1 Chroniques 26
1 Et quant aux départements des portiers; il y eut pour les Corites, Mésélémia fils de Coré, d'entre les enfants d'Asaph.
Concerning the divisions of the porters: Of the Korhites was Meshelemiah the son of Kore, of the sons of Asaph.
2 Et les enfants de Mésélémia furent, Zacharie le premier-né; Jédihaël le second; Zébadia le troisième; Jathniël le quatrième,
And the sons of Meshelemiah were, Zechariah the firstborn, Jediael the second, Zebadiah the third, Jathniel the fourth,
3 Hélam le cinquième, Johanum le sixième; Eliehohenaï le septième.
Elam the fifth, Jehohanan the sixth, Elioenai the seventh.
4 Et les enfants de Hobed-Edom furent, Sémahja le premier-né, Jéhozabad le second, Joah le troisième, Sacar le quatrième, Nathanaël le cinquième,
Moreover the sons of Obededom were, Shemaiah the firstborn, Jehozabad the second, Joah the third, and Sacar the fourth, and Nethaneel the fifth.
5 Hammiel le sixième, Issacar le septième, Pehulletaï le huitième; car Dieu l'avait béni.
Ammiel the sixth, Issachar the seventh, Peulthai the eighth: for God blessed him.
6 Et à Sémahja son fils naquirent des enfants, qui eurent le commandement sur la maison de leur père, parce qu'ils étaient hommes forts et vaillants.
Also unto Shemaiah his son were sons born, that ruled throughout the house of their father: for they were mighty men of valour.
7 Les enfants donc de Sémahja furent, Hothni, et Réphaël, Hobed, et Elzabad, ses frères, hommes vaillants, Elihu et Sémacia.
The sons of Shemaiah; Othni, and Rephael, and Obed, Elzabad, whose brethren were strong men, Elihu, and Semachiah.
8 Tous ceux-là étaient des enfants d'Hobed-Edom, eux et leurs fils, et leurs frères, hommes vaillants, et forts pour le service; ils étaient soixante-deux d'Hobed-Edom.
All these of the sons of Obededom: they and their sons and their brethren, able men for strength for the service, were threescore and two of Obededom.
9 Et les enfants de Mésélémia avec ses frères étaient dix-huit, vaillants hommes.
And Meshelemiah had sons and brethren, strong men, eighteen.
10 Et les enfants de Hoza, d'entre les enfants de Mérari, furent Simri le Chef; car quoiqu'il ne fût pas l'aîné, néanmoins son père l'établit pour Chef.
Also Hosah, of the children of Merari, had sons; Simri the chief, (for though he was not the firstborn, yet his father made him the chief; )
11 Hilkija était le second, Tebalia le troisième, Zacharie le quatrième; tous les enfants et frères de Hoza furent treize.
Hilkiah the second, Tebaliah the third, Zechariah the fourth: all the sons and brethren of Hosah were thirteen.
12 On fit à ceux-là les départements des portiers, en sorte que les charges furent distribuées aux Chefs de famille, en égalant les uns aux autres, afin qu'ils servissent dans la maison de l'Eternel.
Among these were the divisions of the porters, even among the chief men, having wards one against another, to minister in the house of the LORD.
13 Car ils jetèrent les sorts autant pour le plus petit que pour le plus grand, selon leurs familles, pour chaque porte.
And they cast lots, as well the small as the great, according to the house of their fathers, for every gate.
14 Et ainsi le sort [pour la porte] vers l'Orient échut à Sélémia. Puis on jeta le sort pour Zacharie son fils, sage conseiller, et son sort échut [pour la porte] vers le Septentrion.
And the lot eastward fell to Shelemiah. Then for Zechariah his son, a wise counsellor, they cast lots; and his lot came out northward.
15 Le sort d'Hobed-Edom échut [pour la porte] vers le Midi, et la maison des assemblées échut à ses fils.
To Obededom southward; and to his sons the house of Asuppim.
16 A Suppim et à Hosa [pour la porte] vers l'Occident, auprès de la porte de Salleketh, au chemin montant; une garde [étant] vis-à-vis de l'autre.
To Shuppim and Hosah the lot came forth westward, with the gate Shallecheth, by the causeway of the going up, ward against ward.
17 Il y avait vers l'Orient, six Lévites; vers le Septentrion, quatre par jour; vers le Midi, quatre aussi par jour; et vers [la maison] des assemblées deux de chaque côté.
Eastward were six Levites, northward four a day, southward four a day, and toward Asuppim two and two.
