, fille de Silhi.
Jehoshaphat [was] a son of thirty and five year[s] when became king he and twenty and five year[s] he reigned in Jerusalem and [the] name of mother his [was] Azubah [the] daughter of Shilhi.
43 Et il suivit entièrement la voie d'Asa son père, [et] il ne s'en détourna point, faisant tout ce qui est droit devant l'Eternel. Toutefois les hauts lieux ne furent point ôtés; le peuple sacrifiait encore et faisait des encensements dans les hauts lieux.
And he walked in all [the] way of Asa father his not he turned aside from it to do the right in [the] eyes of Yahweh. Only the high places not they were removed still the people [were] sacrificing and making smoke at the high places.
44 Josaphat fit aussi la paix avec le Roi d'Israël.
And he made peace Jehoshaphat with [the] king of Israel.
45 Le reste des faits de Josaphat, et les exploits qu'il fit, et les guerres qu'il eut, ne sont-elles pas écrites au Livre des Chroniques des Rois de Juda?
And [the] rest of [the] matters of Jehoshaphat and might his which he did and which he waged war ¿ not [are] they written on [the] scroll of [the] matters of the days of [the] kings of Judah.
46 Quant aux restes des prostitués qui étaient demeurés depuis le temps d'Asa son père, il les extermina du pays.
And [the] rest of the cult prostitute[s] which it remained in [the] days of Asa father his he destroyed from the land.
47 Il n'y avait point alors de Roi en Edom; le Gouverneur était Viceroi.
And [was] a king there not in Edom a deputy [was] king.
48 Josaphat équipa une flotte de Tharsis, pour aller quérir de l'or à Ophir; mais elle n'y alla point, parce que les navires furent brisés à Hetsjon-guéber.
Jehoshaphat (he made *Q(K)*) ships of Tarshish to go Ophir towards for gold and not it went for (they were broken *Q(K)*) [the] ships at Ezion Geber.
49 Alors Achazia fils d'Achab dit à Josaphat: Que mes serviteurs aillent sur les navires avec les tiens; mais Josaphat ne le voulut point.
Then he said Ahaziah [the] son of Ahab to Jehoshaphat let them go servants my with servants your in [the] ships and not he was willing Jehoshaphat.
50 Et Josaphat s'endormit avec ses pères, et fut enseveli avec eux en la Cité de David son père, et Joram son fils régna en sa place.
And he lay down Jehoshaphat with ancestors his and he was buried with ancestors his in [the] city of David ancestor his and he became king Jehoram son his in place of him.
51 Achazia fils d'Achab commença à régner sur Israël à Samarie, la dix-septième année de Josaphat Roi de Juda, et il régna deux ans sur Israël.
Ahaziah [the] son of Ahab he became king over Israel in Samaria in year seven-teen of Jehoshaphat [the] king of Judah and he reigned over Israel two years.
52 Et il fit ce qui déplaît à l'Eternel, et suivit le train de son père, et le train de sa mère, et le train de Jéroboam fils de Nébat, qui avait fait pécher Israël.
And he did the evil in [the] eyes of Yahweh and he walked in [the] way of father his and in [the] way of mother his and in [the] way of Jeroboam [the] son of Nebat who he caused to sin Israel.
53 Il servit Bahal, il se prosterna devant lui, et il irrita l'Eternel le Dieu d'Israël, comme avait fait son père.
And he served Baal and he bowed down to it and he provoked to anger Yahweh [the] God of Israel according to all that he had done father his.
