Psaumes 113

1 Alléluiah! Louez le Seigneur, enfants, louez le nom du Seigneur.

Praise ye the LORD. Praise, O ye servants of the LORD, praise the name of the LORD.

2 Béni soit le nom du Seigneur, maintenant et dans tous les siècles.

Blessed be the name of the LORD from this time forth and for evermore.

3 De l'Orient à l'Occident, le nom du Seigneur est digne de louange.

From the rising of the sun to the going down of the same the LORD'S name [is] to be praised.

4 Le Seigneur est élevé sur toutes les nations; et sa gloire, au-dessus des cieux.

The LORD [is] high above all nations, [and] his glory above the heavens.

5 Qui est comme le Seigneur notre Dieu, qui habite les hauteurs des cieux,

Who [is] like to the LORD our God, who dwelleth on high.

6 Et regarde les humbles dans le ciel et sur la terre?

Who humbleth [himself] to behold [the things that are] in heaven, and in the earth!

7 Il retire l'indigent de la poussière, il relève le pauvre de la fange,

He raiseth the poor out of the dust, [and] lifteth the needy out of the dunghill;

8 Pour les faire asseoir avec les princes, avec les princes de son peuple.

That he may set [him] with princes, [even] with the princes of his people.

9 Il fait demeurer la femme stérile dans sa maison, où elle trouve les joies d'une mère en ses enfants.

He maketh the barren woman to keep house, [and to be] a joyful mother of children. Praise ye the LORD.
