Exode 27

1 Tu feras ensuite un autel de bois incorruptible, long de cinq coudées, large de cinq coudées; il aura quatre faces, et trois coudées de haut.

And thou shalt make the altar of shittim wood: five cubits long, and five cubits broad, a foursquare shall the altar be, and three cubits shall be its height.

2 Tu feras des cornes aux quatre angles du haut; les cornes seront en saillie, et revêtues d'airain.

And thou shalt make its horns on its four corners, from itself shall its horns be; and thou shalt overlay it with copper.

3 Tu feras une couronne à l'autel; et tu feras en airain sa table, et ses burettes, et ses réchauds, et ses crochets, et tous ses ustensiles.

And thou shalt make its pots to receive its ashes, and its shovels, and its basins, and its forks, and its fire-pans; all its vessels thou shalt make of copper.

4 Tu feras aussi, pour l'autel, une grille d'airain à mailles; et tu feras, pour les quatre angles, quatre anneaux d'airain,

And thou shalt make for it a grating, of a network of copper; and thou shalt make upon the net four rings of copper, on its four corners.

5 Que tu mettras au-dessous de la grille de l'autel; et la grille s'étendra jusqu'au milieu de celui-ci.

And thou shalt put it under the compass of the altar beneath, and the net shall reach even to the half of the altar.

6 Tu feras pour l'autel des leviers de bois incorruptible, que tu revêtiras d'airain,

And thou shalt make staves for the altar, staves of shittim wood, and overlay them with copper.

7 Et que tu introduiras dans les anneaux, le long des côtés de l'autel, pour l'enlever.

And the staves shall be put into the rings, and the staves shall be upon the two sides of the altar, when they bear it.

8 Tu feras l'autel creux et en panneaux, selon le modèle qui t'a été montré sur la montagne; c'est ainsi que tu le feras.

Hollow, of boards, shalt thou make it; as it was shown to thee on the mount, so shall they make it.

9 Tu formeras, pour le tabernacle, un parvis du côté du sud; les tentures du parvis seront de lin filé, longues de cent coudées de ce côté.

And thou shalt make the court of the tabernacle: for the south side, on the right, the hangings for the court, of twisted linen, shall be a hundred cubits in length, for the one side.

10 Il aura vingt colonnes avec vingt bases; leurs anneaux et les agrafes seront revêtus d'argent.

And its pillars shall be twenty, with their twenty sockets of copper; the hooks of the pillars and their fillets shall be of silver.

11 De même, du côté du nord, la tenture sera de cent coudées de long, avec vingt colonnes, et leurs vingt bases d'airain; et tu revêtiras d’argent les bases, les anneaux et les agrafes.

And likewise for the north side in the length there shall be hangings one hundred cubits in length, and its pillars twenty with their twenty sockets of copper; the hooks of the pillars and their fillets shall be of silver.

12 La largeur du parvis, du côté de la mer, sera de cinquante coudées, avec dix colonnes et dix bases.

And [for] the breadth of the court on the west side shall be fifty cubits of hangings; their pillars shall be ten, and their sockets ten.

13 La largeur du parvis, à l'orient, sera de cinquante coudées, avec dix colonnes et dix bases.

And the breadth of the court on the front side, eastward, shall be fifty cubits.

14 Et les tentures du parvis auront, d'un côté, douze coudées de haut, avec trois colonnes et trois bases.

And fifteen cubits of hangings shall be on the one wing; their pillars shall be three and their sockets three.

15 De l'autre côté, les tentures auront quinze coudées, avec trois colonnes et trois bases.

And on the other wing shall be fifteen cubits of hangings; their pillars shall be three, and their sockets three.

16 À la porte du parvis, il y aura un voile haut de vingt coudées en hyacinthe, pourpre, écarlate filé et lin filé, avec broderies à l'aiguille; il aura quatre colonnes et quatre bases.

And for the gate of the court shall be a hanging of twenty cubits, of blue, and purple, and scarlet yarn, and twisted linen, the work of the embroiderer; with four pillars for the same, and their four sockets.

17 Toutes les colonnes, autour du parvis, seront revêtues d'argent; elles auront des chapiteaux d'argent, et des bases d'airain.

All the pillars round about the court shall be filleted with silver; their hooks shall be of silver and their sockets of copper.

18 Le parvis aura, des deux côtés, cent coudées de long, et devant et derrière cinquante coudées de large; ses tentures auront en hauteur vingt-cinq coudées, et les colonnes auront des bases d'airain.

The length of the court shall be one hundred cubits, and the breadth fifty by fifty, and the height five cubits, of twisted linen, and the sockets for the same of copper.

19 Et tout l’ameublement, et tous les ustensiles, et les piquets du parvis seront d'airain.

All the vessels of the tabernacle in all the service thereof, and all its pins, and all the pins of the court, shall be of copper.

20 Ordonne encore aux fils d'Israël de te donner de l’huile d'olive, sans lie, pure, pilée au mortier, pour brûler et éclairer; car la lampe doit brûler toujours,

And thou shalt command the children of Israel, that they bring thee pure olive oil, beaten out, for the lighting, to cause a light to burn always.

21 Dans le tabernacle du témoignage, devant le voile de l'alliance; Aaron et ses fils la feront brûler devant le Seigneur du soir au matin. C'est une loi perpétuelle pour toutes les générations des fils d'Israël.

In the tabernacle of the congregation, without the vail, which is before the testimony, shall Aaron with his sons arrange it [for] from the evening to the morning, before the Lord; as a statute for ever unto their generations, on behalf of the children of Israel.
