1 Chroniques 27
1 Enfants d’Israël selon leur nombre, chefs de maisons paternelles, chefs de milliers et de centaines, et officiers au service du roi pour tout ce qui concernait les divisions, leur arrivée et leur départ, mois par mois, pendant tous les mois de l’année, chaque division étant de vingt-quatre mille hommes.
And [these are] the children of Israel after their number; [to wit, ] the chiefs of the family divisions and the captains of the thousands and the hundreds, and their officers that served the king in every matter of the divisions, that came in and went out month by month, throughout all the months of the year, every division being twenty and four thousand.
2 A la tête de la première division, pour le premier mois, était Jaschobeam, fils de Zabdiel; et il avait une division de vingt-quatre mille hommes.
Over the first division for the first month was Jashob'am the son of Zabdiel; and in his division were twenty and four thousand.
3 Il était des fils de Pérets, et il commandait tous les chefs des troupes du premier mois.
[He] of the children of Perez was the chief of all the captains of the armies for the first month.
4 A la tête de la division du second mois était Dodaï, l’Achochite; Mikloth était l’un des chefs de sa division; et il avait une division de vingt-quatre mille hommes.
And over the division of the second month was Dodai the Achochite, and of his division was Mikloth also the ruler; and in his division were twenty and four thousand.
5 Le chef de la troisième division, pour le troisième mois, était Benaja, fils du sacrificateur Jehojada, chef; et il avait une division de vingt-quatre mille hommes.
The third captain of the army for the third month was Benayahu the son of Jehoyada', the priest, the chief; and in his division were twenty and four thousand.
6 Ce Benaja était un héros parmi les trente et à la tête des trente; et Ammizadab, son fils, était l’un des chefs de sa division.
This Benayahu was the mighty among the thirty, and [set] over the thirty'; and of his division was 'Ammizabad his son.
7 Le quatrième, pour le quatrième mois, était Asaël, frère de Joab, et, après lui, Zebadia, son fils; et il avait une division de vingt-quatre mille hommes.
The fourth for the fourth month was 'Assahel the brother of Joab, with Zebadyah his son after him; and in his division were twenty and four thousand.
8 Le cinquième, pour le cinquième mois, était le chef Schamehuth, le Jizrachite; et il avait une division de vingt-quatre mille hommes.
The fifth for the fifth month was the captain Shamhuth the Yizrachite; and in his division were twenty and four thousand.
9 Le sixième, pour le sixième mois, était Ira, fils d’Ikkesch, le Tekoïte; et il avait une division de vingt-quatre mille hommes.
The sixth for the sixth month was 'Ira the son of 'Ikkesh the Theko'ite; and in his division were twenty and four thousand.
10 Le septième, pour le septième mois, était Hélets, le Pelonite, des fils d’Éphraïm; et il avait une division de vingt-quatre mille hommes.
The seventh for the seventh month was Chelez the Pelonite, of the children of Ephraim; and in his division were twenty and four thousand.
11 Le huitième, pour le huitième mois, était Sibbecaï, le Huschatite, de la famille des Zérachites; et il avait une division de vingt-quatre mille hommes.
The eighth for the eighth month was Sibbechai the Chushathite, of the Zarchites: and in his division were twenty and four thousand.
12 Le neuvième, pour le neuvième mois, était Abiézer, d’Anathoth, des Benjamites; et il avait une division de vingt-quatre mille hommes.
The ninth for the ninth month was Abi'ezer the 'Anthothite, of Benjamin; and in his division were twenty and four thousand.
13 Le dixième, pour le dixième mois, était Maharaï, de Nethopha, de la famille des Zérachites; et il avait une division de vingt-quatre mille hommes.
The tenth for the tenth month was Maharai the Netophathite, of the Zarchites; and in his division were twenty and four thousand.
14 Le onzième, pour le onzième mois, était Benaja, de Pirathon, des fils d’Éphraïm; et il avait une division de vingt-quatre mille hommes.
The eleventh for the eleventh month was Benayah the Pir'athonite, of the children of Ephraim; and in his division were twenty and four thousand.
15 Le douzième, pour le douzième mois, était Heldaï, de Nethopha, de la famille d’Othniel; et il avait une division de vingt-quatre mille hommes.
The twelfth for the twelfth month was Cheldai the Netophathite, of 'Othniel; and in his division were twenty and four thousand.
