Isaïe 66
1 Voici ce que dit le Seigneur: Le ciel est mon trône, et la terre l'escabeau de mes pieds. Quelle maison me bâtirez-vous? Et quel sera le lieu où je résiderai?
The Lord seith these thingis, Heuene is my seete, and the erthe is the stool of my feet. Which is this hous, which ye schulen bilde to me, and which is this place of my reste?
2 Car ma main a tout fait, et tout est à moi, dit le Seigneur. Et sur qui jetterai-je mes regards, sinon sur l'humble et le doux, sur l'homme qui tremble à ma parole?
Myn hond made alle these thingis, and alle these thingis ben maad, seith the Lord; but to whom schal Y biholde, no but to a pore man and contrit in spirit, and greetli dredynge my wordis?
3 L'injuste me sacrifie un bœuf, c'est comme s'il tuait un chien; un autre m'offre de la fleur de farine, c'est pour moi comme du sang de pourceau; un autre brûle de l'encens pour mémorial, c'est comme s'il blasphémait; ils ont choisi leurs voies, leur âme s'est complu en leurs abominations.
He that offrith an oxe, is as he that sleeth a man; he that sleeth a scheep, is as he that brayneth a dogge; he that offrith an offryng, is as he that offrith swynes blood; he that thenketh on encense, is as he that blessith an idol; thei chesiden alle thes thingis in her weies, and her soule delitide in her abhomynaciouns.
4 Et moi, je leur ferai payer leurs moqueries, et je punirai leurs péchés; car je les ai appelés, et ils ne m'ont pas obéi; j'ai parlé, et ils n'ont pas entendu; et devant moi ils ont fait le mal, et ce que je ne voulais pas, ils l'ont voulu.
Wherfor and Y schal chese the scornyngis of hem, and Y schal brynge to hem tho thingis whiche thei dredden; for Y clepide, and noon was that answeride; Y spak, and thei herden not; and thei diden yuel bifor myn iyen, and chesiden tho thingis whiche Y nolde.
5 Écoutez ce que dit le Seigneur, vous qui tremblez à sa parole; vous avez dit: Nos frères, à ceux que vous avez en haine et en abomination; que le nom du Seigneur soit glorifié en eux, et se manifeste en leur joie; mais ils seront confondus.
Here ye the word of the Lord, whiche quaken at his word; youre britheren hatynge you, and castynge a wey for my name, seiden, The Lord be glorified, and we schulen se in youre gladnesse; forsothe thei schulen be schent.
6 On entendra la voix de la ville, la voix du temple, la voix du Seigneur qui punira ses ennemis.
The vois of the puple fro the citee, the vois fro the temple, the vois of the Lord yeldynge a reward to hise enemyes.
7 Avant d'avoir été en mal d'enfant, avant que le moment des douleurs fût arrivé, elle a été délivrée, et elle a donné le jour à un fils.
Bifor that sche trauelide of child, sche childide; bifor that the sorewe of hir child beryng cam, sche childide a sone.
8 Qui a jamais ouï pareille chose? qui a vu rien de semblable? La terre n'a-t-elle été en travail d'enfant qu'un seul jour? une nation est-elle née tout d'une fois, pour que Sion ait été en travail et ait mis au jour ses enfants?
Who herde euere suche a thing, and who siy a thing lijk this? Whether the erthe schal trauele of child in o dai, ether whether a folk schal be childide togidere? For whi Sion trauelede of child, and childide hir sones.
9 Mais c'est moi qui ai fait naître cette attente, et tu ne t'es point souvenue de moi, dit le Seigneur. N'est-ce point moi qui rends une femme féconde ou stérile? dit ton Dieu.
Whether that Y `my silf that make othere to bere child, schal not ber child? seith the Lord. Whether Y that yyue generacioun to othere men, schal be bareyn? seith thi Lord God.
10 Jérusalem, réjouis-toi; rassemblez-vous dans ses murs, vous tous qui l'aimez; réjouissez-vous de sa joie, vous qui vous êtes affligés sur elle:
Be ye glad with Jerusalem, and alle ye that louen that, make ful out ioye ther ynne; alle ye that mourenen on that Jerusalem, make ye ioye with it in ioie;
11 Afin que vous vous allaitiez et que vous puisiez la plénitude à la mamelle de sa consolation; afin qu'après vous être allaités, vous trouviez des délices dans le retour de sa gloire.
that bothe ye souke, and be fillid of the tetis and coumfort therof, that ye mylke, and flowe in delicis, of al maner glorie therof.
12 Car ainsi dit le Seigneur: Voilà que je détourne vers eux comme une flamme de paix, comme un torrent qui leur apportera dans ses flots la gloire des Gentils. Les enfants de mon peuple seront portés à bras; on les prendra sur les genoux pour les consoler.
