Psaumes 70

1 Jusqu'à la Fin, souvenir de David. Pour que le Seigneur me sauve. Ô Dieu mon secours, hâte-toi de t'approcher. secourir.

For the Leader. A Psalm of David; to make memorial. O God, to deliver me, O LORD, to help me, make haste.

2 Qu'ils soient humiliés et confondus, ceux qui cherchent mon âme. Qu'ils soient mis en fuite et couverts de honte, ceux qui me veulent du mal;

Let them be ashamed and abashed that seek after my soul; let them be turned backward and brought to confusion that delight in my hurt.

3 Qu'ils tournent le dos et soient soudain couverts de honte, ceux qui me disent: Ha! ha!

Let them be turned back by reason of their shame that say: 'Aha, aha.'

4 Que tous ceux qui te cherchent se réjouissent et se complaisent en toi; que ceux qui aiment ton salut disent à jamais: Dieu soit glorifié!

Let all those that seek Thee rejoice and be glad in Thee; and let such as love Thy salvation say continually: 'Let God be magnified.'

5 Pour moi, je suis indigent et pauvre; ô mon Dieu, secours-moi; tu es mon champion et mon défenseur; Seigneur, ne tarde pas!

But I am poor and needy; O God, make haste unto me; Thou art my help and my deliverer; O LORD, tarry not.
