Lévitique 22
1 Et le Seigneur parla à Moïse, disant:
And the Lord spak to Moises, and seide, Speke thou to Aaron and to hise sones,
2 Dis à Aaron et à ses fils qu'ils soient très attentifs pour les choses saintes; qu'ils ne profanent mon saint nom en aucune des choses qu'ils me consacreront: je suis le Seigneur.
that thei be war of these thingis of the sones of Israel, whiche thingis ben halewid; and that they defoule not the name of thingis halewid to me, whiche thingis thei offren; Y am the Lord.
3 Dis-leur: Dans la suite de vos générations, tout homme de votre famille qui s'approchera des choses saintes; de celles que les fils d'Israël consacreront au Seigneur, et qui aura en lui quelque impureté, sera exterminé par moi: je suis le Seigneur votre Dieu.
Seie thou to hem, and to the aftir comeris of hem, Ech man of youre kynrede, `which man neiyeth to tho thingis that ben halewid, and whiche thingis the sones of Israel offreden to the Lord, in `which man is vnclennesse, schal perische bifor the Lord; Y am the Lord.
4 L'homme, de la famille du prêtre Aaron, atteint de la lèpre ou de la gonorrhée, ne mangera point des choses saintes avant d'avoir été purifié non plus que celui qui aura touché un animal impur, ou qui aura eu une émission de semence,
A man of the seed of Aaron, `which man is leprouse, ethir suffrith `fletyng out of seed, schal not ete of these thingis, that ben halewid to me, til he be heelid. He that touchith an vncleene thing on a deed bodi, and fro whom the seed as of leccherie goith out, and which touchith a crepynge beeste,
5 Ou qui aura touché un reptile impur qui l'ait souillé, ou un autre homme qui l'aura souillé par une impureté quelconque.
and what euer vncleene thing, whos touchyng is foul,
6 L'homme, ainsi souillé par attouchement, sera impur jusqu'au soir; il ne mangera des choses saintes qu'après s'être lavé le corps avec de l'eau.
schal be vncleene `til to euentid, and he schal not ete these thingis, that ben halewid to me; but whanne he hath waische his fleisch in watir,
7 Après le coucher du soleil, il sera pur et mangera des choses saintes, puisque c'est sa nourriture.
and the sunne hath go doun, thanne he schal be clensid, and schal ete halewid thingis, for it is his mete.
8 Il ne mangera ni corps mort ni proie enlevée par une bête fauve, il en serait souillé: je suis le Seigneur.
He schal not ete a thing deed bi it silf, and takun of a beeste, nethir he schal be defoulid in tho; Y am the Lord.
9 Ils observeront mes préceptes, afin de ne point porter de péché en les violant, et de ne pas mourir pour les avoir profanés: je suis le Seigneur qui les sanctifie.
Thei schulen kepe myn heestis, that thei be not suget to synne, and die in the seyntuarye, whanne thei han defoulid it; Y am the Lord that halewe you.
10 Nul, d'une autre famille, ne mangera des choses saintes; ni l'hôte du prêtre, ni son journalier, ne mangeront des choses saintes.
Ech alien schal not ete of thingis halewid; the hyne which is a straunger, and the hirid man of the preest, schulen not ete of tho. Sotheli these seruauntis,
11 Mais, si le prêtre, à prix d'argent, a acquis un esclave, celui-ci mangera de ses aliments; les serviteurs, nés en sa maison, pareillement, en pourront manger.
whom the preest hath bouyt, and which is a borun seruaunt of his hows, schulen ete of tho.
12 La fille du prêtre, si elle s'unit à un homme d'une autre famille, ne mangera pas des prémices du sanctuaire.
If the `douyter of the preest is weddid to ony of the puple, sche schal not ete of these thingis that ben halewid, and of the firste fruytis;
13 Si la fille du prêtre devient veuve, ou si elle est répudiée, pourvu qu'elle n'ait pas d'enfants, elle retournera en sa demeure paternelle, sur le même pied que durant sa jeunesse, et elle mangera des aliments de son père; mais nul étranger à la famille n'en pourra manger.

14 Tout homme qui, par ignorance, aura mangé des choses saintes, fera une restitution équivalente, y ajoutera un cinquième en sus, et donnera le tout au prêtre, comme chose sainte.
He that etith bi ignoraunce of halewid thingis, schal adde the fyuethe part with that that he eet, and `schal yyue to the preest in seyntuarie,
15 Et l'on ne profanera pas les choses saintes des fils d'Israël, qu'ils ont destinées au Seigneur.
and thei schulen not defoule the halewid thingis of the sones of Israel, whiche thei offren to the Lord,
16 On se rendrait coupable d'un délit en mangeant de ces choses saintes; car je suis le Seigneur qui ai sanctifié les prêtres.
lest perauenture thei suffren the wickidnesse of her trespas, whanne thei han ete halewid thingis; Y am the Lord that `halewe hem.
