Deutéronome 34

1 Et Moïse monta, d'Araboth en Moab, sur le mont Nébo, au faîte de la cime de Phasga, qui est en face de Jéricho, et le Seigneur lui montra toute la terre de Galaad jusqu'à Dan,

And he went up Moses from [the] desert plains of Moab to [the] mountain of Nebo [the] top of Pisgah which [is] on [the] face of Jericho and he showed him Yahweh all the land Gilead to Dan.

2 Et toute la terre de Nephthali, et toute la terre d'Ephraïm, et toute la terre de Manassé, et toute la terre de Juda jusqu'à la mer extrême,

And all Naphtali and [the] land of Ephraim and Manasseh and all [the] land of Judah to the sea western.

3 Et le désert, et le territoire de Jéricho (ville des Phéniciens), jusqu'à Ségor.

And the Negev and the district in [the] valley of Jericho [the] city of the palm trees to Zoar.

4 Et le Seigneur dit à Moïse: Voici la terre que j'ai promise a Abraham, à Isaac et à Jacob, disant: Je la donnerai à votre race. Je te l'ai fait voir, mais tu n'y entreras point,

And he said Yahweh to him this [is] the land which I swore to Abraham to Isaac and to Jacob saying to offspring your I will give it I have let see [it] you with own eyes your and there towards not you will pass over.

5 Et Moïse, serviteur du Seigneur, mourut en la terre de Moab, par l'ordre du Seigneur.

And he died there Moses [the] servant of Yahweh in [the] land of Moab on [the] mouth of Yahweh.

6 Et on l'ensevelit en Haï près du temple de Phogor, et nul jusqu'à ce jour n'a vu son sépulcre,

And he buried him in the valley in [the] land of Moab opposite to Beth Peor and not he knows anyone burial place his until the day this.

7 Or, Moïse était âgé de cent vingt ans lorsqu'il mourut; ses yeux n'étaient pas obscurcis, sa taille ne s'était point courbée,

And Moses [was] a son of one hundred and twenty year[s] when dying he not it had grown dim eye his and not it had fled vigor his.

8 Et les fils d'Israël pleurèrent Moïse en Araboth de Moab sur le Jourdain, vis-à-vis Jéricho, durant trente jours, et les jours du deuil de Moïse s'écoulèrent,

And they wept for [the] people of Israel Moses in [the] desert plains of Moab thirty day[s] and they were completed [the] days of [the] weeping of [the] mourning of Moses.

9 Et Josué, fils de Nau, fut rempli de l'esprit d'intelligence; car Moïse lui avait imposé les mains. Les fils d'Israël lui obéirent, et ils se réglèrent dans leur conduite sur ce que le Seigneur avait prescrit à Moïse.

And Joshua [the] son of Nun he was full a spirit of wisdom for he had laid Moses hands his on him and they listened to him [the] people of Israel and they did just as he had commanded Yahweh Moses.

10 Et il ne s'éleva plus en Israël de prophète comme Moïse, que le Seigneur connut face à face,

And not he has arisen a prophet again in Israel like Moses whom he knew him Yahweh face to face.

11 Au milieu de tous les signes et prodiges que le Seigneur lui ordonna de faire sur la terre d'Egypte, contre le Pharaon, ses serviteurs et toute sa contrée;

To all the signs and the wonders which he sent him Yahweh to do in [the] land of Egypt to Pharaoh and to all servants his and to all land his.

12 Grandes merveilles que, par une main puissante, Moïse opéra devant tout Israël.

And to all the hand mighty and to all the terror great which he did Moses to [the] eyes of all Israel.
