Ézéchiel 48

1 Et voici les noms des tribus, en commençant par l'aquilon, à partir de la descente qui tire une ligne jusqu'à l'entrée d'Émath et au parvis du vestibule; tenant à Damas, vers l'aquilon, du côté du parvis d'Émath. Il y aura depuis l'orient jusqu'à la mer: Dan, une tribu;

Now these are the names of the tribes: At the edge, on the north side, along the road on the way to Chethlon, as far as Chamath, Chazar-'enan, the boundary of Damascus northward, alongside of Chamath, there shall be from the east side to the west for Dan one portion.

2 Et à partir des limites de Dan, depuis l'orient jusqu'à l'occident: Aser, une tribu;

And by the boundary of Dan, from the east side unto the west side, for Asher one portion.

3 Et à partir des limites d'Aser, depuis l'orient jusqu'à l'occident, Nephthali, une tribu;

And by the boundary of Asher, from the east side even unto the west side, for Naphtali one portion.

4 Et à partir des limites de Nephthali, depuis l'orient jusqu'à l'occident, Manassé, une tribu;

And by the boundary of Naphtali, from the east side unto the west side, for Menasseh one portion.

5 Et à partir des limites de Manassé, depuis l'orient jusqu'à l'occident, Éphraïm, une tribu;

And by the boundary of Menasseh, from the east side unto the west side, for Ephraim one portion.

6 Et à partir des limites d'Éphraïm, depuis l'orient jusqu'à l'occident, Ruben, une tribu;

And by the boundary of Ephraim, from the east side even unto the west side, for Reuben one portion.

7 Et à partir des limites de Ruben, depuis l'orient jusqu'à l'occident, Juda, une tribu;

And by the boundary of Reuben, from the east side unto the west side, for Judah one portion.

8 Et à partir des limites orientales de Juda il y aura les prémices que vous séparerez: vingt-cinq mille mesures de long et autant de large, le côté oriental étant égal à celui de l'occident, et mon sanctuaire sera au milieu de cet espace.

And by the boundary of Judah, from the east side unto the west side, shall be the oblation which ye shall set aside of five and twenty thousand rods in breadth, and in length as one of the other parts, from the east side unto the west side: and the sanctuary shall be in the midst of it.

9 Les prémices que vous séparerez pour le Seigneur auront vingt-cinq mille mesures de long, et vingt-cinq mille de large.

The oblation that ye shall set aside unto the Lord shall be in length five and twenty thousand [rods], and in breadth ten thousand.

10 On y prendra les prémices du sanctuaire pour les prêtres, savoir: vingt-cinq mille mesures du côté de l'aquilon, dix mille du côté de l'occident, vingt-cinq mille du côté du midi; et la montagne des saints sera au milieu de cet espace,

And to these shall belong the holy oblation, —namely to the priests, toward the north, five and twenty thousand rods [in length], and on the west ten thousand in breadth, and on the east ten thousand in breadth, and on the south five and twenty thousand in length: and the sanctuary of the Lord shall be in the midst of it.

11 Pour les prêtres, pour les fils sanctifiés de Sadduc, pour ceux qui gardent les offices du temple, et qui ne se sont point égarés avec les fils d'Israël, comme l'ont fait des lévites.

Unto the priests, that are sanctified, of the sons of Zadok, who have kept my charge, who went not astray when the children of Israel went astray, as the Levites went astray.

12 Et ils auront pour prémices, au milieu des prémices de la terre, le saint des saints, proche du partage des lévites.

To them shall thus belong the portion set aside of the oblation of the land as a most holy thing by the boundary of the Levites.

13 Et pour les lévites à côté du partage des prêtres, il y aura vingt-cinq mille mesures de long, sur dix mille de large; ce sera toute leur part, vingt-cinq mille mesures de long, sur dix mille de large.

And the Levites shall have alongside the boundary of the priests five and twenty thousand rods in length, and in breadth ten thousand; the whole in length five and twenty thousand, and in breadth ten thousand.

14 Il n'en sera rien vendu ni distrait; on ne pourra rien soustraire des fruits de ce territoire, parce que cette part sera consacrée au Seigneur.

But they shall not sell aught thereof, or exchange, or alienate this first portion of the land; for it is holy unto the Lord.

15 Et les cinq mille mesures de surplus sur le total de la largeur, qui est de vingt-cinq mille coudées, seront occupées par le faubourg de la ville, par ses maisons et son esplanade, et la ville sera au milieu de cet espace.

And the five thousand rods, that are left in the breadth, with a length of five and twenty thousand, shall be an unconsecrated land for the city, for dwelling, and for an open space: and the city shall be in the midst thereof.

16 Voici maintenant les dimensions de la ville: du côté de l'aquilon, quatre mille cinq cents mesures; du côté du midi, quatre mille cinq cents; du côté de l'orient, quatre mille cinq cents; et du côté de l'occident, quatre mille cinq cents.

And these shall be its measures: The north side four thousand and five hundred [rods], and the south side four thousand and five hundred, and on the east side four thousand and five hundred, and the west side four thousand and five hundred.

17 Et du côté de l'aquilon il y aura, à la ville, une esplanade de deux cent cinquante mesures, et trois autres de même dimension au midi, à l'orient et à l'occident.

And the open space of the city shall be toward the north two hundred and fifty [rods], and toward the south two hundred and fifty, and toward the east two hundred and fifty, and toward the west two hundred and fifty.

