Isaïe 11
1 Et il sortira un rejeton de la racine de Jessé, et de cette racine une fleur naîtra;
A shoot will come out of the stock of Jesse [My husband], and a netzer ·branch· out of his roots will bear fruit.
2 Et sur lui reposera l'Esprit de Dieu, l'esprit de sagesse et d'intelligence, l'esprit de conseil et de force, l'esprit de science et de piété;
Ruach Yahweh [Spirit, Breath of He sustains breathing] will rest on him: the ruach ·spirit, breath· of wisdom and understanding, the ruach ·spirit, breath· of counsel and might, the ruach ·spirit, breath· of knowledge and of the fear of Adonai.
3 L'esprit de crainte du Seigneur le remplira. Il ne jugera pas selon la gloire; il ne condamnera point selon la rumeur commune.
His delight will be in the fear of Adonai. He will not judge by the sight of his eyes, neither decide by the hearing of his ears;
4 Mais il rendra justice aux humbles, et il relèvera les humbles de la terre; il frappera la terre d'une parole de sa bouche, et d'un souffle de ses lèvres il détruira les impies.
but with righteousness he will judge the poor, and decide with equity for the humble of the earth. He will strike the earth with the rod of his mouth; and with the breath of his lips he will kill the wicked.
5 Il se ceindra les reins de justice, et il revêtira ses flancs de vérité.
Justice will be the belt of his waist, and faithfulness the belt of his waist.
6 Et le loup broutera avec l'agneau; et la panthère se reposera avec la chèvre; et le bœuf, le taureau et le lion brouteront ensemble; et un petit enfant les conduira.
The wolf will live with the lamb, and the leopard will lie down with the young goat; The calf, the young lion, and the fattened calf together; and a little child will lead them.
7 Ensemble brouteront l'ours et la génisse, ensemble seront leurs petits; et le lion se nourrira de paille comme le bœuf;
The cow and the bear will graze. Their young ones will lie down together. The lion will eat straw like the ox.
8 Et l'enfant au berceau mettra sa main dans les trous des aspics, dans le nid même de leurs petits.
The nursing child will play near a cobra’s hole, and the weaned child will put his hand on the viper’s den.
9 Et ils ne lui feront aucun mal, et ils ne pourront nuire à aucun des miens sur ma montagne sainte; car l'univers est plein de la connaissance du Seigneur, comme les eaux couvrent la mer.
They will not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain; for the earth will be full of the knowledge of Adonai, as the waters cover the sea.
10 Et en ce jour apparaîtra la racine de Jessé et celui qui s'élèvera pour régner sur les nations, et les nations espèreront en lui, et sa mort fera sa gloire.
It will happen in that day that the nations will seek the root of Jesse [My husband], who stands as a banner of the peoples; and his resting place will be kavod ·weighty glorious·.
11 Et en ce jour le Seigneur montrera encore sa main, et il montrera son zèle pour les restes de son peuple, échappés aux Assyriens, à l'Égypte, à Babylone, aux Éthiopiens, aux Élamites, aux peuples du Levant et aux Arabes.
It will happen in that day that 'Adonay [Lord] will set his hand again the second time to recover the remnant that is left of his people from Assyria [Level plain], from Egypt [Abode of slavery], from Pathros, from Cush, from Elam, from Shinar, from Hamath, and from the islands of the sea.
12 Et il élèvera son étendard sur les nations, et il rassemblera les égarés d'Israël, les dispersés de Juda, et il les réunira des quatre ailes de la terre.
He will set up a banner for the nations, and will assemble the outcasts of Israel [God prevails], and gather together the dispersed of Judah [Praised] from the four corners of the earth.
13 Et la jalousie d'Éphraïm sera détruite, et les ennemis de Juda périront; Éphraïm ne portera plus envie à Juda, et Juda n'affligera plus Éphraïm.
The envy also of Ephraim [Fruit] will depart, and those who persecute Judah [Praised] will be cut off. Ephraim [Fruit] won’t envy Judah [Praised], and Judah [Praised] won’t persecute Ephraim [Fruit].
14 Ils voleront sur les eaux dans les barques des Philistins; ils se feront une proie des peuples de la mer, de ceux de l'Orient et de l'Idumée, et d'abord ils mettront la main sur Moab; mais les fils d'Ammon seront les premiers soumis.
They will fly down on the shoulders of the Philistines [To roll in dust (As an insult)] on the west. Together they will plunder the children of the east. They will extend their power over Edom [Red] and Moab [From father], and the children of Ammon [Tribal people] will obey them.
15 Et le Seigneur désolera la mer d'Égypte, et au milieu d'une violente tempête il fera tomber son bras sur le fleuve, et il en frappera les sept bouches, de sorte qu'on les traversera avec des sandales.
Adonai will utterly destroy the tongue of the Sea of Egypt [Abode of slavery]; and with his scorching wind he will wave his hand over the River, and will split it into seven streams, and cause men to march over in sandals.
16 Et ce sera un passage pour mon peuple resté en Égypte, et il arrivera à Israël comme au temps où il sortit de la terre d'Égypte.
There will be a highway for the remnant that is left of his people from Assyria [Level plain], like there was for Israel [God prevails] in the day that he came up out of the land of Egypt [Abode of slavery].
