Exode 28
1 Fais aussi venir vers toi Aaron, ton frère, et ses fils pour que, parmi les fils d'Israël, Aaron, Nabad, Abiu, Eléazar et Ithamar, fils d'Aaron, soient mes prêtres.
And you bring near to yourself Aaron brother your and sons his with him from among [the] people of Israel to serve as priest he to me Aaron Nadab and Abihu Eleazar and Ithamar [the] sons of Aaron.
2 Et tu feras des vêtements sacrés pour Aaron, ton frère, en signe de gloire et d'honneur.
And you will make garments of holiness for Aaron brother your for glory and for beauty.
3 Parle aux sages d'intelligence, à ceux que j'ai remplis de l'esprit de sagesse; qu'ils fassent la tunique sacrée d'Aaron, avec laquelle il exercera, dans le lieu saint, mon sacerdoce.
And you you will speak to all [people] skillful of heart which I have filled it a spirit of wisdom and they will make [the] garments of Aaron to consecrate him to serve as priest he to me.
4 Voici les vêtements qu'ils feront: le rational, l’éphiod, la longue robe, la tunique garnie d'une frange, la tiare et la ceinture; ils feront les vêtements sacrés d'Aaron et de ses fils, pour qu'ils exercent mon sacerdoce.
And these [are] the garments which they will make a breastpiece and an ephod and a robe and a tunic of checkered work a turban and a sash and they will make garments of holiness for Aaron brother your and for sons his to serve as priest he to me.
5 Et ils emploieront l'or, l'hyacinthe, la pourpre, l'écarlate et le lin.
And they they will take the gold and the violet stuff and the purple and [the] scarlet stuff of the scarlet and the fine linen.
6 L'éphod sera en fin lin retors, tissu du brodeur.
And they will make the ephod gold violet stuff and purple scarlet stuff of scarlet and fine linen twisted [the] work of a skillful worker.
7 L'éphod sera de deux pièces jointes l’une à l'autre, et attachées sur les côtés.
Two shoulder-pieces joined it will be[long] to it to [the] two ends its and it will be joined together.
8 Et le tissu des deux pièces dont il se couvrira, sera d'or pur, d'hyacinthe, de pourpre, d'écarlate filé et de lin retors.
And [the] girdle of ephod its which [will be] on it [will be] like workmanship its from it it will be gold violet stuff and purple and scarlet stuff of scarlet and fine linen twisted.
9 Tu prendras deux pierres fines d'émeraude, et tu graveras les noms des fils d'Israël:
And you will take two stones of onyx and you will engrave on them [the] names of [the] sons of Israel.
10 Six noms sur l’une des deux pierres, et les six autres noms sur la seconde pierre, selon l'ordre de leur naissance:
Six of names their [will be] on the stone one and [the] names of the six which remain over [will be] on the stone second according to genealogies their.
11 Œuvre d'art de travailler la pierre; tu y graveras les noms des fils d'Israël comme on grave un cachet.
[the] work of An engraver of stone [the] engravings of a seal you will engrave [the] two the stones on [the] names of [the] sons of Israel surrounded filigree settings of gold you will make them.
12 Et tu mettras les deux pierres sur les épaulières de l'éphod, pour servir de mémorial aux fils d'Israël. Aaron portera les noms des fils d'Israël sur ses deux épaules; c'est un mémorial pour eux.
And you will put [the] two the stones on [the] shoulder-pieces of the ephod stones of reminder for [the] sons of Israel and he will bear Aaron names their before Yahweh on [the] two shoulder-pieces his to a reminder.
13 Tu feras aussi des boucles en or pur,
And you will make filigree settings of gold.
14 Et deux petites chaînes d'or pur tressé, mêlées de fleurs, et tu passeras ces chaînes tressées dans les boucles, pour qu'elles soient fixées sur l'éphod par devant.
And two chains of gold pure twisted cords you will make them a work of cordage and you will put [the] chains of the cords on the filigree settings.
