1 Chroniques 8
1 Or Benjamin engendra Bélah, qui fut son premier-né, Asbel le second, Achrah le troisième,
Now Benjamin begat Bela his firstborn, Ashbel the second, and Aharah the third,
2 Noah le quatrième, et Rapha le cinquième.
Nohah the fourth, and Rapha the fifth.
3 Et les enfants de Bélah furent, Addar, Guéra, Abihud.
And the sons of Bela were, Addar, and Gera, and Abihud,
4 Abisuah, Nahaman, Ahoah,
And Abishua, and Naaman, and Ahoah,
5 Guéra, Séphuphan, et Huram.
And Gera, and Shephuphan, and Huram.
6 Ce sont là les enfants d'Ehud. Ceux-là étaient chefs des pères des habitants de Guéba, qui furent transportés à Manahath.
And these are the sons of Ehud: these are the heads of the fathers of the inhabitants of Geba, and they carried them captive to Manahath:
7 Et Nahaman, et Ahija, et Guéra, qui les transporta; [et] qui après engendra Huza et Ahihud.
And Naaman, and Ahiah, and Gera, he carried them captive, and begat Uzza, and Ahihud.
8 Or Saharajim, après les avoir renvoyés, eut des enfants au pays de Moab, de Husim, et de Bahara ses femmes.
And Shaharaim begat children in the country of Moab, after he had sent them away; Hushim and Baara were his wives.
9 Et il engendra, de Hodés sa femme Jobab, Tsibia, Mesa, Malcam,
And he begat of Hodesh his wife, Jobab, and Zibia, and Mesha, and Malcham,
10 Jehuts, Socja, et Mirma. Ce sont là ses enfants, chefs des pères.
And Jeuz, and Shachia, and Mirma. These were his sons, heads of the father’s houses.
11 Mais de Husim il engendra Abitub, Elpahal.
And of Hushim he begat Abitub, and Elpaal.
12 Et les enfants d'Elpahal furent Héber, Misham, et Semed, qui bâtit Onò, et Lod, et les villes de son ressort.
The sons of Elpaal; Eber, and Misham, and Shamed, who built Ono, and Lod, with its towns:
13 Et Bériha et Sémah furent chefs des pères des habitants d'Ajalon; ils mirent en fuite les habitants de Gath.
Beriah also, and Shema, who were heads of the fathers of the inhabitants of Aijalon, who drove away the inhabitants of Gath:
14 Et Ahio, Sasak, Jérémoth,
And Ahio, Shashak, and Jeremoth,
15 Zébadia, Harad, Héder,

16 Micaël, Jispa, et Joha, enfants de Bériha.
And Michael, and Ispah, and Joha, the sons of Beriah;

20 Elihenaï, Tsillethaï, Eliël,
And Elienai, and Zilthai, and Eliel,
21 Hadaja, Beraja, et Simrath, enfants de Simhi.
And Adaiah, and Beraiah, and Shimrath, the sons of Shimhi;
22 Et Jispan, Héber, Eliël,
And Ishpan, and Heber, and Eliel,
23 Habdon, Zicri, Hanan,
And Abdon, and Zichri, and Hanan,
24 Hananja, Hélam, Hantothija,
And Hananiah, and Elam, and Antothijah,
25 Jiphdeja et Pénuël, enfants de Sasak.
And Iphedeiah, and Penuel, the sons of Shashak;
26 Et Samseraï, Seharia, Hathalija,
And Shamsherai, and Shehariah, and Athaliah,
27 Jaharésia, Elija, et Zicri, enfants de Jéroham.
And Jaresiah, and Eliah, and Zichri, the sons of Jeroham.
28 Ce sont là les chefs des pères selon les générations qui furent chefs; et ils habitèrent à Jérusalem.
These were heads of the father’s houses, by their generations, chief men. These dwelt in Jerusalem.
29 Et le père de Gabaon habita à Gabaon, sa femme avait nom Mahaca.
And at Gibeon dwelt the father of Gibeon; whose wife’s name was Maachah:
30 Et son fils premier-né fut Habdon, puis Tsur, Kis, Bahal, Nadab,
And his firstborn son Abdon, and Zur, and Kish, and Baal, and Nadab,
31 Guédor, Ahio, et Zeker.
And Gedor, and Ahio, and Zacher.
32 Et Mikloth engendra Siméa. Ils habitèrent aussi vis-à-vis de leurs frères à Jérusalem, avec leurs frères.
And Mikloth begat Shimeah. And these also dwelt with their brethren in Jerusalem, opposite them.
33 Et Ner engendra Kis, et Kis engendra Saül, et Saül engendra Jonathan, Malki-suah, Abinadab, et Esbahal.
And Ner begat Kish, and Kish begat Saul, and Saul begat Jonathan, and Malchishua, and Abinadab, and Eshbaal.
34 Le fils de Jonathan fut Mérib-bahal; et Mérib-bahal engendra Mica.
And the son of Jonathan was Meribbaal; and Meribbaal begat Micah.
35 Et les enfants de Mica furent, Pithon, Mélec, Taréah, et Achaz.
And the sons of Micah were, Pithon, and Melech, and Tarea, and Ahaz.
36 Et Achaz engendra Jéhohadda; et Jéhohadda engendra Halemeth, Hasmaveth, et Zimri; et Zimri engendra Motsa.
And Ahaz begat Jehoadah; and Jehoadah begat Alemeth, and Azmaveth, and Zimri; and Zimri begat Moza,
37 Et Motsa engendra Binha, qui eut pour fils Rapha, qui eut pour fils Elhasa, qui eut pour fils Atsel.
And Moza begat Binea: Rapha was his son, Eleasah his son, Azel his son:
38 Et Atsel eut six fils, dont les noms sont, Hazrikam, Bocru, Ismaël, Séharia, Hobadia, et Hanan; tous ceux-là furent enfants d'Atsel.
And Azel had six sons, whose names are these, Azrikam, Bocheru, and Ishmael, and Sheariah, and Obadiah, and Hanan. All these were the sons of Azel.
39 Et les enfants de Hesek son frère furent, Ulam son premier-né, Jéhu le second, Eliphelet le troisième.
And the sons of Eshek his brother were, Ulam his firstborn, Jehush the second, and Eliphelet the third.
40 Et les enfants d'Ulam furent des hommes forts et vaillants, tirant bien de l'arc, et ils eurent beaucoup de fils et de petits-fils, jusqu'à cent cinquante; tous des enfants de Benjamin.
And the sons of Ulam were mighty men of valour, archers, and had many sons, and sons’ sons, an hundred and fifty. All these are of the sons of Benjamin.
