Psaumes 26
1 De David. Juge-moi, Seigneur, car j'ai cheminé en mon innocence; espérant au Seigneur, je ne serai point ébranlé.
David’s. Do me justice, O Yahweh, For, I, in my blamelessness, have walked, and, in Yahweh, have I trusted, I will not waver.
2 Éprouve-moi, Seigneur, et tente-moi; purifie par le feu mon cœur et mes reins.
Try me, O Yahweh, and prove me, Test my reins and my heart: —
3 Car ta miséricorde est devant mes yeux, et je me suis complu en ta vérité.
For, thy lovingkindness, hath been before mine eyes, and I have walked to and fro in thy faithfulness;
4 Je ne me suis point assis au conseil de vanité, et je n'entrerai point où sont les artisans d'iniquité.
I have not sat with men of deceit, nor, with dissemblers, would I enter;
5 Je hais l'assemblée des méchants; je ne m'assiérai point avec les impies.
I have hated the convocation of evil-doers, and, with lawless men, would I not sit;
6 Je me laverai les mains parmi les innocents, et je me tiendrai autour de ton autel, ô Seigneur,
I will bathe, in pureness, my hands, —so will I go in procession around thine altar, O Yahweh;
7 Afin d'entendre la voix de ta louange, et de raconter toutes tes merveilles.
To sound aloud a song, and to recount all thy wonderful doings.
8 Seigneur, j'ai aimé la beauté de ton temple, et le tabernacle où habite ta gloire.
O Yahweh, I have loved the asylum of thy house, even the place of the habitation of thy glory!
9 Dieu, ne perds pas mon âme avec les impies, ni ma vie avec les hommes de sang,
Do not remove, with sinners, my soul, nor, with men of bloodshed, my life;
10 Dont les mains sont iniques, dont la droite est remplie de présents.
In whose hands is a plot, and, their right hand, is filled with a bribe.
11 Pour moi, j'ai cheminé en mon innocence; affranchis-moi et aie pitié de moi.
But, I, in my blamelessness, will walk, Redeem me and show me favour.
12 Mon pied est resté dans la droite voie; je te bénirai. Seigneur, dans les assemblées saintes.
My foot standeth in a level place, In the convocations, will I bless Yahweh.
