1 Chroniques 27
1 Or quant aux enfants d'Israël, selon leur dénombrement, il y avait des Chefs de pères, des Gouverneurs de milliers et de centaines, et leurs prévôts, qui servaient le Roi selon tout l'état des départements, dont l'un entrait, et l'autre sortait, de mois en mois, durant tous les mois de l'année; et chaque département était de vingt et quatre mille hommes.
Now the sons of Israel according to their number, heads of families, captains of thousands and captains of hundreds, and scribes ministering to the king, and for every affair of the king according to [their] divisions, [for] every ordinance of coming in and going out monthly, for all the months of the year, one division of them [was] twenty-four thousand.
2 Et Jasobham fils de Zabdiël [présidait] sur le premier département, pour le premier mois; et dans son département il y avait vingt et quatre mille hommes.
And over the first division of the first month [was] Isboaz the son of Zabdiel: in his division [were] twenty-four thousand.
3 Il était des enfants de Pharés, Chef de tous les capitaines de l'armée du premier mois.
Of the sons of Tharez [one] was chief of all the captains of the host for the first month.
4 Dodaï Ahohite [présidait] sur le département du second mois, ayant Mikloth pour Lieutenant en son département; et dans son département il y avait vingt et quatre mille hommes.
And over the division of the second month [was] Dodia the son of Ecchoc, and over his division [was] Makelloth also chief: and in his division [were] twenty and four thousand, chief men of the host.
5 Le Chef de la troisième armée pour le troisième mois, était Bénaja fils de Jéhojadah Sacrificateur, [et capitaine en] Chef; et dans son département il y avait vingt et quatre mille hommes.
The third for the third month [was] Banaias the son of Jodae the chief priest: and in his division [were] twenty and four thousand.
6 C'est ce Bénaja qui était fort entre les trente, et par dessus les trente; et Hammizabad son fils était dans son département.
This Banaeas [was] more mighty than the thirty, and over the thirty: and Zabad his son [was] over his division.
7 Le quatrième pour le quatrième mois était Hazaël frère de Joab, et Zébadia son fils, après lui; et il y avait dans son département vingt et quatre mille hommes.
The fourth for the fourth month [was] Asael the brother of Joab, and Zabadias his son, and his brethren: and in his division [were] twenty and four thousand.
8 Le cinquième pour le cinquième mois était le capitaine Samhuth de Jizrah; et dans son département il y avait vingt et quatre mille hommes.
The fifth chief for the fifth month [was] Samaoth the Jezraite: and in his division [were] twenty and four thousand.
9 Le sixième pour le sixième mois était Hira fils d'Hikkés Tékohite; et dans son département il y avait vingt et quatre mille hommes.
The sixth for the sixth month [was] Hoduias the son of Ekkes the Thecoite: and in his division [were] twenty and four thousand.
10 Le septième pour le septième mois était Hélets Pélonite, des enfants d'Ephraïm; et il y avait dans son département vingt et quatre mille hommes.
The seventh for the seventh month [was] Chelles of Phallus of the children of Ephraim: and in his division [were] twenty and four thousand.
11 Le huitième pour le huitième mois était Sibbecaï Husathite, [de la famille] des Zarhites; et il y avait dans son département vingt et quatre mille hommes.
The eighth for the eighth month [was] Sobochai the Usathite, [belonging] to Zarai: and in his division [were] twenty and four thousand.
12 Le neuvième pour le neuvième mois était Abihézer Hanathothite, des Benjamites; et il y avait dans son département vingt et quatre mille hommes.
The ninth for the ninth month [was] Abiezer of Anathoth, of the land of Benjamin: and in his division [were] twenty and four thousand.
13 Le dixième pour le dixième mois [était] Naharaï Nétophathite, [de la famille] des Zarhites; et il y avait dans son département vingt et quatre mille hommes.
The tenth for the tenth month [was] Meera the Netophathite, [belonging] to Zarai: and in his division [were] twenty and four thousand.
14 L'onzième pour l'onzième mois [était] Bénaja Pirhathonite, des enfants d'Ephraïm; et il y avait dans son département vingt et quatre mille hommes.
The eleventh for the eleventh month [was] Banaias of Pharathon, of the sons of Ephraim: and in his division [were] twenty and four thousand.
15 Le douzième pour le douzième mois était Heldaï Nétophathite, [appartenant] à Hothniël; et il y avait dans son département vingt et quatre mille hommes.
The twelfth for the twelfth month [was] Choldia the Netophathite, [belonging] to Gothoniel: and in his division [were] twenty and four thousand.
16 Et [ceux-ci présidaient] sur les Tribus d'Israël; Elihézer fils de Zicri était le conducteur des Rubénites. Des Siméonites, Séphatia fils de Mahaca.
