Malachie 4
1 Voilà que le jour approche, brûlant comme une fournaise, et il les consumera; et tous les étrangers et tous ceux qui font le mal seront comme de la paille; et le jour qui approche les dévorera, dit le Seigneur tout-puissant; et il ne restera d'eux ni branche ni racine.
For, behold, the day is coming, which shall burn as an oven; and all the presumptuous, yea, and all who practise wickedness shall be stubble: and the day that is coming shall set them on fire, saith the Lord of hosts, who will not leave them root or bough.
2 Et le Soleil de justice Se lèvera pour vous qui craignez Mon Nom; et sur Ses ailes Il portera le salut; et vous sortirez, et vous bondirez comme de jeunes bœufs délivrés de leurs liens.
But there shall rise unto you that fear my name the sun of righteousness with healing in his wings: and ye will go forth, and grow fat as calves of the stall.
3 Et vous foulerez les impies; car ils seront sous vos pieds comme de la cendre, le jour que Je ferai naître, dit le Seigneur tout-puissant.
And ye will tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet, on the day that I create, saith the Lord of hosts.
4 Souvenez-vous de la loi de Moïse, Mon serviteur, telle que Je la lui ai intimée, en Horeb, devant tout Israël, dans ses commandements et ses préceptes.
Remember ye the law of Moses my servant, whom I commanded on Horeb for all Israel, statutes and ordinances.
5 Et voilà que Je vous enverrai Élie le Thesbite, avant que vienne ce jour du Seigneur, jour grand et éclatant,
Behold, I send unto you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the day of the Lord, the great and the dreadful.
6 qui réunira au fils le cœur de son père, à l'homme le cœur de son prochain, de peur que Je ne survienne et que Je n'anéantisse la terre.
And he shall turn back the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers: lest I come and smite the earth with a curse.
