Zacharie 6
1 Et je me retournai, et je levai les yeux, et je regardai, et voilà quatre chars sortant entre deux montagnes, et ces montagnes étaient d'airain.
And I again lifted up my eyes, and looked, and behold, there came out four chariots from between two mountains; and the mountains were mountains of copper.
2 Au premier char il y avait des chevaux roux, et au second char, des chevaux noirs,
In the first chariot were red horses; and in the second chariot, black horses:
3 et au troisième char, des chevaux blancs, et au quatrième char, des chevaux noirs.
And in the third chariot, white horses; and in the fourth chariot, grizzled, ash-colored horses.
4 Et je parlai, et je dis à l'ange qui parlait avec moi: Qu'est cela, Seigneur?
And I began and said unto the angel that spoke with me, What are these, my lord?
5 Et l'ange qui parlait avec moi me répondit, et me dit: Ce sont les quatre vents du ciel; ils sortent pour se tenir devant le Seigneur de toute la terre.
And the angel answered and said unto me, These are the four spirits of the heavens, which go forth after having stood before the Lord of all the earth.
6 Or les chevaux noirs s'en allaient sur toute la terre du septentrion; et les chevaux blancs venaient ensuite; et les gris-pommelé s'en allaient sur la terre du midi;
The [chariot] on which are black horses—these go forth into the north country; and the white go forth after them; and the grizzled go forth toward the south country.
7 et les autres sortirent, et ils regardèrent pour s'en aller et parcourir toute la terre; et l'ange leur dit: Marchez et parcourez toute la terre. Et ils parcoururent toute la terre.
And the red-colored were gone forth, and sought to traverse the earth: and he said, Go, traverse the earth. So they traversed the earth.
8 Et il cria, et il me parla, disant: Voilà que ceux qui s'en vont sur la terre du septentrion ont satisfait à Ma colère, en la terre du septentrion.
Then cried he loudly unto me, and spoke unto me, saying, Behold, these that are going toward the north country, have quieted [the indignation of] my spirit in the north country.
9 Et la parole du Seigneur vint à moi, disant:
And the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,
10 Prends les dons des captifs, soit de leurs princes, soit des hommes serviables de la captivité, soit de ceux qui l'honorent; et ce jour-là entre en la maison de Josias, fils de Sophonie, qui est arrivé de Babylone.
Take from the exiles, from Cheldai, from Tobiyahu, and from Yeda'yah, and thou shalt come on the same day, and go into the house of Josiah the son of Zephanyah, whither they have arrived from Babylon;
11 Et tu prendras l'argent et l'or, et tu en feras des couronnes, et tu les poseras sur la tête de Jésus, fils de Josédec, le grand prêtre.
Take also silver and gold, and make crowns, and set them upon the head of Joshua, the son of Jehozadak the high priest;
12 Et tu lui diras: Voici ce que dit le Seigneur tout-puissant: Voilà un homme: Orient est Son Nom, et Il Se lèvera venant de ce qui est sous Lui.
And thou shalt say unto him as followeth, Thus hath said the Lord of hosts, saying, Behold a man, Sprout is his name; since out of his own place shall he sprout up, even he shall build the temple of the Lord:
13 Et Il bâtira le temple du Seigneur, et Il recevra la force, et Il siégera, et Il régnera sur Son trône; et le prêtre sera à Sa droite, et un conseil de paix sera entre eux deux.
Yea, he shall build the temple of the Lord; and he shall bear the glory, and shall sit and rule upon his throne; and a priest shall be upon his own throne; and the counsel of peace shall be between both of them.
14 Et la couronne sera pour ceux qui ont souffert patiemment, et pour ceux de la captivité qui auront été serviables, et pour ceux qui l'ont honorée, afin de rendre des actions de grâces au fils de Sophonie; et les chanter dans le temple du Seigneur.
And the crowns shall be for Chelem, and for Tobiyah, and for Yeda'yah, and for Chen the son of Zephanyah, as a memorial in the temple of the Lord.
15 Et ceux qui demeurent au loin viendront et travailleront aussi à réédifier le temple du Seigneur; et vous saurez que le Seigneur tout-puissant M'a envoyé près de vous; et ces choses arriveront si vous êtes dociles à la voix du Seigneur votre Dieu.
And distant ones shall come and build on the temple of the Lord, and ye shall know that the Lord of hosts hath sent me unto you. And this shall come to pass, if ye will diligently hearken to the voice of the Lord your God.
