Lévitique 13

1 Et le Seigneur parla à Moïse et à Aaron, disant:

And Jehovah spoke to Moses and to Aaron, saying,

2 S'il vient à un homme sur la peau de sa chair une tache luisante, et s'il vient à la peau de sa chair une plaie de lèpre, il sera conduit au prêtre Aaron ou à l'un des prêtres ses fils.

When a man shall have in the skin of his flesh a rising, or a scab, or a bright spot, and it becomes in the skin of his flesh a leprous disease, then he shall be brought to Aaron the priest, or to one of his sons the priests.

3 Le prêtre examinera la tache sur la peau de sa chair; or, si le poil sur la tache est devenu blanc, si l'aspect de la plaie présente un enfoncement dans la peau de la chair, c'est la plaie de la lèpre; le prêtre la verra et déclarera l'homme impur.

And the priest shall look on the disease in the skin of the flesh, and if the hair in the disease has turned white, and the appearance of the disease is deeper than the skin of his flesh, it is a leprous disease. And the priest shall look on him, and pronounce him unclean.

4 Mais s'il a sur la peau de sa chair une tache blanche et luisante, si la plaie ne présente pas d'enfoncement dans la peau de sa chair, si le poil n'a pas blanchi, mais reste de couleur foncée, le prêtre séparera la tache sept jours.

And if the bright spot is white in the skin of his flesh, and the appearance of it is not deeper than the skin, and the hair of it has not turned white, then the priest shall shut up the disease seven days.

5 Et le septième jour, le prêtre observera la tache; s'il voit qu'elle persiste sur la peau et n'a nullement changé, alors, il séparera l'homme sept jours pour la seconde fois.

And the priest shall look on him the seventh day, and, behold, if in his eyes the disease is arrested, and the disease is not spread in the skin, then the priest shall shut him up seven days more.

6 Le septième jour, le prêtre visitera l'homme une seconde fois, et s'il voit une tache de couleur foncée qui n'a pas changé de nature sur la peau, alors, il déclarera que l'homme est pur: ce n'est qu'une tache; et ayant lavé ses vêtements, il sera pur.

And the priest shall look on him again the seventh day, and, behold, if the disease is dim, and the disease has not spread in the skin, then the priest shall pronounce him clean. It is a scab, and he shall wash his clothes, and be clean.

7 Mais si sa tache luisante a changé de nature et s'est déplacée sur la peau, après que le prêtre aura visité l'homme pour le déclarer pur; l'homme sera de nouveau visité par le prêtre.

But if the scab spreads abroad in the skin after he has shown himself to the priest for his cleansing, he shall show himself to the priest again.

8 Celui-ci l'observera, et voilà que la tache a encore changé de nature sur la peau; alors, il déclarera que l'homme est impur; c'est la lèpre.

And the priest shall look, and, behold, if the scab is spread in the skin, then the priest shall pronounce him unclean. It is a leprous disease.

9 Si un homme a une plaie de lèpre, il ira devant le prêtre;

When the leprous disease is in a man, then he shall be brought to the priest.

10 Celui-ci le visitera, et s'il voit qu'une cicatrice blanche paraît sur la peau, si la cicatrice a rendu le poil blanc, et s'il y a de la chair vive dans la trace sur la chair saine,

And the priest shall look, and, behold, if there is a white rising in the skin, and it has turned the hair white, and there is quick raw flesh in the rising,

11 C'est une lèpre ancienne sur la peau du corps, et le prêtre déclarera l'homme impur, et il le séparera parce qu'il est impur.

it is an old leprous disease in the skin of his flesh, and the priest shall pronounce him unclean. He shall not shut him up, for he is unclean.

12 Si la lèpre fleurit et fleurit sur la peau, si elle couvre toute la peau de l'homme de la tête aux pieds, partout où le prêtre portera les yeux,

And if the leprous disease breaks out abroad in the skin, and the leprous disease covers all the skin of the disease from his head even to his feet, as far as appears to the priest,

13 Le prêtre observera, et voila que la lèpre a couvert toute la peau du corps; alors, il déclarera l'homme pur quant à la tache, car elle a changé et est devenue blanche; l'homme est pur.

then the priest shall look. And, behold, if the leprous disease has covered all his flesh, he shall pronounce him clean of the disease. It is all turned white; he is clean.

14 Mais le jour, quel qu'il soit, où sur l'homme apparaîtra de la chair vive, il sera déclaré impur.

But whenever raw flesh appears in him, he shall be unclean.