18 A Parbar vers l'Occident, il y en avait quatre au chemin, [et] deux à Parbar.
At Parbar westward, four at the causeway, and two at Parbar.
19 Ce sont là les départements des portiers pour les enfants des Corites, et pour les enfants de Mérari.
These are the divisions of the porters among the sons of Kore, and among the sons of Merari.
20 Ceux-ci aussi étaient Lévites; Ahija commis sur les trésors de la maison de Dieu, et sur les trésors des choses consacrées.
And of the Levites, Ahijah was over the treasures of the house of God, and over the treasures of the dedicated things.
21 Des enfants de Lahdan, qui étaient d'entre les enfants des Guersonites; du côté de Lahdan, d'entre les Chefs des pères appartenant à Lahdan Guersonite, Jéhiëli.
As concerning the sons of Laadan; the sons of the Gershonite Laadan, chief fathers, even of Laadan the Gershonite, were Jehieli.
22 D'entre les enfants de Jéhiëli, Zétham, et Joël son frère, commis sur les trésors de la maison de l'Eternel.
The sons of Jehieli; Zetham, and Joel his brother, which were over the treasures of the house of the LORD.
23 Pour les Hamramites, Jitsharites, Hébronites, et Hoziëlites.
Of the Amramites, and the Izharites, the Hebronites, and the Uzzielites:
24 Et Sébuël fils de Guersom, fils de Moïse, était commis sur les autres trésors.
And Shebuel the son of Gershom, the son of Moses, was ruler of the treasures.
25 Et quant à ses frères du côté d'Elihézer, dont Réhabia fut fils, qui eut pour fils Esaïe, qui eut pour fils Joram, qui eut pour fils Zicri, qui eut pour fils Sélomith.
And his brethren by Eliezer; Rehabiah his son, and Jeshaiah his son, and Joram his son, and Zichri his son, and Shelomith his son.
26 Ce Sélomith et ses frères furent commis sur les trésors des choses saintes que le Roi David, les Chefs des pères, les Gouverneurs de milliers, et de centaines; et les Capitaines de l'armée avaient consacrées;
Which Shelomith and his brethren were over all the treasures of the dedicated things, which David the king, and the chief fathers, the captains over thousands and hundreds, and the captains of the host, had dedicated.
27 Qu'ils avaient, dis-je, consacrées des batailles et des dépouilles, pour le bâtiment de la maison de l'Eternel.
Out of the spoils won in battles did they dedicate to maintain the house of the LORD.
28 Et tout ce qu'avait consacré Samuël le voyant, et Saül fils de Kis, et Abner fils de Ner, et Joab fils de Tséruïa; tout ce, enfin, qu'on consacrait, était mis entre les mains de Sélomith et de ses frères.
And all that Samuel the seer, and Saul the son of Kish, and Abner the son of Ner, and Joab the son of Zeruiah, had dedicated; and whosoever had dedicated any thing, it was under the hand of Shelomith, and of his brethren.
29 D'entre les Jitsharites, Kénania et ses fils [étaient employés] aux affaires de dehors sur Israël, pour être prévôts et juges.
Of the Izharites, Chenaniah and his sons were for the outward business over Israel, for officers and judges.
30 Quant aux Hébronites, Hasabia et ses frères, hommes vaillants, au nombre de mille sept cents, [présidaient] sur le gouvernement d'Israël au deçà du Jourdain, vers l'Occident, pour tout ce qui concernait l'Eternel, et pour le service du Roi.
And of the Hebronites, Hashabiah and his brethren, men of valour, a thousand and seven hundred, were officers among them of Israel on this side Jordan westward in all the business of the LORD, and in the service of the king.
31 Quant aux Hébronites, selon leurs générations dans les familles des pères, Jérija fut le Chef des Hébronites. On en fit la recherche en la quarantième année du règne de David, et on trouva parmi eux à Jahzer de Galaad des hommes forts et vaillants.
Among the Hebronites was Jerijah the chief, even among the Hebronites, according to the generations of his fathers. In the fortieth year of the reign of David they were sought for, and there were found among them mighty men of valour at Jazer of Gilead.
32 Les frères donc de [Jérija], hommes vaillants, furent deux mille sept cents, issus des Chefs des pères; et le Roi David les établit sur les Rubénites, sur les Gadites, et sur la demi-Tribu de Manassé, pour tout ce qui concernait Dieu, et pour les affaires du Roi.
And his brethren, men of valour, were two thousand and seven hundred chief fathers, whom king David made rulers over the Reubenites, the Gadites, and the half tribe of Manasseh, for every matter pertaining to God, and affairs of the king.