15 Et tu feras le rational du jugement, œuvre du brodeur, selon la mesure de l'éphod; tu le feras d'or, d'hyacinthe, de pourpre, d'écarlate filé, et de lin filé.
And you will make a breastpiece of judgment [the] work of a skillful worker like [the] work of [the] ephod you will make it gold violet stuff and purple and scarlet stuff of scarlet and fine linen twisted you will make it.
16 Tu le feras carré; il sera double, long d'un palme, large d'un palme.
Square it will be folded double [will be] a span length its and [will be] a span breadth its.
17 Et tu y entrelaceras un tissu, enchâssant quatre rangée de pierres; il y aura une rangée de cornaline, de topaze et d'émeraude: première rangée.
And you will fill in it a setting of stone[s] four rows stone [will be] a row of a ruby a topaz and a beryl the row one.
18 La seconde rangée sera d'escarboucle, de saphir, de jaspe.
And the row second [will be] a turquoise a sapphire and an emerald.
19 La troisième de ligure, d'agate, d'améthyste.
And the row third [will be] a jacinth an agate and an amethyst.
20 La quatrième de chrysolite, de béryl et d'onyx; ces pierres seront montées sur or, enchâssées dans l'or. Les pierres seront ainsi rangées par ordre, et
And the row fourth [will be] a chrysolite and an onyx and a jasper set gold they will be in settings their.
21 Porteront les noms des fils d'Israël douze pierres, douze noms gravés comme on grave un cachet; chacune aura le nom d'une des douze tribus d'Israël.
And the stones they will be on [the] names of [the] sons of Israel two [plus] ten on names their [the] engravings of a seal each one on name its they will be for [the] two [plus] ten tribe[s].
22 Et tu feras, sur le rational, des chaînes tressée, ouvrage en mailles d'or pur,
And you will make on the breastpiece chains of twisting a work of cordage gold pure.
And you will make on the breastpiece two rings of gold and you will put [the] two the rings on [the] two [the] ends of the breastpiece.
And you will put [the] two [the] cords of gold on [the] two the rings to [the] ends of the breastpiece.
And [the] two [the] ends of [the] two the cords you will put on [the] two the filigree settings and you will put [them] on [the] shoulder-pieces of the ephod to [the] front of face its.
And you will make two rings of gold and you will put them on [the] two [the] ends of the breastpiece on edge its which [is] to [the] side of the ephod [the] inside towards.
And you will make two rings of gold and you will put them on [the] two [the] shoulder-pieces of the ephod from to downwards from in front of face its close to joining its from above [the] girdle of the ephod.
So they may bind the breastpiece (from rings its *Q(K)*) to [the] rings of the ephod with a cord of violet stuff to be on [the] girdle of the ephod and not it will be displaced the breastpiece from on the ephod.
29 Et Aaron portera les noms des fils d'Israël sur le rational du jugement et sur sa poitrine lorsqu'il entrera dans le saint; c'est un mémorial devant Dieu. Et tu mettras sur le rational du jugement les chaînes; les tresses de chaque côté du rational et tu mettras les deux boucles sur les deux épaules de l'éphod, sur le devant.
And he will bear Aaron [the] names of [the] sons of Israel on [the] breastpiece of judgment over heart his when goes he into the holy place to a memorial before Yahweh continually.
30 Tu mettras sur le rational du jugement: Manifestation et Vérité; et le rational sera sur la poitrine d'Aaron lorsqu'il entrera dans le saint devant le Seigneur. Et Aaron portera toujours sur sa poitrine, le jugement des fils d'Israël devant le Seigneur.
And you will put into [the] breastpiece of judgment the Urim and the Thummim and they will be over [the] heart of Aaron when goes he before Yahweh and he will bear Aaron [the] judgment of [the] people of Israel over heart his before Yahweh continually.
31 Et tu feras tout entière en hyacinthe la longue robe qui sera portée sous l'éphod.
And you will make [the] robe of the ephod an entirety of violet stuff.
