Isaïe 40
1 Consolez, consolez mon peuple, dit le Seigneur;
Comfort comfort people my he says God your.
2 Prêtres, parlez au cœur de Jérusalem; consolez-la, car son humiliation est accomplie; son péché lui est remis, parce qu'elle a reçu de la main du Seigneur un châtiment double de ses péchés.
Speak to [the] heart of Jerusalem and proclaim to it that it has been completed service its for it has been accepted iniquity its that it has received from [the] hand of Yahweh double for all sins its.
3 On entend la voix de celui qui crie dans le désert: Préparez la voie du Seigneur, redressez les sentiers de notre Dieu.
A voice [is] calling in the wilderness make clear [the] way of Yahweh make straight in the desert plain a highway for God our.
4 Toute vallée sera remplie, toute montagne sera abaissée; les chemins tortueux seront redressés, ceux qui étaient raboteux seront aplanis.
Every valley it will be lifted up and every mountain and hill they will become low and it will become the steep [place] level ground and the rough places a plain.
5 Et la gloire du Seigneur se manifestera, et toute chair verra le salut de Dieu; car le Seigneur a parlé.
And it will be revealed [the] glory of Yahweh and they will see [it] all flesh together for [the] mouth of Yahweh it has spoken.
6 Une voix m'a dit: Crie; et j'ai répondu: Que crierai-je? Toute chair est de l'herbe; toute gloire humaine est comme la fleur des champs.
A voice [is] saying proclaim and he said what? will I proclaim all flesh [is] grass and all loyalty its [is] like [the] flower of the field.
7 L'herbe s'est desséchée, et la fleur est tombée.
It dries up grass it withers a flower if [the] breath of Yahweh it blows on it truly [is] grass the people.
8 Mais la parole de notre Dieu subsistera dans tous les siècles.

9 Ô toi qui annonce à Sion la bonne nouvelle, monte sur le sommet de la montagne; élève la voix de toutes tes forces, toi qui annonce à Jérusalem la bonne nouvelle; dis-leur: Glorifiez-vous, ne craignez point; dis aux villes de Juda: Voilà votre Dieu.
On a mountain high go up yourself O bearer of news of Zion lift up with strength voice your O bearer of news of Jerusalem lift [it] up may not you be afraid say to [the] cities of Judah here! God your.
10 Voilà le Seigneur, le Seigneur vient avec la force, son bras a la puissance; voilà dans ses mains le salaire, et l'œuvre est devant ses yeux.
Here! [the] Lord Yahweh a strong [one] he will come and arm his [is] ruling for him here! reward his [is] with him and recompense his [is] before him.
11 Il fera paître son troupeau comme un pasteur; il rassemblera les agneaux, et il encouragera les brebis pleines.
Like a shepherd flock his he will shepherd in arm[s] his he will gather lambs and in bosom his he will carry [them] nursing [ewes] he will lead.
12 Qui a mesuré les eaux à la main, le ciel à la palme, et toute la terre à la poignée? Qui a placé les montagnes dans une balance? Qui a pesé les forêts?
Who? has he measured in [the] hollow of hand his [the] waters and [the] heavens with span has he marked off? and has he contained? in third of a measure [the] dust of the earth and has he weighed? with balance mountains and hills with scales.
13 Qui sait la pensée du Seigneur? Qui a tenu conseil avec lui pour l'instruire?
Who? has he directed [the] spirit of Yahweh and [the] person of counsel his will he inform? him.
14 Avec qui a-t-il tenu conseil, et qui l'a instruit? Qui lui a enseigné le jugement? Qui lui a montré la voie de la sagesse?
With whom? did he take counsel and did he give understanding? him and did he teach? him [the] path of justice and did he teach? him knowledge and [the] way of understanding will he inform? him.
15 Est-ce que toutes les nations ne sont pas à ses yeux comme la goutte d'eau qui s'échappe du vase? comme l'oscillation d'une balance? Ne seront- elles pas à ses yeux comme un peu de salive?
There! nations like a drop from a bucket and like [the] dust of scales they are regarded there! islands like fine [dust] he lifts.
16 Le Liban ne suffirait pas pour un bûcher; tous les quadrupèdes ne suffiraient pas pour un holocauste.
And Lebanon not [is] sufficiency of burning and animal[s] its not [is] sufficiency of burnt offering.
