Exode 12
1 Et le Seigneur parla à Moïse et à son frère, en la terre d'Égypte, disant:
Also the Lord seide to Moises and Aaron in the lond of Egipt,
2 Cette lune est pour vous le commencement des lunes, la première des lunes de l'année.
This monethe, the bigynnyng of monethis to you, schal be the firste in the monethis of the yeer.
3 Parle à toute la synagogue des fils d'Israël, disant: Que le dixième jour de cette lune chacun de vous prenne une tête de son bétail dans sa maison paternelle; chacun une victime par maison.
Speke ye to al the cumpanye of the sones of Israel, and seie ye to hem, In the tenthe dai of this monethe ech man take a lomb by hise meynees and housis;
4 Que ceux qui sont en leurs maisons trop peu nombreux pour consommer une victime, s'associent à leurs plus proches voisins, selon le nombre des âmes, afin de compléter le nombre nécessaire.
but if the noumbre is lesse, that it may not suffice to ete the lomb, he schal take his neiybore, which is ioyned to his hows, bi the noumbre of soulis, that moun suffice to the etyng of the lomb.
5 La victime sera sans tache, mâle et d'un an; vous la prendrez parmi les agneaux et les chevreaux.
Forsothe the lomb schal be a male of o yeer, without wem; bi which custom ye schulen take also a kide;
6 Vous la garderez jusqu'au quatorzième jour de la lune, et sur le soir, chez tout le peuple des fils d'Israël, on l'égorgera.
and ye schulen kepe hym til to the fouretenthe dai of this monethe; and al the multitude of the sones of Israel schal offre hym at euentid.
7 Chacun prendra de son sang, et en mettra sur les deux montants de la porte et sur le seuil de la maison en laquelle il l'aura mangée.
And thei schulen take of his blood, and schulen put on euer either post, and in lyntels, `ether hiyer threschfoldis, of the housis, in whiche thei schulen ete hym;
8 Cette nuit-là on mangera les chairs rôties au feu; l'on mangera aussi des azymes avec des laitues amères.
and in that niyt thei schulen ete fleischis, roostid with fier, and therf looues, with letusis of the feeld.
9 Vous ne mangerez les chairs ni crues ni bouillies dans l'eau, mais seulement rôties au feu; vous mangerez la tête, les pieds et les viscères.
Ye schulen not ete therof ony raw thing, nether sodun in watir, but roostid oneli by fier; ye schulen deuoure the heed with feet and entrailis therof;
10 Que rien n'en reste au matin; vous ne broierez pas non plus les os; et ce qui resterait au matin, vous le consumerez par le feu.
nether ony thing therof schal abide til the morewtid; if ony thing is residue, ye schulen brenne in the fier.
11 Vous mangerez ainsi: les reins ceints, les sandales aux pieds, le bâton à la main, et vous mangerez à la hâte: c'est la pâque du Seigneur.
Forsothe thus ye schulen ete hym; ye schulen girde youre reynes, and ye schulen haue schoon in the feet, and ye schulen holde stauys in hondis, and ye schulen ete hastili; for it is fase, that is, the passyng of the Lord.
12 En cette nuit-là, je traverserai toute l'Égypte, je frapperai tout premier-né en la terre d'Égypte, depuis les hommes jusqu'aux bestiaux, et j'exercerai ma justice sur tous les dieux des Égyptiens, moi le Seigneur.
And Y schal passe thorou the lond of Egipt in that niyt, and Y schal smyte al the firste gendrid thing in the lond of Egipt, fro man til to beeste; and Y the Lord schal make domes in alle the goddis of Egipt.
13 Alors, le sang sera pour vous un signe sur les maisons où vous demeurez; je verrai ce sang, et je vous sauverai, et il n'y aura point parmi vous de plaie qui broie, lorsque je frapperai la terre d'Égypte.
Forsothe blood schal be to you in to signe, in the housis in whiche ye schulen be; and Y schal se the blood, and Y schal passe you; nether a wounde distriynge schal be in you, whanne Y schal smyte the lond of Egipt.