32 Elle, aura au milieu une ouverture, et cette ouverture, ronde, sera bordée d'un collet; œuvre tissée, formant la lisière du tissu entier, pour qu'elle ne se déchire point.
And it will be [the] opening of top its in [the] middle of it an edge it will be[long] to opening its all around [the] work a weaver like [the] opening of a collar it will be[long] to it not it will be torn.
33 Et tu feras, sous la bordure de la robe au bas, en hyacinthe, pourpre, écarlate filé et lin filé, tout autour de la robe de dessous, des grenades fleuries d'où sortiront de petits boutons de grenades. Il y aura aussi de semblables boutons de grenades en or, et il y aura entre eux tout autour de petites clochettes.
And you will make on skirt its pomegranates of violet stuff and purple and scarlet stuff of scarlet on skirt its all around and bells of gold [will be] in between them all around.
34 Une clochette suivra chaque bouton de grenade qui semblera fleurir sous la bordure de la robe de dessous, tout alentour.
A bell of gold and a pomegranate a bell of gold and a pomegranate [will be] on [the] skirts of the robe all around.
35 Et lorsque Aaron, exerçant le sacerdoce, entrera dans le sanctuaire devant le Seigneur ou en sortira, la son des clochettes se fera entendre, pour qu'il ne meure pas.
And it will be on Aaron to serve and it will be heard sound its when goes he into the holy place before Yahweh and when comes out he and not he will die.
36 Tu feras une plaque d'or pur, et tu y graveras, comme on grave sur un cachet: SAINTETÉ DU SEIGNEUR.
And you will make a plate of gold pure and you will engrave on it [the] engravings of a seal holiness to Yahweh.
37 Tu la poseras sur de l'hyacinthe file; et elle sera sur la tiare, par devant.
And you will put it on a cord of violet stuff and it will be on the turban to [the] front of [the] face of the turban it will be.
38 Elle sera sur le front d'Aaron, et Aaron citera les péchés de leurs choses saintes, les manquements de toutes les choses saintes que consacreront les fils d'Israël. Et elle sera toujours sur le front d'Aaron, afin que le Seigneur leur soit favorable.
And it will be on [the] forehead of Aaron and he will bear Aaron [the] guilt of the holy things which they will consecrate [the] people of Israel to all [the] gifts of holiness their and it will be on forehead his continually for acceptance to them before Yahweh.
39 Les franges qui garniront les vêtements, seront de lin, et la tiare aussi sera de lin, et la ceinture sera un ouvrage de broderie.
And you will weave the tunic fine linen and you will make a turban of fine linen and a sash you will make [the] work of a worker in colors.
40 En outre, tu feras, pour les fils d'Aaron, des tuniques et des ceintures, et tu leur feras des mitres, en signe de gloire et d'honneur.
And for [the] sons of Aaron you will make tunics and you will make for them sashes and headdresses you will make for them for glory and for beauty.
41 Tu en vêtiras Aaron, ton frère, et après lui ses fils; puis, tu les oindras, tu consacreras leurs mains, et tu les sanctifieras, afin qu'ils remplissent les fonctions de prêtres devant moi.
And you will clothe them Aaron brother your and sons his with him and you will anoint them and you will fill hand their and you will consecrate them and they will serve as priests me.
42 Tu leur feras aussi des caleçons de lin pour cacher la nudité de leur chair; les caleçons descendront de la hanche, aux genoux.
And make for them undergarments of linen to cover [the] flesh of nakedness from [the] hips and to [the] thighs they will be.
43 Aaron et ses fils les auront lorsqu'ils entreront dans le tabernacle du témoignage, ou lorsqu'ils iront sacrifier à l'autel du saint. Ainsi, ils ne se rendront pas coupables de péché, et ils ne mourront pas; c'est une loi perpétuelle pour Aaron et pour sa race après lui.
And they will be on Aaron and on sons his when go they - into [the] tent of meeting or when draw near they to the altar to serve in the holy place and not they will bear guilt and they will die [it will be] a statute of perpetuity for him and for offspring his after him.