17 Toutes les nations sont comme un néant; elles sont comptées comme un néant à ses yeux.
All the nations [are] as nothing before him from nothingness and emptiness they are regarded by him.
18 A qui avez-vous comparé le Seigneur? A quel simulacre l'avez-vous assimilé?
And to whom? will you liken! God and what? likeness will you compare to him.
19 Est-ce qu'un artisan a jamais fait son image? Est-ce qu'un fondeur, en jetant de l'or dans un moule, l'a fait en or et a reproduit sa ressemblance?
The idol he has cast a craftsman and a metalsmith with gold he will overlay it and chains of silver [is] refining.
20 L'ouvrier a choisi un bois incorruptible; puis il cherche avec soin de quelle manière il posera sa statue, pour qu'elle ne soit point ébranlée.
The impoverished [person] a contribution wood [which] not it will rot he chooses a craftsman skillful he seeks for himself to prepare an idol [which] not it will be shaken.
21 Ne savez-vous pas cela? Ne l'avez-vous pas ouï dire? Ne vous l'a-t-on pas appris dès le commencement? Ne connaissez-vous pas les fondements de la terre?
¿ Not do you know ¿ not do you hear ¿ not has it been told from [the] beginning to you ¿ not have you understood [the] foundations of the earth.
22 C'est lui qui tient dans sa main le cercle de la terre, et, comme une nuée de sauterelles, tous ceux qui l'habitent. C'est lui qui a posé les cieux comme une voûte, et qui les a tendus comme la tente où l'on s'abrite.
The [one who] sits above [the] circle of the earth and inhabitants its [are] like grasshoppers the [one who] stretched out like curtain [the] heavens and he spread out them like tent to dwell in.
23 C'est lui par qui règnent les princes, qui sont comme un néant devant lui. C'est lui qui a créé la terre et la regarde comme un néant.
The [one who] appoints rulers to nothing judges of [the] earth like nothingness he makes.
24 Car ces princes ne planteront pas, ils ne sèmeront pas, et leur racine ne prendra pas en terre. Il a soufflé sur eux, et ils se sont desséchés; la tempête les emportera comme des broussailles.
Even not they have been planted even not they have been sown even not it has taken root in the ground rootstock their and also he blows on them and they have dried up and a tempest like chaff it carries off them.
25 Maintenant donc, à qui m'avez-vous comparé, pour que je m'en glorifie? dit le Saint.
And to whom? will you liken me and I may be equal? he says [the] holy [one].
26 Levez les yeux et voyez; qui vous a montré toutes ces choses? C'est celui qui a produit les innombrables ornements des cieux qui dans sa gloire les appelle tous par leur nom, et qui, dans la plénitude de sa puissance, ne vous a rien caché.
Lift up height eyes your and see who? did he create these the [one who] brings out by number host their all of them by name he calls from greatness of strength and a strong [one] of power any not it is missing.
27 Et toi, qu'as-tu dit, Jacob? Pourquoi as-tu ainsi parlé, Israël? Ma voix est ignorée de Dieu, et mon Dieu m'a retiré sa justice, et il s'est éloigné.
Why? do you say O Jacob so you may declare? O Israel it is hidden way my from Yahweh and from God my justice my it passes away.
28 Et maintenant n'as-tu pas appris, n'as-tu pas entendu? Dieu, c'est l'Éternel; c'est Dieu qui a assigné des limites à la terre; il ne sentira jamais la faim ni la fatigue; et il n'y a pas à pénétrer sa sagesse.
¿ Not do you know or? not have you heard [is] a God of perpetuity - Yahweh [the one who] created [the] ends of the earth not he grows weary and not he becomes weary there not [is] inquiry to understanding his.
29 C'est lui qui donne la force aux affamés, et non la tristesse à ceux qui sont dans la douleur.
[he is] giving To the weary [person] strength and to [those who] there not [is] power strength he increases.
30 Car les adolescents auront faim, les jeunes gens seront fatigués, les hommes d'élite seront affaiblis.
And they may grow weary youths so they may become weary and young men certainly they stumble.
31 Mais ceux qui attendent le Seigneur trouveront des forces nouvelles; il leur poussera des ailes comme aux aiglons; ils courront, et ne seront point fatigués; ils marcheront, et n'auront pas faim.
And [those who] wait for Yahweh they will renew strength they will go up wing[s] like eagles they will run and not they will become weary they will walk and not they will grow weary.
