Psaumes 98

1 Psaume. Chantez à l’Eternel un cantique nouveau, car il a accompli des merveilles, soutenu par sa droite et son bras auguste.

A psalm sing to Yahweh - a song new for wonders he has done it has given victory to him right [hand] his and [the] arm of holiness his.

2 L’Eternel a fait éclater son secours; aux yeux des nations, il a manifesté sa justice. Il s’est souvenu de sa grâce

He has made known Yahweh salvation his to [the] eyes of the nations he has revealed righteousness his.

3 et de sa bonté pour la maison d’Israël; toutes les extrémités de la terre ont été témoins du secours de notre Dieu.

He has remembered covenant loyalty his - and faithfulness his to [the] house of Israel they have seen all [the] ends of [the] earth [the] salvation of God our.

4 Acclamez l’Eternel, toute la terre, entonnez des cantiques, chantez des hymnes!

Shout for joy to Yahweh O all the earth break forth and sing for joy and make music.

5 Glorifiez l’Eternel avec la harpe, avec la harpe et des chants harmonieux;

Make music to Yahweh with a harp with a harp and [the] sound of music.

6 le son des trompettes et les accents du Chofar, faites-les retentir devant le Roi Eternel.

7 Que la mer élève ses clameurs, la mer et ce qui la peuple, la terre et tous ceux qui l’habitent!

8 Que les fleuves battent des mains, qu’à l’unisson les montagnes retentissent de chants,

Rivers let them clap a palm together mountains let them sing for joy.

9 à l’approche de l’Eternel qui vient juger la terre! Il va juger le monde avec équité, et les nations avec droiture.

Before Yahweh for [he is] coming to judge the earth he will judge [the] world with righteousness and peoples with uprightness.