15 Le prêtre observera la chair vive; et la chair vive fera déclarer l'homme impur; car il est impur: c'est la lèpre.

And the priest shall look on the raw flesh, and pronounce him unclean. The raw flesh is unclean; it is a leprous disease.

16 Mais si la chair vive se cicatrise et redevient blanche, l'homme se présentera au prêtre.

Or if the raw flesh turns again, and is changed to white, then he shall come to the priest.

17 Le prêtre observera, et s'il voit que la peau est devenue blanche, il déclarera que la tache est pure; en ce cas l'homme est pur.

And the priest shall look on him, and, behold, if the disease is turned into white, then the priest shall pronounce him clean of the disease; he is clean.

18 Mais si la chair est ulcérée dans la peau et qu'elle se guérisse;

And when the flesh has a boil in the skin of it, and it is healed,

19 Si, à la place de l'ulcère, il vient une cicatrice blanche, ou luisante et blanchissante, ou tirant sur le rouge, l'homme sera visité par le prêtre.

and in the place of the boil there is a white rising, or a bright spot, reddish-white, then it shall be shown to the priest.

20 Le prêtre observera, et s'il voit que la plaie a creusé au-dessous de la peau et que les poils sont devenus blancs, il déclarera l'homme impur; c'est la lèpre, elle s'est formée dans l'ulcère.

And the priest shall look, and, behold, if the appearance of it is deeper than the skin, and the hair of it has turned white, then the priest shall pronounce him unclean. It is a leprous disease; it has broken out in the boil.

21 Mais si le prêtre ayant fait la visite, il y a des poils blancs en l'ulcère; si l'ulcère n'a pas creusé au-dessous de la peau, s'il est devenu obscur, le prêtre séparera l'homme sept jours.

But if the priest looks on it, and, behold, there are no white hairs in it, and it is not deeper than the skin, but is dim, then the priest shall shut him up seven days.

22 Si l'ulcère s'est étendu et étendu sur la peau, le prêtre déclarera encore l'homme impur; c'est une plaie de lèpre; elle s'est formée dans l'ulcère.

And if it spreads abroad in the skin, then the priest shall pronounce him unclean; it is a disease.

23 Si la tache blanche persiste au même lieu et ne s'étend pas, c'est une cicatrice d'ulcère; le prêtre déclarera que l'homme est pur.

But if the bright spot stays in its place, and has not spread, it is the scar of the boil, and the priest shall pronounce him clean.

24 Si la chair est vivement enflammée dans la peau; si, dans la part guérie de l'inflammation, il reste à la peau une tache luisante, blanche ou rougeâtre, ou très blanche,

Or when the flesh has a burning by fire in the skin of it, and the quick of the burning become a bright spot, reddish-white, or white,

25 Le prêtre observera l'homme, et s'il voit que dans la tache luisante le poil devient blanc et que son aspect présente un enfoncement dans la peau; c'est une lèpre, elle s'est formée dans l'inflammation; et le prêtre déclarera l'homme impur; c'est une plaie de lèpre.

then the priest shall look upon it. And, behold, if the hair in the bright spot has turned white, and the appearance of it is deeper than the skin, it is a leprous disease. It has broken out in the burning, and the priest shall pronounce him unclean; it is a leprous disease.

26 Mais si, lorsque le prêtre aura observé, il ne voit point de poil blanc dans la tache luisante, si elle n'a point fait d'enfoncement au-dessous de la peau, si elle est de couleur obscure, il séparera l'homme pendant sept jours.

But if the priest looks on it, and, behold, there is no white hair in the bright spot, and it is no deeper than the skin, but is dim, then the priest shall shut him up seven days.

27 Et le septième il le visitera; si la trace s'est étendue et étendue sur la peau, il le déclarera impur; c'est une plaie de lèpre, elle s'est formée dans l'inflammation.

And the priest shall look upon him the seventh day. If it spread abroad in the skin, then the priest shall pronounce him unclean; it is a leprous disease.

28 Mais si la tache luisante persiste à la même place et ne s'est pas étendue sur la peau, si elle est de couleur sombre, c'est une cicatrice de l'inflammation, et le prêtre déclarera l'homme pur, car c'est la marque de l'inflammation.

And if the bright spot stays in its place, and has not spread in the skin, but is dim, it is the rising of the burning, and the priest shall pronounce him clean, for it is the scar of the burning.