16 Voici les chefs des tribus d’Israël. Chef des Rubénites: Éliézer, fils de Zicri; des Siméonites: Schephathia, fils de Maaca;
Moreover over the tribes of Israel: Of the Reubenites was ruler Eli'ezer the son of Zichri; of the Simeonites, Shephatyahu the son of Ma'achah;
17 des Lévites: Haschabia, fils de Kemuel; de la famille d’Aaron: Tsadok;
Of the Levites, Chashabyah the son of Kamuel; of [the sons of] Aaron, Zadok;
18 de Juda: Élihu, des frères de David; d’Issacar: Omri, fils de Micaël;
Of Judah, Elihu, one of the brothers of David; of Issachar, 'Omri the son of Michael;
19 de Zabulon: Jischemaeja, fils d’Abdias; de Nephthali: Jerimoth, fils d’Azriel;
Of Zebulun, Yishma'yahu the son of 'Obadyahu; of Naphtali, Jerimoth the son of 'Azriel;
20 des fils d’Éphraïm: Hosée, fils d’Azazia; de la demi-tribu de Manassé: Joël, fils de Pedaja;
Of the children of Ephraim, Hoshea, the son of 'Azazyahu; of the half tribe of Menasseh, Joel the son of Pedayahu;
21 de la demi-tribu de Manassé en Galaad: Jiddo, fils de Zacharie; de Benjamin: Jaasiel, fils d’Abner;
Of the half tribe of Menasseh in Gil'ad, Yiddo the son of Zecharyahu; of Benjamin, 'Ja'assiel the son of Abner;
22 de Dan: Azareel, fils de Jerocham. Ce sont là les chefs des tribus d’Israël.
Of Dan, 'Azarel the son of Jerocham. These were the princes of the tribes of Israel.
23 David ne fit point le dénombrement de ceux d’Israël qui étaient âgés de vingt ans et au-dessous, car l’Éternel avait promis de multiplier Israël comme les étoiles du ciel.
But David took not their number from twenty years old and under; because the Lord had said he would multiply Israel like the stars of the heavens.
24 Joab, fils de Tseruja, avait commencé le dénombrement, mais il ne l’acheva pas, l’Éternel s’étant irrité contre Israël à cause de ce dénombrement, qui ne fut point porté parmi ceux des Chroniques du roi David.
Joab the son of Zeruyah began to number [them]; but he finished not, and there came wrath because of it against Israel: and the number was not entered in the account of the chronicles of king David.
25 Azmaveth, fils d’Adiel, était préposé sur les trésors du roi; Jonathan, fils d’Ozias, sur les provisions dans les champs, les villes, les villages et les tours;
And over the king's treasures was 'Azmaveth the son of 'Adiel; and over the storehouses in the fields, in the cities, and in the villages, and in the castles, was Jehonathan the son of 'Uzziyahu.
26 Ezri, fils de Kelub, sur les ouvriers de la campagne qui cultivaient la terre;
And over those that did the work of the field, in the tillage of the ground, was 'Ezri the son of Kelub.
27 Schimeï, de Rama, sur les vignes; Zabdi, de Schepham, sur les provisions de vin dans les vignes;
And over the vineyards was Shim'i the Ramathite; and over what was in the vineyards, as regardeth the supplies of wine, was Zabdi the Shiphmite.
28 Baal-Hanan, de Guéder, sur les oliviers et les sycomores dans la plaine; Joasch, sur les provisions d’huile;
And over the olive-trees and the sycamore-trees that were in the lowlands was Ba'al-chanan the Gederite: and over the supplies of oil was Jo'ash.
29 Schithraï, de Saron, sur les bœufs qui paissaient en Saron; Schaphath, fils d’Adlaï, sur les bœufs dans les vallées;
And over the herds that fed in Sharon was Shitrai the Sharonite; and over the herds that were in the valleys was Shaphat the son of 'Adlai.
30 Obil, l’Ismaélite, sur les chameaux; Jechdia, de Méronoth, sur les ânesses;
And over the camels was Obil the Ishma'elite; and over the she-asses was Yechdeyahu the Meronothite.
31 Jaziz, l’Hagarénien, sur les brebis. Tous ceux-là étaient intendants des biens du roi David.
And over the flocks was Jaziz the Hagerene. All these were the rulers of the property which belonged to king David.
32 Jonathan, oncle de David, était conseiller, homme de sens et de savoir; Jehiel, fils de Hacmoni, était auprès des fils du roi;
Also Jonathan David's uncle was a counsellor, being a man of understanding and acquainted with law; and Jeshiel the son of Chachmoni was with the king's sons;
33 Achitophel était conseiller du roi; Huschaï, l’Arkien, était ami du roi;
And Achithophel was the king's counsellor; and Chushai the Arkite was the king's friend;
34 après Achitophel, Jehojada, fils de Benaja, et Abiathar, furent conseillers; Joab était chef de l’armée du roi.
And after Achithophel [came] Jehoyada' the son of Benayahu and Ebyathar; and the captain of the king's army was Joab.