17 Et le Seigneur parla à Moïse, disant:
The Lord spak to Moises, and seide,
18 Parle à Aaron et à ses fils, et à toute la synagogue des fils d'Israël, et dis-leur: Tout homme, des fils d'Israël ou des prosélytes, demeurant parmi eux en Israël, qui apportera des victimes après une confession, ou par une élection quelconque, pour être offertes en holocaustes à Dieu,
Speke thou to Aaron and to hise sones, and to alle the sones of Israel, and thou schalt seie to hem, A man of the hous of Israel and of comelyngis that dwellen at hem, which offrith his offryng to the Lord, and ethir paieth avowis, ethir offrith bi his fre wille, what euer thing he offrith in to brent sacrifice of the Lord, that it be offrid bi you,
19 Présentera des bêtes mâles et sans tache, acceptables par vous, prises parmi les bœufs, les brebis ou les chèvres.
it schal be a male without wem, of oxen, and of scheep, and of geet; if it hath a wem,
20 Tout ce qui aura quelque tache ne sera joint présenté au Seigneur, puisqu'il ne serait point acceptable par vous-mêmes.
ye schulen not offre, nether it schal be acceptable.
21 Tout homme qui offrira au Seigneur une hostie pacifique, soit par vœu, soit par élection, soit à l'occasion de l'une de vos fêtes, prendra, parmi les bœufs ou les brebis, une victime sans tache, acceptable, n'ayant aucune difformité.
A man that offrith a sacrifice of pesyble thingis to the Lord, and ethir paieth auowis, ethir offrith bi fre wille, as wel of oxun as of scheep, he schal offre a beeste without wem, that it be acceptable; ech wem schal not be ther ynne.
22 Nulle bête, aveugle, ou ayant soit une fracture, soit la langue coupée, soit la peau couverte de boutons, la rogne, ou une dartre vive, ne sera présentée au Seigneur; vous n'en ferez point une hostie sur l'autel du Seigneur.
If it is blynd, if it is brokun, if it hath a scar, if it hath whelkis, ether scabbe, ethir drie scabbe, ye schulen not offre tho beestis to the Lord, nether ye schulen brenne of tho beestis on the auter of the Lord.
23 Tu immoleras pour toi-même le veau ou la brebis qui aura les oreilles ou la queue coupées; mais il ne sera pas reçu pour l'accomplissement de ton vœu.
A man may offre wilfuli an oxe and scheep, whanne the eere and tail ben kit of; but avow may not be paied of these beestis.
24 Tu ne présenteras pas au Seigneur de bête châtrée par compression, ou par amputation, ou par arrachement; vous n'en sacrifierez point en votre terre.
Ye schulen not offre to the Lord ony beeste, whose priuy membris ben brokun, ethir brisid, ether kit, and takun awey, and outerli ye schulen not do these thingis in youre lond.
25 Vous ne recevrez pas non plus, de la main de l'étranger, aucune de ces choses pour les offrir en don à votre Dieu, parce qu'il y a un vice et une tache en elles; vous ne les recevrez pas.
Of `the hond of an alien ye schulen not offre looues to youre God, and what euer other thing he wole yyue, for alle thingis ben corrupt and defoulid; ye schulen not resseyue tho.
26 Et le Seigneur parla à Moïse, disant:
And the Lord spak to Moises,
27 Le veau, ou l'agneau, ou le chevreau nouveau-né, restera sept jours sous sa mère, et, à partir du huitième jour, il pourra être choisi comme victime et offrande au Seigneur.
and seide, Whanne an oxe, scheep and goet ben brouyt forth `of the modris wombe, in seuene daies tho schulen be vnder `the tete of her modir; sotheli in the eiyte dai, and fro thennus forth, tho moun be offrid to the Lord,
28 Vous ne sacrifierez pas le même jour la vache, la brebis et leurs rejetons.
whether thilke is a cow, whether `thilke is a scheep; tho schulen not be offrid in o dai with her fruytis.
29 Lorsque vous sacrifierez une victime d'action de grâces au Seigneur, qu'elle soit acceptable par vous.
If ye offren to the Lord a sacrifice for the doyng of thankyngis, that it mai be plesaunt,
30 Elle sera mangée le jour même du sacrifice; vous ne laisserez point de sa chair pour le lendemain: je suis le Seigneur.
ye schulen ete it in the same dai in which it is offrid; ony thing schal not leeue in the morewtid of the tother dai; Y am the Lord.
31 Ainsi, vous observerez mes commandements et vous les exécuterez.
Kepe ye myn heestis, and do ye tho; Y am the Lord.
32 Et vous ne profanerez pas le nom du Saint, et je serai sanctifié au milieu des fils d'Israël: je suis le Seigneur qui vous sanctifie,
Defoule ye not myn hooli name, that Y be halewid in the myddis of the sones of Israel; Y am the Lord, that halewe you, and ledde you out of the lond of Egipt,
33 Et qui vous ai tirés de la terre d'Egypte pour être votre Dieu: je suis le Seigneur.
that Y schulde be to you in to God; Y am the Lord.