14 Ce jour-là vous sera en souvenir, et vous le fêterez comme la fête du Seigneur en toutes vos générations; vous le fêterez, c'est une loi éternelle.
Forsothe ye schulen haue this dai in to mynde, and `ye schulen make it solempne to the Lord in youre generaciouns bi euerlastynge worschipyng.
15 Pendant sept jours vous mangerez des azymes, et à partir du premier, vous ferez disparaître le levain de vos demeures, quiconque mangera du levain, du premier au septième jour, cette âme sera retranchée d'Israël.
In seuene daies ye schulen ete therf breed; in the firste dai no thing diyt with sour douy schal be in youre housis; who euer schal ete ony thing diyt with sour douy, fro the firste dai til the seuenthe dai, that soule schal perische fro Israel.
16 Et le premier jour sera appelé saint, le septième jour aussi sera appelé saint par vous; vous ne ferez en ces deux jours aucune œuvre servile; vous ne ferez rien que ce qui se fait pour toute âme.
The firste day schal be hooli and solempne, and the seuenthe dai schal be worschipful bi the same halewyng; ye schulen not do ony werk in tho daies, outakun these thingis that perteynen to mete;
17 Et vous observerez ce précepte; car, en ce jour-là, je conduirai toute votre armée hors de la terre d'Égypte, et vous consacrerez ce jour-là, en toutes vos générations c'est une loi éternelle.
and ye schulen kepe therf breed. For in that same dai Y schal lede out of the lond of Egipt youre oost; and ye schulen kepe this dai in youre generaciouns bi euerlastynge custom.
18 À partir du soir du quatorzième jour de la première lune, vous mangerez des azymes jusqu'au soir du vingt-unième jour de la lune.
In the first monethe, in the fouretenthe dai of the monethe, at euentid, ye schulen ete therf breed, til to the oon and twentithe dai of the same monethe at euentid.
19 Pendant sept jours qu'il ne se trouve pas de levain en vos demeures; quiconque mangera du pain levé, qu'il soit né dans le peuple ou étranger, cette âme sera retranchée du peuple d'Israël.
In seuene dayes no thing `diyt with sour douy schal be foundun in youre housis; if ony etith ony thing diyt with sour dow, his soule schal perische fro the cumpeny of Israel, as wel of comelyngis, as of hem that ben borun in the lond.
20 Vous ne mangerez pas de pain levé; dans toutes vos demeures, vous mangerez des azymes.
Ye schulen not ete ony thing diyt with sour dow, and ye schulen ete therf breed in alle youre dwellyng placis.
21 Et Moïse appela les anciens des fils d'Israël, et il leur dit: Séparez- vous, prenez chacun une tête de menu bétail par famille, et immolez la pâque.
Forsothe Moises clepide alle the eldre men of the sones of Israel, and seide to hem, Go ye, and take a beeste by youre meynees, and offre ye fase; and dippe ye a bundel of isope,
22 Vous prendrez une branche d'hysope, vous la baignerez dans le sang laissé près de la porte, et avec le sang vous en effleurerez le linteau et les deux montants. Chacun de vous se gardera jusqu'à l'aurore de franchir le seuil de sa maison.
in the blood which `is in the threisfold, and sprynge ye therof the lyntel, and euer either post; noon of you schal go out at the dore of his hows til the morewtid.
23 Alors, le Seigneur viendra frapper les Égyptiens; il verra le sang sur le linteau et les montants des portes, et le Seigneur passera outre; il ne permettra pas à l'exterminateur d'entrer en vos maisons pour vous frapper.
For the Lord schal passe smytynge Egipcians; and whanne he schal se the blood in the lyntel, and in euer either post, he schal passe the dore of the hows; and he schal not suffre the smytere to entre in to youre housis, and to hirte.
24 Ce que je viens de vous dire, vous le garderez comme loi éternelle pour vous-mêmes et pour vos descendants.
Kepe thou this word; it schal be a lawful thing to thee and to thi sones til in to with outen ende.
