Psaumes 145
1 Louange. De David. Je t’exalterai, ô mon Dieu, mon roi! Et je bénirai ton nom à toujours et à perpétuité.
A Psalme of David of Praise. O my God and King, I will extold thee, and will blesse thy Name for euer and euer.
2 Chaque jour je te bénirai, Et je célébrerai ton nom à toujours et à perpétuité.
I will blesse thee dayly, and prayse thy Name for euer and euer.
3 L’Éternel est grand et très digne de louange, Et sa grandeur est insondable.
Great is the Lord, and most worthy to be praysed, and his greatnes is incomprehensible.
4 Que chaque génération célèbre tes œuvres, Et publie tes hauts faits!
Generation shall praise thy works vnto generation, and declare thy power.
5 Je dirai la splendeur glorieuse de ta majesté; Je chanterai tes merveilles.
I wil meditate of the beautie of thy glorious maiestie, and thy wonderfull workes,
6 On parlera de ta puissance redoutable, Et je raconterai ta grandeur.
And they shall speake of the power of thy fearefull actes, and I will declare thy greatnes.
7 Qu’on proclame le souvenir de ton immense bonté, Et qu’on célèbre ta justice!
They shall breake out into the mention of thy great goodnes, and shall sing aloude of thy righteousnesse.
8 L’Éternel est miséricordieux et compatissant, Lent à la colère et plein de bonté.
The Lord is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great mercie.
9 L’Éternel est bon envers tous, Et ses compassions s’étendent sur toutes ses œuvres.
The Lord is good to all, and his mercies are ouer all his workes.
10 Toutes tes œuvres te loueront, ô Éternel! Et tes fidèles te béniront.
All thy workes prayse thee, O Lord, and thy Saints blesse thee.
11 Ils diront la gloire de ton règne, Et ils proclameront ta puissance,
They shewe the glory of thy kingdome, and speake of thy power,
12 Pour faire connaître aux fils de l’homme ta puissance Et la splendeur glorieuse de ton règne.
To cause his power to be knowen to the sonnes of men, and the glorious renoume of his kingdome.
13 Ton règne est un règne de tous les siècles, Et ta domination subsiste dans tous les âges.
Thy kingdome is an euerlasting kingdome, and thy dominion endureth throughout all ages.
14 L’Éternel soutient tous ceux qui tombent, Et il redresse tous ceux qui sont courbés.
The Lord vpholdeth all that fall, and lifteth vp all that are ready to fall.
15 Les yeux de tous espèrent en toi, Et tu leur donnes la nourriture en son temps.
The eyes of all waite vpon thee, and thou giuest them their meate in due season.
16 Tu ouvres ta main, Et tu rassasies à souhait tout ce qui a vie.
Thou openest thine hand, and fillest all things liuing of thy good pleasure.
17 L’Éternel est juste dans toutes ses voies, Et miséricordieux dans toutes ses œuvres.
The Lord is righteous in all his wayes, and holy in all his workes.
18 L’Éternel est près de tous ceux qui l’invoquent, De tous ceux qui l’invoquent avec sincérité;
The Lord is neere vnto all that call vpon him: yea, to all that call vpon him in trueth.
19 Il accomplit les désirs de ceux qui le craignent, Il entend leur cri et il les sauve.
He wil fulfill the desire of them that feare him: he also wil heare their cry, and wil saue them.
20 L’Éternel garde tous ceux qui l’aiment, Et il détruit tous les méchants.
The Lord preserueth all them that loue him: but he will destroy all the wicked.
21 Que ma bouche publie la louange de l’Éternel, Et que toute chair bénisse son saint nom, A toujours et à perpétuité!
My mouth shall speake the prayse of the Lord, and all flesh shall blesse his holy Name for euer and euer.
