Ézéchiel 27
1 Et la parole du Seigneur me vint, disant:
The worde of the Lord came againe vnto me, saying,
2 Et toi, fils de l'homme, chante sur Tyr une lamentation.
Sonne of man, take vp a lametation for Tyrus,
3 Et dis à cette Tyr, qui réside à l'entrée de la mer, dis à ce marché des peuples venant d'une multitude d'îles: Ainsi parle le Seigneur à Tyr: Tu as dit: C'est de moi-même que je tiens ma beauté.
And say vnto Tyrus, that is situate at the entrie of the sea, which is the marte of the people for many yles, Thus sayeth the Lord God, O Tyrus, thou hast said, I am of perfite beautie.
4 Au cœur de la mer, tes fils t'ont revêtue de beauté pour te consacrer à Baal.
Thy borders are in the middes of the sea, and thy builders haue made thee of perfit beauty.
5 Le cèdre de Sénir a servi à construire tes vaisseaux; tes planches ont été prises en des poutres de cyprès du Liban, et pour faire tes mâts on a employé des sapins.
They haue made all thy shippe boardes of firre trees of Shenir: they haue brought cedars from Lebanon, to make mastes for thee.
6 On a fait tes rames de bois de Basan; on a fait en ivoire tes choses saintes, et tes chambres ombragées d'arbres en bois des Iles de Cétim.
Of ye okes of Bashan haue they made thine ores: the company of the Assyrians haue made thy banks of yuorie, brought out of ye yles of Chittim.
7 Le fin lin d'Égypte avec des broderies a formé ta couche; il en a été l'ornement; tu as été vêtue d'hyacinthe et de la pourpre des îles d'Élisa; c'était là ton manteau.
Fine linen with broydered woorke, brought from Egypt, was spread ouer thee to be thy sayle, blue silke and purple, brought from the yles of Elishah, was thy couering.
8 Et tes princes, ceux qui habitent Sidon, et ceux d'Arad, te servaient de rameurs; et tes sages, ô Tyr, ceux qui résidaient en toi, étaient là tes pilotes.
The inhabitants of Zidon, and Aruad were thy mariners, O Tyrus: thy wise men that were in thee, they were thy pilots.
9 Les anciens de Biblos et leurs sages, ceux qui étaient en toi, ceux-là fortifiaient ton conseil. Et tous les navires de la mer, et tous leurs rameurs trafiquaient pour toi, jusqu'aux confins de l'Occident.
The ancients of Gebal, and the wise men thereof were in thee thy calkers, all the shippes of the sea with their mariners were in thee to occupie thy marchandise.
10 Les Perses, les Lydiens, les Libyens étaient dans ton armée; tes hommes de guerre avaient suspendu chez toi leurs boucliers et leurs casques, pour servir à ta gloire.
They of Persia, and of Lud and of Phut were in thine armie: thy men of warre they hanged the shielde and helmet in thee: they set foorth thy beautie.
11 Les fils d'Arad et ton armée étaient sur tes remparts; ils faisaient bonne garde sur tes tours; ils avaient suspendu leurs carquois autour de tes édifices; c'était l'achèvement de ta beauté.
The men of Aruad with thine armie were vpon thy walles round about, and the Gammadims were in thy towres: they hanged their shields vpon thy walles round about: they haue made thy beautie perfite.
12 Les Carthaginois, par leur trafic, t'apportaient une grande part de tes richesses; ils remplissaient ton marché d'argent, d'or, de fer, d'étain et de plomb.
They of Tarshish were thy marchantes for the multitude of all riches, for siluer, yron, tynne, and leade, which they brought to thy faires.
13 La Grèce tout entière et ses colons entraient chez toi avec des âmes d'hommes, et ils apportaient sur ton marché des vases d'airain.
They of Iauan, Tubal and Meshech were thy marchants, concerning the liues of men, and they brought vessels of brasse for thy marchadise.
14 Ils t'amenaient des chevaux de Thogarma et des cavaliers.
They of the house of Togarmah brought to thy faires horses, and horsemen, and mules.
15 Les fils des Rhodiens trafiquaient avec toi; ils multipliaient sur ton marché ce qui provenait des îles; ils t'apportaient des dents d'éléphants; et à ceux qui entraient chez toi, tu donnais des marchandises en échange:
The men of Dedan were thy marchantes: and the marchandise of many yles were in thine handes: they brought thee for a present hornes, teeth, and peacockes.
16 Des esclaves pris dans la multitude de ceux que tu avais à vendre, de l'huile de myrrhe et des broderies de Tharsis; Rhamoth et Chorchor approvisionnaient aussi ton marché.
They of Aram were thy marchants for the multitude of thy wares: they occupied in thy faires with emerauds, purple, and broidred worke, and fine linen, and corall, and pearle.
17 Juda et les fils d'Israël trafiquaient avec toi; ils te vendaient du blé, des parfums et de la cannelle; ils t'apportaient le meilleur miel, de l'huile et de la résine pour tes marchands.
They of Iudah and of the land of Israel were thy marchants: they brought for thy marchandise wheat of Minnith, and Pannag, and honie and oyle, and balme.
