Lévitique 9

1 Le huitième jour, Moïse appela Aaron, ses fils et les anciens d'Israël.

It happened on the eighth day, that Moses called Aaron and his sons, and the elders of Israel;

2 Et Moïse dit à Aaron: Prends, parmi les bœufs, un jeune veau pour le péché; prends un bélier sans tache pour l'holocauste, et offre-les au Seigneur.

and he said to Aaron, "Take a calf from the herd for a sin offering, and a ram for a burnt offering, without blemish, and offer them before the LORD.

3 Et parle aux anciens d'Israël, disant: Prenez, parmi les chèvres, un bouc pour le péché; prenez ensuite un jeune veau et un agneau d'un an sans tache, pour l'holocauste;

You shall speak to the children of Israel, saying, 'Take a male goat for a sin offering; and a calf and a lamb, both a year old, without blemish, for a burnt offering;

4 Puis, le veau et le bélier pour hosties pacifiques devant le Seigneur, puis, de la fleur de farine pétrie dans l'huile, car le Seigneur aujourd'hui vous apparaîtra.

and a bull and a ram for peace offerings, to sacrifice before the LORD; and a meal offering mixed with oil: for today the LORD appears to you.'"

5 Et ils amenèrent devant le tabernacle du témoignage les victimes que Moïse avait ordonné de prendre; toute la synagogue s'approcha, et se tint debout devant le Seigneur.

They brought what Moses commanded before the Tent of Meeting: and all the congregation drew near and stood before the LORD.

6 Alors Moïse dit: Voici l'ordre qu'a donné le Seigneur, exécutez-le, et la gloire du Seigneur va vous apparaître.

Moses said, "This is the thing which the LORD commanded that you should do: and the glory of the LORD shall appear to you."

7 Moïse dit aussi à Aaron: Approche-toi de l'autel, sacrifie la victime pour ton péché, brûle ton holocauste, et prie pour toi et pour ta maison; ensuite, sacrifie les victimes données par le peuple, et prie pour eux tous, comme le Seigneur l'a prescrit à Moïse.

Moses said to Aaron, "Draw near to the altar, and offer your sin offering, and your burnt offering, and make atonement for yourself, and for the people; and offer the offering of the people, and make atonement for them; as the LORD commanded."

8 Et Aaron s'approcha de l'autel, et il égorgea le veau pour son péché.

So Aaron drew near to the altar, and killed the calf of the sin offering, which was for himself.

9 Les fils d'Aaron lui présentèrent le sang, dans lequel il trempa son doigt; il en mit sur les cornes de l'autel, et il répandit le reste au pied de l'autel.

The sons of Aaron presented the blood to him; and he dipped his finger in the blood, and put it on the horns of the altar, and poured out the blood at the base of the altar:

10 Ensuite, il posa sur l'autel la graisse, les rognons et le lobe du foie de la victime pour le péché comme le Seigneur l'avait prescrit à Moïse.

but the fat, and the kidneys, and the cover from the liver of the sin offering, he burned upon the altar; as the LORD commanded Moses.

11 Et il consuma par le feu, hors du camp, les chairs et la peau.

The flesh and the skin he burned with fire outside the camp.

12 Il égorgea aussi l'holocauste; les fils d'Aaron lui en présentèrent le sang, et il le répandit autour de l'autel.

He killed the burnt offering; and Aaron's sons delivered the blood to him, and he sprinkled it around on the altar.

13 Ils lui présentèrent l'holocauste dépecé par membres, et il plaça sur l'autel la tête et les membres.

They delivered the burnt offering to him, piece by piece, and the head: and he burned them upon the altar.

14 Puis, il lava, avec de l'eau, les entrailles et les pieds, et il les plaça au-dessus de l'holocauste sur l'autel,

He washed the entrails and the legs, and burned them on the burnt offering on the altar.

15 Il offrit le don du peuple; il prit le bouc pour le péché du peuple, l'égorgea, et le nettoya, comme la précédente victime.

He presented the people's offering, and took the goat of the sin offering which was for the people, and killed it, and offered it for sin, like the first.

16 Et il l'offrit en holocauste, selon les règles.

He presented the burnt offering, and offered it according to the ordinance.

17 Il offrit le sacrifice, dont il prit entre ses mains une part qu'il posa sur l'autel, en sus de l'holocauste du matin.

He presented the meal offering, and filled his hand from there, and burned it upon the altar, besides the burnt offering of the morning.

18 Il égorgea le veau et le bélier, hosties pacifiques du peuple, et les fils d'Aaron lui présentèrent le sang, et il le répandit tout autour de l'autel.

He also killed the bull and the ram, the sacrifice of peace offerings, which was for the people: and Aaron's sons delivered to him the blood, which he sprinkled around on the altar,

19 Il prit la graisse du veau, les reins du bélier, la graisse qui enveloppe les entrailles, les deux rognons avec la graisse qui les entoure, et le lobe du foie;

and the fat of the bull and of the ram, the fat tail, and that which covers the entrails, and the kidneys, and the cover of the liver:

20 Et il mit la graisse par-dessus les poitrines, et il porta toute la graisse sur l'autel.

and they put the fat upon the breasts, and he burned the fat on the altar:

21 Puis Aaron enleva la poitrine et l'épaule droite, portions mises à part pour l'offrande au Seigneur, comme le Seigneur l'avait prescrit à Moïse.

and the breasts and the right thigh Aaron waved for a wave offering before the LORD, as Moses commanded.

22 Alors, ayant étendu les mains sur le peuple, Aaron le bénit; et il descendit après avoir sacrifié les victimes pour le péché, les holocaustes, et les hosties pacifiques.

Aaron lifted up his hands toward the people, and blessed them; and he came down from offering the sin offering, and the burnt offering, and the peace offerings.

23 Aussitôt, Moïse avec Aaron entra dans le tabernacle du témoignage; puis, étant sortis, ils bénirent tout le peuple, et la gloire du Seigneur apparut au peuple tout entier.

Moses and Aaron went into the Tent of Meeting, and came out, and blessed the people: and the glory of the LORD appeared to all the people.

24 Et il descendit du Seigneur un feu qui dévora les victimes disposées sur l'autel, les holocaustes et la graisse; tout le peuple le vit, et, saisis d'admiration, ils tombèrent la face centre terre.

There came forth fire from before the LORD, and consumed the burnt offering and the fat upon the altar: and when all the people saw it, they shouted, and fell on their faces.
