Psaumes 94
1 Dieu des vindictes, Eternel, Dieu des vindictes, apparais!
O God of vengeance O Yahweh O God of vengeance shine forth.
2 Lève-toi, juge de la terre, inflige un juste châtiment aux orgueilleux.
Raise yourself up O judge of the earth repay recompense to proud [people].
3 Jusques à quand les impies, ô Eternel, jusques à quand les impies triompheront-ils?
Until when? wicked [people] - O Yahweh until when? wicked [people] will they exult.
4 Ils se répandent en discours, parlent avec jactance; ils font les fanfarons, tous ces ouvriers d’iniquité.
They pour forth they speak arrogance they boast all [those who] do wickedness.
5 Ton peuple, Eternel, ils l’écrasent, et ils oppriment ton héritage.
People your O Yahweh they crush and inheritance your they afflict.
6 Ils font périr la veuve et l’étranger, ils assassinent les orphelins,
[the] widow And [the] sojourner they kill and fatherless ones they murder.
7 et ils disent: "l’Eternel ne le voit pas, le Dieu de Jacob n’y fait nulle attention!"
And they said not he will see Yahweh and not he will perceive [the] God of Jacob.
8 Ah! réfléchissez donc, ô gens stupides! Et vous, insensés, quand serez-vous sains d’esprit?
Understand O stupid [ones] among the people and O fools when? will you have insight.
9 Celui qui a planté l’oreille n’entendrait pas? celui qui a formé l’œil ne verrait point?
¿ [the] planter of [the] ear ¿ Not does he hear or? [the] former of [the] eye ¿ not does he see.
10 Celui qui châtie les peuples ne demanderait aucun compte, lui qui enseigne la science aux hommes?
¿ [the] discipliner of Nations ¿ not does he rebuke the [one who] teaches humankind knowledge.
11 L’Eternel connaît les pensées des mortels, il sait qu’elles sont vanité.
Yahweh [is] knowing [the] thoughts of a person that they [are] a breath.
12 Heureux l’homme que tu redresses, Eternel, et que tu instruis dans ta loi!
How blessed! - [is] the man whom you discipline him O Yahweh and from law your you teach him.
13 Tu le mets en sûreté contre des jours de malheur, tandis qu’un abîme se creuse sous les pas du méchant.
To give quiet to him from days of trouble until it will be dug for the wicked a pit.
14 Car le Seigneur ne délaisse pas son peuple, et son héritage, il ne l’abandonne pas.
For - not he will abandon Yahweh people his and inheritance his not he will forsake.
15 Mais son jugement se ramène à l’équité: à lui se rattachent tous les cœurs droits.
For to righteousness it will return judgment and [will be] after it all [people] upright of heart.
16 Qui m’assistera pour faire front aux malfaiteurs? Qui m’aidera à tenir tête aux artisans d’iniquité?
Who? will he rise up for me with evil-doers who? will he take his stand for me with [those who] do wickedness.
17 Si l’Eternel n’était mon appui, peu s’en faut que mon âme ne séjournât dans le pays du silence.
If not Yahweh [had been] a help of me like a little - it dwelt silence self my.
18 Lorsque je dis: "Mon pied va chanceler", ta grâce, Eternel, vient me soutenir.
If I said it has slipped foot my covenant loyalty your O Yahweh it supported me.
19 Lorsque les soucis se multiplient dans mon sein, ce sont tes consolations qui remettent mon âme en joie.
In [the] multitude of disquieting thoughts my in inner being my consolations your they delighted self my.
20 Se peut-il que tu tolères près de toi un trône criminel, qui forge l’iniquité et l’érige en loi?
¿ Will it be joined to you a throne of destruction [which] fashions mischief on a decree.
21 Qu’on s’ameute donc contre la vie du juste, qu’on prononce la condamnation du sang innocent:
They band together on [the] life of [the] righteous and blood innocent they condemn as guilty.
22 l’Eternel est une forteresse pour moi, mon Dieu, un rocher tutélaire.
And he has become Yahweh of me a refuge and God my [the] rock of shelter my.
23 Quant à ceux-là, il fait retomber sur eux leur iniquité, il les anéantit pour leur méchanceté; l’Eternel, notre Dieu, les anéantit!