18 Damas trafiquait avec toi; ils t'achetaient une part de la multitude de tes marchandises, du vin de Chelbon, des laines de Milet.
They of Damascus were thy marchants in ye multitude of thy wares, for the multitude of all riches, as in the wine of Helbon and white wooll.
19 Et ils apportaient du vin sur ton marché. D'Asel venaient chez tes marchands du fer travaillé et des roues.
They of Dan also and of Iauan, going to and from, occupied in thy faires: yron woorke, cassia and calamus were among thy marchandise.
20 Dédan trafiquait avec toi; elle t'amenait des bêtes de somme, choisies pour les chars.
They of Dedan were thy marchants in precious clothes for the charets.
21 L'Arabie et tous les princes de Cédar trafiquaient avec toi; ils venaient chez toi avec des chameaux, des agneaux et des béliers.
They of Arabia, and all the princes of Kedar occupied with thee, in lambes, and rammes and goates: in these were they thy marchants.
22 Les marchands de Saba et de Rhamma trafiquaient avec toi; ils apportaient à ton marché les épices les plus recherchées, des pierres précieuses et de l'or.
The marchats of Sheba, and Raamah were thy marchantes: they occupied in thy faires with the chiefe of all spices, and with al precious stones and golde.
23 Charrha et Chanaa trafiquaient avec toi; Assur et Charman trafiquaient avec toi.
They of Haram and Canneh and Eden, the marchants of Sheba, Asshur and Chilmad were thy marchants.
24 Ils t'apportaient de l'hyacinthe et des ballots de marchandises précieuses, attachés avec des cordes, et des bois de cyprès
These were thy marchants in all sortes of things, in raiment of blewe silke, and of broydred woorke, and in coffers for the rich apparell, which were bound with cordes: chaines also were among thy marchandise.
25 Pour en faire des navires. Ceux qui trafiquaient avec toi se mêlaient à la multitude de tes marchands, et tu étais remplie et pesamment chargée au cœur de la mer.
The shippes of Tarshish were thy chiefe in thy marchandise, and thou wast replenished and made very glorious in the middes of the sea.
26 Tes rameurs t'ont conduite dans les grandes eaux; et le souffle du midi t'a brisée au cœur de la mer.
Thy robbers haue brought thee into great waters: the East winde hath broken thee in the middes of the sea.
27 Tes richesses, tes trésors, ceux de tes marchands; tes rameurs, tes pilotes, tes conseillers; ces hommes qui trafiquent avec toi, ces guerriers qui sont chez toi, toute la multitude rassemblée en toi, tomberont au cœur de la mer le jour de ta ruine.
Thy riches and thy faires, thy marchandise, thy mariners and pilotes, thy calkers, and the occupiers of thy marchandise and al thy men of warre that are in thee, and all thy multitude which is in the middes of thee, shall fall in the middes of the sea in the day of thy ruine.
28 Au cri de ta voix, tes pilotes seront frappés d'épouvante.
The suburbes shall shake at the sound of the crie of thy pilotes.
29 Tous tes rameurs, tous tes matelots descendront des navires; tous les pilotes de la mer resteront sur le rivage.
And all that handle the ore, the mariners and al the pilots of the sea shall come downe from their shippes, and shall stand vpon the land,
30 Et ils te plaindront à haute voix, et ils crieront amèrement, et ils mettront de la poussière sur leurs têtes, et ils se couvriront de cendre.
And shall cause their voyce to be heard against thee, and shall cry bitterly, and shall cast dust vpon their heads, and wallow theselues in the ashes.
31 Et leurs fils feront sur toi une lamentation, une complainte sur Tyr, disant:
They shall plucke off their heare for thee and gird them with a sackecloth, and they shall weepe for thee with sorow of heart and bitter mourning.
32 Et leurs fils feront sur toi une lamentation, une complainte sur Tyr, disant:
And in their mourning, they shall take vp a lametation for thee, saying, What citie is like Tyrus, so destroied in the middes of the sea!
33 Quel profit as-tu retiré de la mer? Tu avais rempli de ton abondance toutes les nations; tu avais enrichi par ton trafic tous les rois de la terre.
When thy wares went foorth of the seas, thou filledst many people, and thou diddest enrich the Kings of the earth with the multitude of thy riches and of thy marchandise.
34 Maintenant tu es brisée dans la mer; tes trafiquants sont au fond de l'abîme, avec toute la multitude assemblée en toi.
When thou shalt be broken by ye seas in the depths of the waters, thy marchandise and all thy multitude, which was in the mids of thee, shall fal.
35 Tous tes rameurs sont tombés; tous les habitants des îles se sont affligés sur toi; leurs rois ont été saisis de stupeur, et leur visage s'est couvert de larme.
All the inhabitantes of the yles shall be astonished at thee, and all their Kings shall be sore afraide and troubled in their countenance.
36 Les marchands des nations t'ont sifflée; tu es perdue, et tu ne seras plus dans les siècles.
The marchants among the people shall hisse at thee: thou shalt be a terrour, and neuer shalt be any more.
