Isaïe 12

1 En ce jour-là, Israël, tu diras: Je vous bénis, Seigneur, parce que vous avez été irrité contre moi; puis vous avez détourné votre colère, et vous avez eu pitié de moi.

In that day shalt thou say, “I will praise thee, O Jehovah, for, though thou hast been angry with me, Thine anger is turned away, and thou comfortest me.

2 Voici mon Dieu et mon Sauveur; je mettrai en lui ma confiance, et je serai sans crainte; parce que le Seigneur est ma gloire, il est ma louange, il est mon salut.

Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and will not be afraid; For Jehovah is my glory, and my song; It is he who was my salvation.”

3 Puisez avec joie l'eau des fontaines du salut.

Ye shall draw waters with joy from the fountains of salvation;

4 Et vous direz en ce jour: Chantez le Seigneur, célébrez son nom, annoncez sa gloire aux Gentils; souvenez-vous que son nom est glorifié.

And in that day ye shall say, “Give thanks to Jehovah; call upon his name; Make known his deeds among the people; Give praises, for his name is exalted!

5 Chantez le nom du Seigneur; car il a fait de grandes choses; publiez-les par toute la terre.

Sing to Jehovah, for he hath done glorious things; Be this known in all the earth!

6 Tressaillez d'allégresse et réjouissez-vous, peuple de Sion; car au milieu de vous a été glorifié le Saint d'Israël.

Cry aloud, shout for joy, O inhabitant of Zion, For great is the Holy One of Israel in the midst of thee!”