And over the tribes of Israel, the chief for Ruben [was] Eliezer the son of Zechri: for Symeon, Saphatias the son of Maacha:
17 Des Lévites, Hasabia fils de Kémuël. De ceux d'Aaron, Tsadoc.
for Levi, Asabias the son of Camuel: for Aaron, Sadoc:
18 De Juda, Elihu, qui était des frères de David. De ceux d'Issacar, Homri fils de Micaël.
for Juda, Eliab of the brethren of David: for Issachar, Ambri the son of Michael:
19 De ceux de Zabulon, Jismahia, fils de Hobadia. De ceux de Nephthali, Jérimoth fils de Hazriël.
for Zabulon, Samaeas the son of Abdiu: for Nephthali, Jerimoth the son of Oziel:
20 Des enfants d'Ephraïm, Hosée fils de Hazazia. De la demi-Tribu de Manassé, Joël fils de Pédaja.
for Ephraim, Ose the son of Ozia: for the half-tribe of Manasse, Joel the son of Phadaea:
21 De l'autre demi-Tribu de Manassé en Galaad, Jiddo fils de Zacharie. De ceux de Benjamin, Jahasiël fils d'Abner.
for the half-tribe of Manasse in the land of Galaad, Jadai the son of Zadaeas, for the sons of Benjamin, Jasiel the son of Abenner:
22 De ceux de Dan, Hazaréël fils de Jéroham. Ce sont là les principaux des Tribus d'Israël.
for Dan, Azariel the son of Iroab: these [are] the chiefs of the tribes of Israel.
23 Mais David ne fit point le dénombrement des Israélites, depuis l'âge de vingt ans et au dessous; parce que l'Eternel avait dit qu'il multiplierait Israël comme les étoiles du ciel.
But David took not their number from twenty years old and under: because the Lord said that he would multiply Israel as the stars of the heaven.
24 Joab fils de Tséruiä avait bien commencé à en faire le dénombrement, mais il n'acheva pas, parce que l'indignation de Dieu s'était répandue à cause de cela sur Israël; c'est pourquoi ce dénombrement ne fut point mis parmi les dénombrements enregistrés dans les Chroniques du Roi David.
And Joab the son of Saruia began to number the people, and did not finish the work, for there was hereupon wrath on Israel; and the number was not recorded in the book of the chronicles of king David.
25 Or Hazmaveth fils d'Hadiël était commis sur les finances du Roi; mais Jonathan fils d'Huzija était commis sur les finances qui étaient à la campagne, dans les villes et aux villages et aux châteaux.
And over the king's treasures [was] Asmoth the son of Odiel; and over the treasures in the country, and in the towns, and in the villages, and in the towers, [was] Jonathan the son of Ozia.
26 Et Hezri, fils de Kélub, était commis sur ceux qui travaillaient dans la campagne au labourage de la terre.
And over the husbandmen who tilled the ground [was] Esdri the son of Chelub.
27 Et Simhi Ramathite sur les vignes, et Zabdi Siphmien sur ce qui provenait des vignes, et sur les celliers du vin.
And over the fields [was] Semei of Rael; and over the treasures of wine in the fields [was] Zabdi the son of Sephni.
28 Et Bahal-hanan Guéderite sur les oliviers, et sur les figuiers qui étaient en la campagne; et Johas sur les celliers à huile.
And over the olive yards, and over the sycamores in the plain country [was] Ballanan the Gedorite; and over the stores of oil [was] Joas.
29 Et Sitraï Saronite, était commis sur le gros bétail qui paissait en Saron; et Saphat fils de Hadlaï sur le gros bétail qui paissait dans les vallées.
And over the oxen pasturing in Saron [was] Satrai the Saronite; and over the oxen in the valleys [was] Sophat the son of Adli.
30 Et Obil Ismaëlite sur les chameaux; Jéhdeja Méronothite, sur les ânesses.
And over the camels [was] Abias the Ismaelite; and over the asses [was] Jadias of Merathon.
31 Et Jaziz Hagarénien sur les troupeaux du menu bétail. Tous ceux-là avaient la charge du bétail qui appartenait au Roi David.
And over the sheep [was] Jaziz the Agarite. All these [were] superintendents of the substance of king David.
32 Mais Jonathan, oncle de David, était conseiller, homme fort intelligent et scribe, et Jéhiël fils de Hacmoni était avec les enfants du Roi.
And Jonathan, David's uncle by the father's side, [was] a counsellor, a wise man: and Jeel the son of Achami [was] with the king's sons.
33 Et Achitophel était le conseiller du Roi; et Cusaï Arkite était l'intime ami du Roi.
Achitophel [was] the king's counsellor: and Chusi the chief friend of the king.
34 Après Achitophel était Jéhojadah fils de Bénaja et Abiathar; et Joab était le Général de l'armée du Roi.
And after this Achitophel Jodae the son of Banaeas [came] next, and Abiathar: and Joab [was] the king's commander-in-chief.
