Genèse 7
1 L’Éternel dit à Noé: Entre dans l’arche, toi et toute ta maison; car je t’ai vu juste devant moi parmi cette génération.
And he said Yahweh to Noah go you and all household your into the ark for you I have seen righteous before me in the generation this.
2 Tu prendras auprès de toi sept couples de tous les animaux purs, le mâle et sa femelle; une paire des animaux qui ne sont pas purs, le mâle et sa femelle;
Of all - the livestock clean you will take for yourself seven seven a male and female its and of the animal[s] which not [is] clean it two a male and female its.
3 sept couples aussi des oiseaux du ciel, mâle et femelle, afin de conserver leur race en vie sur la face de toute la terre.
Also of [the] bird[s] of the heavens seven seven male and female to preserve alive offspring on [the] surface of all the earth.
4 Car, encore sept jours, et je ferai pleuvoir sur la terre quarante jours et quarante nuits, et j’exterminerai de la face de la terre tous les êtres que j’ai faits.
For to days yet seven I [am] about to bring rain on the earth forty day[s] and forty night[s] and I will wipe all the existence which I have made from on [the] surface of the ground.
5 Noé exécuta tout ce que l’Éternel lui avait ordonné.
And he did Noah according to all that he commanded him Yahweh.
6 Noé avait six cents ans, lorsque le déluge d’eaux fut sur la terre.
And Noah [was] a son of six hundred year[s] and the flood was water on the earth.
7 Et Noé entra dans l’arche avec ses fils, sa femme et les femmes de ses fils, pour échapper aux eaux du déluge.
And he went Noah and sons his and wife his and [the] wives of sons his with him into the ark because of [the] waters of the flood.
8 D’entre les animaux purs et les animaux qui ne sont pas purs, les oiseaux et tout ce qui se meut sur la terre,
Of the animal[s] clean and of the animal[s] which not [was] it clean and of the bird[s] and all that [was] creeping on the ground.
9 il entra dans l’arche auprès de Noé, deux à deux, un mâle et une femelle, comme Dieu l’avait ordonné à Noé.
Two two they came to Noah into the ark male and female just as he had commanded God Noah.
10 Sept jours après, les eaux du déluge furent sur la terre.
And it was to [the] seven the days and [the] waters of the flood they were on the earth.
11 L’an six cent de la vie de Noé, le second mois, le dix-septième jour du mois, en ce jour-là toutes les sources du grand abîme jaillirent, et les écluses des cieux s’ouvrirent.
In year six hundred year of [the] life of Noah in the month second on [the] seven-teen day of the month on the day this they were split open all [the] springs of [the] deep great and [the] floodgates of the heavens they were opened.
12 La pluie tomba sur la terre quarante jours et quarante nuits.
And it was the rain on the earth forty day[s] and forty night[s].
13 Ce même jour entrèrent dans l’arche Noé, Sem, Cham et Japhet, fils de Noé, la femme de Noé et les trois femmes de ses fils avec eux:
On [the] substance of the day this he went Noah and Shem and Ham and Japheth [the] sons of Noah and [the] wife of Noah and [the] three [the] wives of sons his with them into the ark.
14 eux, et tous les animaux selon leur espèce, tout le bétail selon son espèce, tous les reptiles qui rampent sur la terre selon leur espèce, tous les oiseaux selon leur espèce, tous les petits oiseaux, tout ce qui a des ailes.
They and every animal to kind its and all the livestock to kind its and every creeping thing which creeps on the earth to kind its and every bird to kind its every bird every wing.
15 Ils entrèrent dans l’arche auprès de Noé, deux à deux, de toute chair ayant souffle de vie.
And they came to Noah into the ark two two of all flesh which [was] in it [the] breath of life.
16 Il en entra, mâle et femelle, de toute chair, comme Dieu l’avait ordonné à Noé. Puis l’Éternel ferma la porte sur lui.
And those [which] came male and female of all flesh they came just as he had commanded him God and he closed Yahweh behind him.
17 Le déluge fut quarante jours sur la terre. Les eaux crûrent et soulevèrent l’arche, et elle s’éleva au-dessus de la terre.
And it was the flood forty day[s] on the earth and they increased the waters and they lifted the ark and it rose from on the earth.
18 Les eaux grossirent et s’accrurent beaucoup sur la terre, et l’arche flotta sur la surface des eaux.
And they increased the waters and they increased exceedingly on the earth and it went the ark on [the] surface of the waters.
19 Les eaux grossirent de plus en plus, et toutes les hautes montagnes qui sont sous le ciel entier furent couvertes.
And the waters they increased exceedingly exceedingly on the earth and they were covered all the mountains high which [were] under all the heavens.
20 Les eaux s’élevèrent de quinze coudées au-dessus des montagnes, qui furent couvertes.
Fif-teen cubit[s] from to above they increased the waters and they were covered the mountains.
21 Tout ce qui se mouvait sur la terre périt, tant les oiseaux que le bétail et les animaux, tout ce qui rampait sur la terre, et tous les hommes.
And it died all flesh - which crept on the earth among the bird[s] and among the livestock and among the animal[s] and among every swarming thing which swarms on the earth and every human.
22 Tout ce qui avait respiration, souffle de vie dans ses narines, et qui était sur la terre sèche, mourut.
All that [the] breath of [the] breath of life [was] in nostrils its from all that [was] on the dry ground they died.
23 Tous les êtres qui étaient sur la face de la terre furent exterminés, depuis l’homme jusqu’au bétail, aux reptiles et aux oiseaux du ciel: ils furent exterminés de la terre. Il ne resta que Noé, et ce qui était avec lui dans l’arche.
And he wiped out all the existence - which - [was] on [the] surface of the ground from humankind unto animal[s] unto creeping thing[s] and unto [the] bird[s] of the heavens and they were wiped out from the earth and he was left only Noah and which [were] with him in the ark.
24 Les eaux furent grosses sur la terre pendant cent cinquante jours.
And they increased the waters on the earth fifty and one hundred day[s].