29 Si un homme ou une femme a une plaie de lèpre dans la barbe ou dans les cheveux,

And when a man or woman has a disease upon the head or upon the beard,

30 Le prêtre visitera la plaie, et s'il voit qu'elle présente un enfoncement au-dessous de la peau et que le poil est devenu blond et grêle, il déclarera la personne impure; c'est une teigne, une lèpre de la tête ou une lèpre de la barbe.

then the priest shall look on the disease. And, behold, if the appearance of it is deeper than the skin, and there is yellow thin hair in it, then the priest shall pronounce him unclean; it is a scall. It is a leprous disease of the head or of the beard.

31 Mais lorsque le prêtre aura visité la plaie de la teigne, s'il n'y a pas apparence d'enfoncement au-dessous de la peau, s'il ne voit pas de poils blonds, il séparera la plaie pendant sept jours.

And if the priest looks on the disease of the scall, and, behold, the appearance of it is not deeper than the skin, and there is no black hair in it, then the priest shall shut up the disease of the scall seven days.

32 Le septième, il la visitera, et si elle ne s'est point étendue, s'il n'y a pas en elle de poils blonds, si elle ne présente pas l'aspect d'un enfoncement dans la peau,

And in the seventh day the priest shall look on the disease, and, behold, if the scall has not spread, and there is in it no yellow hair, and the appearance of the scall is not deeper than the skin,

33 Il rasera la peau et ne rasera pas la teigne, et une seconde fois il séparera la plaie pendant sept jours.

then he shall be shaven, but the scall he shall not shave, and the priest shall shut up him who has the scall seven days more.

34 Le septième jour, le prêtre visitera la teigne; s'il voit qu'elle ne s'est point étendue sur la peau après que la personne aura été rasée, qu'elle ne présente point l'aspect d'un enfoncement au-dessous de la peau, le prêtre déclarera la personne pure; elle lavera ses vêtements et sera pure.

And in the seventh day the priest shall look on the scall, and, behold, if the scall has not spread in the skin, and the appearance of it is not deeper than the skin, then the priest shall pronounce him clean. And he shall wash his clothes, and be clean.

35 Mais si la teigne s'est étendue sur la peau après que la personne aura été déclarée pure,

But if the scall spreads abroad in the skin after his cleansing,

36 Le prêtre la visitera encore, et s'il voit que la teigne s'est étendue sur la peau, le prêtre n'examinera pas si le poil est devenu blond; la personne est impure.

then the priest shall look on him. And, behold, if the scall has spread in the skin, the priest shall not seek for the yellow hair, he is unclean.

37 Mais si, à ses yeux, la teigne reste à la même place, s'il y pousse des poils noirs, la teigne est guérie, la personne est pure; le prêtre la déclarera pure.

But if in his eyes the scall is arrested, and black hair is grown up in it, the scall is healed. He is clean, and the priest shall pronounce him clean.

38 Si un homme ou une femme présente à la peau des taches blanches et luisantes,

And when a man or a woman has bright spots in the skin of the flesh, even white bright spots,

39 Le prêtre observera, et s'il voit que sur la peau il y a des taches blanches et luisantes; c'est une dartre farineuse qui s'est produite à la peau; la personne est pure.

then the priest shall look. And, behold, if the bright spots in the skin of their flesh are of a dull white, it is a tetter. It has broken out in the skin; he is clean.

40 Si un homme perd ses cheveux, il est chauve, il est pur.

And if a man's hair is fallen off his head, he is bald; he is clean.

41 S'il perd les cheveux de devant la tête, il est chauve sur le front, il est pur.

And if his hair is fallen off from the front part of his head, he is forehead bald; he is clean.

42 Si, soit au sommet chauve de la tête, soit au front chauve, survient une plaie blanche ou rouge, l'homme a la lèpre, au sommet de la tête ou au front.

But if there is a reddish-white disease in the bald head, or the bald forehead, it is a leprous disease breaking out in his bald head, or his bald forehead.

43 Le prêtre le visitera, et s'il voit qu'il y a une plaie blanche ou rouge au sommet de la tête ou du front, ressemblant à la lèpre ordinaire sur la chair,

Then the priest shall look upon him, and, behold, if the rising of the disease is reddish-white in his bald head, or in his bald forehead, as the appearance of a leprous disease in the skin of the flesh,

44 L'homme est lépreux; le prêtre le déclarera impur; la plaie est sur la tête.

he is a leprous man; he is unclean. The priest shall surely pronounce him unclean; his disease is on his head.

45 Que les vêtements du lépreux soient dénoués, qu'on lui découvre la tête, qu'on lui enveloppe la bouche, et il sera appelé impur.