25 Lorsque vous serez entrés en la terre que vous donnera le Seigneur selon sa promesse, vous conserverez ce rite sacré.
And whanne ye schulen entre in to the lond which the Lord schal yyue to you, as he bihiyte, ye schulen kepe these cerymonyes;
26 Et quand vos fils vous diront: Quel est ce sacrifice?
and whanne youre sones schulen seie to you, What is this religioun? ye schulen seie to hem,
27 Vous répondrez: C'est le sacrifice de la pâque du Seigneur, parce que lorsqu'en Égypte il a frappé les Égyptiens, il a protégé les maisons des fils d'Israël et sauvé leurs demeures. À ces mots le peuple, s'étant prosterné, adora.
It is the sacrifice of the passyng of the Lord, whanne he passide ouer the housis of the sones of Israel in Egipt, and smoot Egipcians, and delyueride oure housis. And the puple was bowid, and worschipide.
28 Et les fils d'Israël se séparèrent pour faire ce que le Seigneur avait prescrit à Aaron et à Moïse.
And the sones of Israel yeden out, and diden as the Lord comaundide to Moises and to Aaron.
29 Et, le milieu de la nuit étant venu, le Seigneur frappa tout premier-né en la terre d'Égypte, depuis le premier-né du Pharaon assis sur le trône, jusqu’au premier-né de la captive dans sa prison, et jusqu'au première des bestiaux.
Forsothe it was doon in the myddis of the nyyt, the Lord smoot al the firste gendrid thing in the lond of Egipt, fro the firste gendrid of Farao, that sat in the trone of hym, til to the first gendrid of the caitif womman, that was in the prisoun, and alle the first gendrid of beestis.
30 Le Pharaon se leva durant la nuit, ainsi que tous ses serviteurs, et tous les Égyptiens; il y eut un long cri en la terre d'Égypte, car il n'était pas de maison où il n'y eût un mort.
And Farao roos in the nyyt, and alle hise seruauntis, and al Egipt; and a greet cry was maad in Egipt, for noon hows was, in which a deed man lay not.
31 Et le Pharaon appela, durant la nuit, Moïse et son frère, et il leur dit: Levez-vous, sortez de mon royaume avec les fils d'Israël; allez et sacrifiez au Seigneur votre Dieu, comme vous l'avez demandé.
And whanne Moises and Aaron weren clepid in the nyyt, Farao seide, Rise ye, go ye out fro my puple, bothe ye and the sones of Israel; go ye, offre ye to the Lord, as ye seien;
32 Emmenez vos brebis et vos bœufs, partez et bénissez-moi.
take ye youre scheep and greete beestis, as ye axiden; and go ye, and blesse ye me.
33 Et les Égyptiens en toute hâte contraignaient le peuple pour le faire sortir de la contrée: Car, disaient-ils, nous allons tous périr.
And Egipcians constreyneden the puple to go out of the lond swiftli, and seiden, All we schulen die!
34 Aussitôt, le peuple prit sur ses épaules sa farine en pâte non encore levée, et ses pains enveloppés dans des vêtements.
Therfor the puple took meele spreynd togidere, bifor that it was diyt with sour douy; and boond in mentils, and puttide on her schuldris.
35 Or, les fils d'Israël avaient exécuté l'ordre de Moïse; ils avaient demandé aux Égyptiens des vases d'argent et d’or, des vêtements.
And the sones of Israel diden as the Lord comaundide to Moises; and thei axiden of Egipcians siluerne vesselis and goldun, and ful myche clooth.
36 Le Seigneur avait fait trouver grâce au peuple devant les Égyptiens qui leur avaient tout prêté; et ainsi le peuple dépouilla les Égyptiens.
Forsothe the Lord yaf grace to the puple bifor Egipcians, that the Egipcians lenten to hem; and thei maden bare Egipcians.
37 Et les fils d'Israël partirent de Rhamessès pour Soccoth au nombre de six cent mille hommes de pied, outre les bagages.
