Psaumes 135
1 Alléluia! Louez le nom de l’Eternel louez-le, serviteurs de l’Eternel,
Praise Yahweh - praise [the] name of Yahweh praise O servants of Yahweh.
2 qui vous tenez dans la maison du Seigneur, dans les parvis de la maison de notre Dieu.
Who [are] standing in [the] house of Yahweh in [the] courts of [the] house of God our.
3 Louez le Seigneur, car l’Eternel est bon, célébrez son nom, car il est doux,
Praise Yahweh for [is] good Yahweh sing praises to name his for [it is] pleasant.
4 car le Seigneur a fait choix de Jacob; d’Israël il a fait son peuple d’élection.
For Jacob he has chosen for himself Yahweh Israel to possession his.
5 Oui, je sais que grand est l’Eternel, grand notre maître plus que toutes les divinités.
For I I know that [is] great Yahweh and lord our more than all gods.
6 Tout ce que veut l’Eternel, il le fait, dans les cieux et sur la terre, sur les mers et dans toutes les profondeurs de l’abîme.
All that he desires Yahweh he does in the heavens and on the earth in the seas and all [the] deeps.
7 Il amène les nuages des extrémités de la terre; il accompagne d’éclairs la pluie, fait s’échapper le vent de ses réservoirs.
[he is] bringing up Clouds from [the] end of the earth lightning for the rain he makes [he is] bringing out wind from storehouses his.
8 C’Est lui qui a frappé les premiers-nés d’Egypte, parmi les hommes et parmi les animaux;
Who struck down [the] firstborn of Egypt from humankind unto animal[s].
9 il a envoyé signes et prodiges sur ton sol, ô Egypte, contre Pharaon et tous ses serviteurs.
He sent - signs and wonders in [the] midst of you O Egypt on Pharaoh and on all servants his.
10 Il a abattu des peuples puissants, fait périr des rois formidables,
Who struck down nations many and he killed kings mighty.
11 Sihon, roi des Amorréens, Og, roi de Basan, et tous les souverains de Canaan,
To Sihon - [the] king of the Amorites and to Og [the] king of Bashan and to all [the] kingdoms of Canaan.
12 pour donner leur pays en héritage, en héritage à Israël, son peuple.
And he gave land their an inheritance an inheritance to Israel people his.
13 Eternel, ton nom dure à jamais, Eternel, ta gloire d’âge en âge.
O Yahweh name your [is] for ever O Yahweh remembrance your [is] to a generation and a generation.
14 Car l’Eternel fait justice à son peuple et il est plein de commisération pour ses serviteurs.
For he vindicates Yahweh people his and on servants his he has compassion.
15 Les idoles des nations, faites d’argent et d’or, sont l’œuvre de mains humaines.
[the] idols of The nations [are] silver and gold [the] work of [the] hands of humankind.
16 Elles ont une bouche et ne parlent point, des yeux et ne voient pas;
A mouth [belongs] to them and not they speak eyes [belong] to them and not they see.
17 elles ont des oreilles et n’entendent point, il n’y a même pas un souffle dans leur bouche.
Ears [belong] to them and not they give ear also there not there [is] breath in mouth their.
18 Puissent devenir comme elles ceux qui les fabriquent, quiconque met en elles sa confiance!
Like them they will be [those who] make them every [one] who [is] trusting in them.
19 Maison d’Israël, bénissez le Seigneur! Maison d’Aaron, bénissez le Seigneur!
O house of Israel bless Yahweh O house of Aaron bless Yahweh.
20 Maison de Lévi, bénissez le Seigneur! Adorateurs de l’Eternel, bénissez le Seigneur!
O house of the Levites bless Yahweh O [those] fearing Yahweh bless Yahweh.
21 Que l’Eternel soit béni de Sion, Lui qui demeure à Jérusalem. Alléluia!
[be] blessed Yahweh - from Zion [who] dwells Jerusalem praise Yahweh.