For whi the Lord seith these thingis, Lo! Y schal bowe doun on it, as a flood of pees, and as a flowynge streem the glorie of hethene men, which ye schulen souke; ye schulen be borun at tetis, and on knees thei schulen speke plesauntly to you.
13 Telle une mère console son enfant, et je vous consolerai, et c'est en Jérusalem que vous serez consolés.
As if a modir spekith faire to ony child, so Y schal coumforte you, and ye schulen be coumfortid in Jerusalem.
14 Et vous le verrez, et votre cœur sera réjoui, et vos os fleuriront comme l'herbe. Et la main du Seigneur sera connue de ceux qui le craignent, et elle menacera les rebelles.
Ye schulen se, and youre herte schal haue ioie, and youre boonys schulen buriowne as an erbe. And the hond of the Lord schal be knowun in hise seruauntis, and he schal haue indignacioun to hise enemyes.
15 Car voilà que le Seigneur viendra comme une flamme; les roues de son char seront comme un vent impétueux, apportant sa colère, sa vengeance et sa menace, dans une flamme de feu.
For lo! the Lord schal come in fier, and as a whirlwynd hise charis, to yelde in indignacioun hise strong veniaunce, and his blamyng in the flawme of fier.
16 Car toute la terre sera jugée par le feu du Seigneur, et toute chair par son glaive; une multitude d'hommes seront blessés par le Seigneur.
For whi the Lord schal deme in fier, and in hys swerd to ech fleisch; and slayn men of the Lord schulen be multiplied,
17 Ceux qui se sanctifient et se purifient dans les jardins, qui mangent sous leurs portiques de la chair de porc, des souris, et d'autres mets abominables, seront tous ensemble consumés par le Seigneur.
that weren halewid, and gessiden hem cleene, in gardyns aftir o yate with ynne; that eten swynes fleisch, and abhomynacioun, and a mows, thei schulen be waastid togidere, seith the Lord.
18 Et moi qui connais leurs œuvres et leurs pensées, je vais réunir tous les peuples et toutes les langues, et ils viendront, et ils verront ma gloire.
Forsothe Y come to gadere togidere the werkis of hem, and the thouytis of hem, with alle folkis and langagis; and thei schulen come, and schulen se my glorie.
19 Et je laisserai sur eux un signe, et j'enverrai ceux d'entre eux qui auront été sauvés chez les Gentils à Tharsis, à Phud, à Lud, à Mosoch, à Thobel, en Grèce, et aux îles lointaines, où mon nom n'a jamais été prononcé, où l'on n'a point vu ma gloire; et ils publieront ma gloire parmi les nations.
And Y schal sette a signe in hem, and Y schal sende of hem that ben sauyd to hethene men, in to the see, in to Affrik, and in to Liddia, and to hem that holden arowe, in to Italie, and Greek lond, to ilis fer, to hem that herden not of me, and sien not my glorie. And thei schulen telle my glorie to hethene men,
20 Et ils amèneront vos frères de toutes les nations pour en faire offrande au Seigneur, avec des chevaux et des litières freinées par des mules empanachées, dans la ville sainte, dit le Seigneur; comme lorsque les fils d'Israël offraient leurs sacrifices, en chantant des psaumes, dans le temple du Seigneur.
and thei schulen brynge alle youre britheren of alle folkis a yifte to the Lord, in horsis, and charis, and in literis, and in mulis, and in cartis, to myn hooli hil, Jerusalem, seith the Lord; as if the sones of Israel bryngen a yifte in a cleene vessel in to the hous of the Lord.
21 Et je choisirai parmi eux des prêtres et des lévites, dit le Seigneur.
And Y schal take of hem in to preestis and dekenes, seith the Lord.
22 Car de même que le ciel nouveau et la terre nouvelle que je créerai subsisteront devant moi, dit le Seigneur, de même votre race et votre nom seront fermement établis.
For as newe heuenes and newe erthe, whiche Y make to stonde bifore me, seith the Lord, so youre seed schal stonde, and youre name.
23 Et ceci sera de lune en lune, de sabbat en sabbat: toute chair viendra en Jérusalem pour adorer devant moi, dit le Seigneur.
And a monethe schal be of monethe, and a sabat of sabat; ech man schal come for to worschipe bifore my face, seith the Lord.
24 Et ils sortiront, et ils verront les membres épars de ceux qui auront péché contre moi; car le ver qui les rongera ne finira point; le feu qui les brûlera ne sera jamais éteint, et ils seront exposés à la vue de toute chair.
And thei schulen go out, and schulen se the careyns of men, that trespassiden ayens me; the worm of hem schal not die, and the fier of hem schal not be quenchid; and thei schulen be `til to fillyng of siyt to ech man.