And the sones of Israel yeden forth fro Ramasses in to Socoth, almest sixe hundrid thousind of foot men, with out litle children and wymmen;
38 Et avec eux une innombrable mêlée de brebis, de bœufs et de bêtes de somme.
but also comyn puple of malis and femalis vnnoumbrable stieden with hem; scheep, and oxun, and ful many beestis of diuerse kynde, stieden with hem.
39 Et ils firent cuire la pâte qu'ils avaient emportée d'Égypte; ils en firent des azymes cuits sous la cendre; car elle n'était pas levée, tant les Égyptiens les avaient pressés de partir; ils n'avaient donc pu différer, et ils n'avaient point préparé, de vivres pour la route.
And thei bakiden meele, which spreynd to gidere `a while ago thei token fro Egipt, and maden therf looues bakun vnder the aischis; for the looues miyten not be diyt with sour dow, for Egipcians compelliden to go out, and suffriden not to make ony tariyng, nether it was leiser to make ony seew.
40 Or, le séjour que les fils d'Israël avaient fait tant dans la terre d'Égypte que dans celle de Chanaan, avait duré quatre cent trente ans.
Forsothe the dwellyng of the sones of Israel, bi which thei dwelliden in Egipt, was of foure hundrid and thretti yeer;
41 Et, après ces quatre cent trente ans, il advint que toute l'armée du Seigneur sortit de la terre d'Égypte pendant la nuit.
and whanne tho weren fillid, al the oost of the Lord yede out of the lond of Egipt in the same dai.
42 Cette nuit doit être consacrée au Seigneur, comme lorsqu'il les a tirés de la terre d'Égypte; cette même nuit est à garder pour le Seigneur durant toutes les générations des fils d'Israël.
This nyyt is worthi to be kept in the worschipyng of the Lord, whanne he ladde hem out of the lond of Egipt; alle the sones of Israel owen to kepe this in her generaciouns.
43 Le Seigneur dit ensuite à Moïse et à son frère: Voici la loi de la pâque: Nul étranger ne prendra part au repas pascal.
Also the Lord seide to Moises and Aaron, This is the religioun of fase; ech alien schal not ete therof;
44 Tout serviteur né dans la famille, tout esclave acheté à prix d'argent sera circoncis par vous; alors il y participera.
sotheli ech seruaunt bouyt schal be circumcidid, and so he schal ete;
45 Le passager et le mercenaire n'y prendront point part.
a comelyng and hirid man schulen not ete therof;
46 La pâque sera mangée dans les maisons, et vous ne porterez hors de la maison aucune part des chairs, et vous ne broierez pas un seul os.
it schal be etun in oon hows; nether ye schulen bere out of the fleischis therof; nether ye schulen breke a boon therof.
47 Toute la synagogue d'Israël fera ainsi.
Ech company of the sones of Israel schal make that fase;
48 Et si quelqu'un est venu vers vous comme prosélyte, pour faire la pâque du Seigneur, circoncisez tout mâle dans sa famille; alors il sera admis à la faire, et il sera comme celui qui est né dans le pays; nul incirconcis ne prendra part à la pâque.
that if ony pilgrym wole passe into youre feith and worschipyng, and make fase of the Lord, ech male kynde of hym schal be circumcidid bifore, and thanne he schal make lawfuli, and he schal be to gidere as a man borun of the lond; forsothe if ony man is not circumcidid, he schal not ete therof.
49 Il n'y aura qu'une loi, tant pour l'indigène, que pour celui qui arrivera comme prosélyte parmi vous.
The same lawe schal be to a man borun of the lond, and to a comelyng, that takith youre feith, which is a pilgrym anentis you.
50 Et les fils d'Israël firent ce que le Seigneur avait prescrit pour eux à Aaron et à Moïse; ils le firent;
And alle the sones of Israel diden as the Lord comaundide to Moises and Aaron.
51 Et en ce jour-là, le Seigneur conduisit hors de la terre d'Égypte les fils d'Israël avec toute leur armée.
And in the same dai the Lord ladde out of `the lond of Egipt the sones of Israel, bi her cumpanies.
