Ézéchiel 7
1 Et la parole du Seigneur vint à moi, disant:
Moreover the word of the Lord came vnto me, saying,
2 Et toi, fils de l'homme, dis: Voici ce que dit le Seigneur: La fin est venue pour la terre d'Israël; elle est venue sur les quatre ailes de la terre.
Also thou sonne of man, thus saith the Lord God, An ende is come vnto the lande of Israel: the ende is come vpon the foure corners of the lande.
3 La fin est venue
Nowe is the ende come vpon thee, and I wil sende my wrath vpon thee, and will iudge thee according to thy wayes, and will laye vpon thee all thine abominations.
4 Pour toi, habitant de la terre; le temps est venu, le jour est proche; il est venu sans troubles et sans douleurs.
Neither shall mine eye spare thee, neither will I haue pitie: but I will laye thy waies vpon thee: and thine abomination shall bee in the middes of thee, and yee shall knowe that I am the Lord.
5 Maintenant, à portée de ma main, je répandrai sur toi ma colère, j'assouvirai sur toi ma fureur, et je te jugerai pour tes voies, et je te rétribuerai pour toutes tes abominations.
Thus saith the Lord God, Beholde, one euil, euen one euill is come.
6 Mon œil sera sans pitié, et je serai sans miséricorde; car je te rétribuerai selon tes voies, et tes abominations seront au milieu de toi; et tu sauras que je suis le Seigneur, et que c'est moi qui te frappe.
An ende is come, the end is come, it watched for thee: beholde, it is come.
7 Maintenant ta fin est proche; et j'enverrai mon jugement contre toi, et je te punirai dans tes voies, et je te rétribuerai pour toutes tes abominations.
The morning is come vnto thee, that dwellest in the lande: the time is come, the day of trouble is neere, and not the sounding againe of the mountaines.
8 Mon œil sera sans pitié, et je serai sans miséricorde; car je te rétribuerai pour tes voies, et tes abominations seront au milieu de toi, et tu sauras que je suis le Seigneur.
Now I will shortly powre out my wrath vpon thee, and fulfil mine anger vpon thee: I will iudge thee according to thy wayes, and will lay vpon thee all thine abominations.
9 Car ainsi dit le Seigneur.
Neither shall mine eie spare thee, neither will I haue pitie, but I will laye vpon thee according to thy wayes, and thine abominations shalbe in the middes of thee, and ye shall knowe that I am the Lord that smiteth.
10 Voilà que la fin est venue, voilà le jour du Seigneur, puisque la verge a fleuri et que l'orgueil a germé.
Beholde, the day, beholde, it is come: the morning is gone forth, the rod florisheth: pride hath budded.
11 Et le Seigneur brisera la force de l'impie, et cela sans trouble et sans hâte.
Crueltie is risen vp into a rod of wickednes: none of them shall remaine, nor of their riches, nor of any of theirs, neither shall there bee lamentation for them.
12 Le temps est venu, voilà le jour. Que l'acheteur ne se réjouisse pas, que le vendeur ne se lamente pas.
The time is come, the day draweth neere: let not the byer reioyce, nor let him that selleth, mourne: for the wrath is vpon al the multitude thereof.
13 Car l'acheteur ne retournera pas vers le vendeur, et l'homme ne prévaudra pas avec l'œil de sa vie.
For hee that selleth, shall not returne to that which is solde, although they were yet aliue: for the vision was vnto al the multitude thereof, and they returned not, neither doeth any encourage himselfe in the punishment of his life.
14 Sonnez de la trompette, et choisissez entre toutes ces choses:
They haue blowen the trumpet, and prepared all, but none goeth to the battel: for my wrath is vpon all the multitude thereof.
15 La guerre au dehors avec le glaive, la famine et la peste au dedans; celui qui est aux champs périra par le glaive; ceux qui seront dans la ville, la famine et la peste les consumeront.
The sword is without, and the pestilence, and the famine within: he that is in the field, shall dye with the sword, and he that is in the citie, famine and pestilence shall deuoure him.
16 Et parmi eux, ceux qui se seront enfuis seront sauvés, et ils resteront dans les montagnes. Mais les autres, je les tuerai, chacun dans son iniquité.
But they that flee away from them, shall escape, and shalbe in the mountaines, like the doues of the valleis: all they shall mourne, euery one for his iniquitie.
17 Toute main sera défaillante, toute jambe souillée d'humeurs.
All handes shalbe weake, and all knees shall fall away as water.
18 Et ils ceindront des cilices, et l'effroi les couvrira; et tout visage sera confondu, et toute tête sera chauve.
They shall also girde them selues with sackecloth, and feare shall couer them, and shame shalbe vpon all faces, and baldnes vpon their heads.
19 On jettera leur argent dans les rues, on méprisera leur or; et leurs âmes n'en seront pas assouvies, et leurs entrailles n'en seront point rassasiées; car le châtiment de leurs iniquités est venu.
They shall cast their siluer in the streetes, and their golde shalbe cast farre off: their siluer and their gold can not deliuer them in the day of the wrath of the Lord: they shall not satisfie their soules, neither fill their bowels: for this ruine is for their iniquitie.
20 Leurs ornements les plus précieux, ils s'en sont servis pour satisfaire leur orgueil; ils en ont fait les images de leurs abominations. C'est pourquoi je les regarde comme choses impures.
He had also set the beautie of his ornament in maiestie: but they made images of their abominations, and of their idoles therein: therefore haue I set it farre from them.
21 Et je les livrerai aux mains des étrangers, pour les mettre au pillage, et aux fléaux de la terre, pour en être la proie; et on les tiendra choses impures.
And I will giue it into the handes of the strangers to be spoyled, and to the wicked of the earth to be robbed, and they shall pollute it.
22 Et je détournerai de ces hommes mon visage; et ils profaneront le lieu de mon repos, et ils y entreront avec insolence, et ils le profaneront.
My face will I turne also from them, and they shall pollute my secret place: for the destroyers shall enter into it, and defile it.
23 Et ils le bouleverseront; car la terre est pleine d'étrangers, et la ville pleine d'iniquités.
Make a chaine: for the lande is full of the iudgement of blood, and the citie is full of crueltie.
24 Et je ferai taire les rugissements de leur force; et leurs choses saintes seront souillées.
Wherefore I will bring the most wicked of the heathen, and they shall possesse their houses: I will also make the pompe of the mightie to cease, and their holie places shalbe defiled.
25 Et l'expiation viendra, et chacun cherchera la paix, et il n'y en aura point.
When destruction commeth, they shall seeke peace, and shall not haue it.
26 Et il y aura malheur sur malheur, message sur message; on cherchera quelque vision de prophète, et la loi périra par le prêtre, et le conseil par les anciens.
Calamitie shall come vpon calamitie, and rumour shall bee vpon rumour: then shall they seeke a vision of the Prophet: but the Lawe shall perish from the Priest, and counsel from the Ancient.
27 Le prince se revêtira de désolation; les mains du peuple seront paralysées. Je les traiterai selon leurs voies, et je les punirai selon leurs jugements, et ils sauront que je suis le Seigneur.
The King shall mourne, and the prince shall be clothed with desolation, and the handes of the people in the land shall be troubled: I wil doe vnto them according to their waies, and according to their iudgements will I iudge them, and they shall knowe that I am the Lord.
