1 Samuel 21

1 David se rendit à Nomba chez le prêtre Abimélech; Abimélech, étonné de sa venue, lui dit: Pourquoi es-tu seul, et n'y a-t-il personne avec toi?

And he went David Nob towards to Ahimelech the priest and he trembled Ahimelech to meet David and he said to him why? [are] you to alone you and [is] anyone there not with you.

2 David dit au prêtre: Le roi aujourd'hui m'a donné ce commandement: Que nul ne sache l'affaire pour laquelle je t'envoie, et dont je te charge. J'ai donc convoqué mes serviteurs au lieu dit la Foi de Dieu (Phellani-Maimoni).

And he said David to Ahimelech the priest the king he commanded me a matter and he said to me anyone may not he know anything the matter which I [am] sending you and which I have commanded you and the young men I have directed to a place of a certain one a certain one.

3 Maintenant, as-tu sous la main cinq pains? Donne-moi ce que tu pourras trouver.

And therefore what? [is] there under hand your five bread[s] give! in hand my or that [which] may be found.

4 Le prêtre répondit à David, et il lui dit: Je n'ai point sous la main de pains profanes, je n'ai que des pains consacrés; si tes gens se sont au moins abstenus de femmes, ils en peuvent manger.

And he answered the priest David and he said there not [is] bread of profaneness to under hand my that except [is] bread of holiness there if they have kept themselves the young men only from a woman.

5 David reprit: Quant aux femmes, depuis trois jours, nous nous en sommes abstenus; lorsque je suis parti, tous mes hommes ont été purifiés; mais la route elle-même les souille; c'est pourquoi nous nous purifions aujourd'hui en lavant nos vêtements.

And he answered David the priest and he said to him that except woman [is] withheld to us as yesterday three days ago when go out I and they were [the] vessels of the young men holiness and it [is] a journey of profaneness and indeed? for this day it is holy in the vessel.

6 Alors, Abimélech le prêtre lui donna les pains de proposition; car il n'y avait là d'autres pains que ceux qu'on venait d'ôter de devant la face du Seigneur, pour les remplacer par des pains chauds, le jour même où David les prit.

And he gave to him the priest a holy thing for not it was there bread that except [the] bread of the presence which had been removed from to before Yahweh to put bread of heat on [the] day was taken away it.

7 Or, il se trouvait là un serviteur de Saül, retenu devant le Seigneur; il se nommait Doeg le Syrien, et il faisait paître les mulets de Saül.

And there a man one of [the] servants of Saul on the day that [was] detained before Yahweh and name his [was] Doeg the Edomite [the] mighty [one] of the shepherds who [belonged] to Saul.

8 Et David dit à Abimélech: Vois si tu as ici sous la main quelque javeline ou quelque épée; car je n'ai pris ni mon glaive ni aucune arme, tant l'affaire du roi exigeait de précipitation.

And he said David to Ahimelech and where? there here under hand your [is] a spear or a sword for both sword my as well as weapons my not I took in hand my for it was [the] matter of the king urgent.

9 Et le prêtre dit: Voici l'épée de Goliath le Philistin, que tu as vaincu dans le vallon d'Ela; elle est enveloppée dans un manteau; si tu la veux, tu peux l'emporter; hormis cette arme, il n'en est aucune ici. A quoi David répondit: Donne-la-moi; elle n'a pas sa pareille.

And he said the priest [the] sword of Goliath the Philistine whom you struck down - in [the] valley of Elah here! it [is] wrapped in the cloak behind the ephod if it you will take for yourself take [it] for there not [is] another except it in this [place] and he said David there not [is] like it give it to me.

10 Le prêtre la lui donna, et David partit. Ce jour-là, il s'enfuit loin de Saül, et il alla chez Achis, roi de Geth.

And he arose David and he fled on the day that from before Saul and he went to Achish [the] king of Gath.

11 Et les serviteurs d'Achis dirent à leur maître: N'est-ce point là David, le roi de la terre? N'est-ce pas celui dont les danseuses, en chantant, disaient: Saül les a tués par milliers, David les a tués par myriades?

And they said [the] servants of Achish to him ¿ not [is] this David [the] king of the land ¿ not of this [one] do people sing with dances saying he has struck down Saul (thousands his *Q(K)*) and David (ten thousands his. *Q(K)*)

12 Et David pesa ces paroles en son cœur, et il eut grande crainte en présence du roi Achis.

And he put David the words these in heart his and he was afraid exceedingly of Achish [the] king of Gath.

13 Aussitôt, devant lui, il se donna un nouvel aspect, et, ce jour-là, il usa de feinte; il tambourina sur les portes de la ville; il fit de ses mains des gestes insensés; il tomba contre les battants des portes, et l'écume ruisselait sur sa barbe.

And he changed it sense his in view their and he pretended to be mad in hand their (and he made marks *Q(k)*) on [the] doors of the gate and he made to flow down spittle his to beard his.

14 Et Achis dit à ses serviteurs: Voyez, cet homme est épileptique. Pourquoi me l'avez-vous amené?

And he said Achish to servants his there! you see a man behaving like a madman why? do you bring him to me.

15 Ai-je besoin d'épileptiques? A quoi bon l'avoir amené pour qu'il tombe en épilepsie devant moi? Il n'entrera pas dans ma maison.

Lacking of madmen [am] I? that you have brought this one to behave like a madman on me ¿ this one will he come into house my.