And the man with a leprous disease in whom the disease is, his clothes shall be torn, and the hair of his head shall go loose, and he shall cover his upper lip, and shall cry, Unclean, unclean.

46 Il restera impur, tous les jours durant lesquels la plaie sera sur lui; il demeurera à part, son séjour sera hors du camp.

All the days in which the disease is in him he shall be unclean; he is unclean. He shall dwell alone; his dwelling shall be outside the camp.

47 S'il survient une tache de lèpre à un vêtement de laine ou de lin,

The garment also that a leprous disease is in, whether it be a woolen garment, or a linen garment,

48 Ou à la chaîne, ou à la trame, ou aux fils du lin, ou aux fils de la laine, ou à un cuir, ou à tout ouvrage en cuir;

whether it be in warp, or woof, of linen, or of woolen, whether in a skin, or in anything made of skin,

49 Si la tache devient verdâtre ou couleur de rouille sur le cuir, sur le vêtement, sur la chaîne, sur la trame, sur tout ouvrage en cuir, c'est une tache de lèpre; on la montrera au prêtre.

if the disease is greenish or reddish in the garment, or in the skin, or in the warp, or in the woof, or in anything of skin, it is a leprous disease, and shall be shown to the priest.

50 Le prêtre verra la tache, et pendant sept jours il la séparera.

And the priest shall look upon the disease, and shut up the disease seven days.

51 Le septième jour, le prêtre visitera la tache, et si elle s'est étendue sur le vêtement, sur la chaîne, sur la trame, sur la peau travaillée n'importe comment, la tache est une lèpre persistante; l'objet est impur.

And he shall look on the disease on the seventh day. If the disease has spread in the garment, either in the warp, or in the woof, or in the skin, whatever service skin is used for, the disease is a fretting leprosy, it is unclean.

52 Le prêtre brûlera le vêtement, ou la chaîne, ou la trame, qu'elle soit de laine ou de lin; il brûlera la peau travaillée qui sera tachée, car c'est une lèpre persistante; l'objet sera consumé par le feu.

And he shall burn the garment, whether the warp or the woof, in woolen or in linen, or anything of skin, in which the disease is, for it is a fretting leprosy. It shall be burnt in the fire.

53 Mais lorsque le prêtre l'aura visité, si la tache ne s'est étendue ni sur le vêtement, ni sur la chaîne, ni sur la trame, ni sur l'ouvrage en cuir,

And if the priest shall look, and, behold, the disease has not spread in the garment, either in the warp, or in the woof, or in anything of skin,

54 Le prêtre donnera ses ordres: l'homme lavera devant lui la tache, et le prêtre séparera encore la tache pendant sept jours.

then the priest shall command that they wash the thing in which the disease is, and he shall shut it up seven more days.

55 Et le prêtre verra la tache, après qu'elle aura été lavée; si elle n'a pas changé d'apparence, quoiqu'elle ne se soit pas étendue, l'objet est impur, il sera consumé par le feu, puisque la tache a persisté sur le vêtement, ou sur la chaîne, ou sur la trame.

And the priest shall look, after the disease is washed, and, behold, if the disease has not changed its color, and the disease has not spread, it is unclean. Thou shall burn it in the fire. It is a fret, whether the bareness be inside or outside.

56 Si, après le lavage, le prêtre voit que la tache a pris une teinte sombre, il déchirera cette part du vêtement, de la chaîne, de la trame, ou du cuir.

And if the priest looks, and, behold, the disease is dim after the washing of it, then he shall tear it out of the garment, or out of the skin, or out of the warp, or out of the woof.

57 Et si la tache reparaît sur le vêtement, sur la chaîne, sur la trame ou sur l'ouvrage en cuir, c'est une lèpre qui se montre; on consumera par le feu ce qui est taché.

And if it still appears in the garment, either in the warp, or in the woof, or in anything of skin, it is breaking out. Thou shall burn that in which the disease is with fire.

58 Et le vêtement, ou la chaîne, ou la trame, ou l'ouvrage en cuir, qui aura été lavé et dont la tache aura disparu, sera lavé derechef et sera pur.

And the garment, either the warp, or the woof, or whatever thing of skin it be, which thou shall wash, if the disease has departed from them, then it shall be washed the second time, and shall be clean.

59 Telle est la loi des taches de lèpre sur les vêtements de laine ou de lin, sur les chaînes et les trames, sur les peaux travaillées; c'est ainsi qu'on les déclarera purs ou impurs.

This is the law of a leprous disease in a garment of woolen or linen, either in the warp, or the woof, or anything of skin, to pronounce it clean, or to pronounce it unclean.