18 Et le reste de la longueur, consacré aux prémices des saints, sera de dix mille mesures à l'orient, et de dix mille à l'occident: telles seront les prémices des saints; et de leurs récoltes on donnera du pain à ceux qui rendent des services dans la ville.

And the produce of the residue in length alongside the holy oblation ten thousand rods eastward, and ten thousand westward, that which is alongside the holy oblation, shall be for food unto the laborers of the city.

19 Et ceux qui rendront ainsi des services dans la ville même seront de toutes les tribus d'Israël.

And the laborers of the city, men taken out of all the tribes of Israel, shall till it.

20 Les prémices entières auront donc vingt-cinq mille mesures de long, et vingt-cinq mille de large. Vous séparerez du territoire que possèdera la ville ce carré pour les prémices des saints.

All the oblation, five and twenty thousand [rods] by five and twenty thousand square, shall ye set apart as the holy oblation, with the possession of the city.

21 Or ce qui restera de ce carré, à partir du sanctuaire, sera pour le prince; il sera compris dans le territoire de la ville, sur une longueur de vingt-cinq mille mesures jusqu'à ses limites du côté de l'orient et de l'occident, et sur vingt-cinq mille de large jusqu'aux limites du côté de l'occident, tenant à la part du prince. Et ce seront les prémices des saints; et au milieu d'elles il y aura le sanctuaire du temple.

And the residue shall belong to the prince, on the one side and on the other of the holy oblation, and of the possession of the city, alongside of the five and twenty thousand of the oblation toward the eastern boundary, and westward alongside the five and twenty thousand toward the western boundary, alongside the portions [of the tribes]; for the prince [shall it be]: and so shall be the holy oblation; and the sanctuary of the house shall be in the midst thereof.

22 Et la part des lévites et le territoire de la ville, an milieu duquel sera la part du prince, seront entre les limites de Juda et les limites de Benjamin; ce sera la résidence des princes.

And both the possession of the Levites, and the possession of the city, shall be in the midst of that which belongeth to the prince: between the boundary of Judah and the boundary of Benjamin, shall be for the prince.

23 Or voici la part du reste des tribus, depuis l'orient jusqu'à l'occident, Benjamin, une tribu;

As for the rest of the tribes, from the east side unto the west side, shall be for Benjamin one portion.

24 À partir des limites de Benjamin, depuis l'orient jusqu'à l'occident, Siméon, une tribu;

And by the boundary of Benjamin, from the east side unto the west side, for Simeon one portion.

25 À partir des limites de Siméon, depuis l'orient jusqu'à l'occident, Issachar, une tribu;

And by the boundary of Simeon, from the east side unto the west side, for Issachar one portion.

26 À partir des limites d'Issachar, depuis l'orient jusqu'à l'occident, Zabulon, une tribu;

And by the boundary of Issachar, from the east side unto the west side, for Zebulun one portion.

27 À partir des limites de Zabulon, depuis l'orient jusqu'à l'occident, Gad, une tribu;

And by the boundary of Zebulun, from the east side unto the west side, for Gad one portion.

28 À partir des limites de Gad, depuis l'orient, et tournant vers le midi, seront les confins de Théman et les eaux de Barimoth-Cadès, et l'héritage d'Israël finira à la grande mer.

And by the boundary of Gad, on the southern side toward the south, shall be the boundary from Thamar unto the waters of contention of Kadesh, unto the brook by the Great Sea.

29 Telle est la terre que vous vous partagerez au sort entre les tribus d'Israël, et tels seront les lots, dit le Seigneur Dieu.

This is the land which ye shall divide by lot for an inheritance to the tribes of Israel, and these are their allotted divisions, saith the Lord Eternal.

30 Or voici les issues de la ville: celles du côté de l'aquilon, sur une longueur de quatre mille cinq cents mesures.

And these are the outlines of the city: On the north side, five hundred and four thousand rods, by the measure.

31 Les portes de la ville prendront les noms des tribus d'Israël; il y aura trois portes à l'aquilon: la porte de Ruben, la porte de Juda, la porte de Lévi.

And of the gates of the city, being after the names of the tribes of Israel, shall be three gates on the north: the gate of Reuben one, the gate of Judah one, the gate of Levi one.

32 Celles de l'orient, percées dans une longueur de quatre mille cinq cents mesures, seront au nombre de trois: la porte de Joseph, la porte de Benjamin, la porte de Dan.

And on the east side, five hundred and four thousand rods, with three gates: namely, the gate of Joseph one, the gate of Benjamin one, the gate of Dan one.

33 Celles du midi, percées dans une longueur de quatre mille cinq cents mesures, seront au nombre de trois: la porte de Siméon, la porte d'Issachar, la porte de Zabulon.

And the south side, five hundred and four thousand rode by the measure, with three gates: the gate of Simeon one, the gate of Issachar one, the gate of Zebulun one.

34 Celles du côté de l'occident, percées dans une longueur de quatre mille cinq cents mesures, seront au nombre de trois: la porte de Gad, la porte d'Aser, la porte de Nephthali.

The west side, five hundred and four thousand rods, with their three gates: the gate of Gad one, the gate of Asher one, the gate of Naphtali one.

35 L'enceinte entière aura dix-huit mille mesures, et, à partir de ce jour, le nom de la ville sera: C'est le nom du Seigneur.

All around it shall be eighteen thousand rods: and the name of the city shall be from that day “The Lord is there.”
