Job 12
1 Job reprit la parole et dit:
And he answered Job and he said.
2 Sans doute, vous êtes l’humanité entière, et avec vous mourra la sagesse!
Truly that you [are the] people and with you it will die wisdom.
3 Moi aussi, j’ai un cœur comme vous, je ne vous le cède en rien: qui ne, peut user d’arguments pareils?
Also [belongs] to me a heart - like you not [am] falling I more than you and with whom? [are] there not like these [things].
4 Je suis la risée des amis, moi qui invoque Dieu et à qui il répond; le juste, l’homme intègre est un objet de dérision!
A laughingstock to friend his - I am [one who] called to God and he answered him [is] a laughingstock a righteous [person] a blameless [person].
5 Mépris au malheur! pensent les heureux du monde, voilà ce qui est fait pour ceux dont le pied chancelle!
[belongs] to Disaster contempt to [the] thought of [one] at ease a push [belongs] to [those who] are sliding of foot.
6 Elles jouissent de la paix, les tentes des brigands; parfaite est la sécurité de ceux qui bravent le Tout-Puissant et ne reconnaissent d’autre dieu que leur force.
They are at peace [the] tents - of destroyers and securiti [belong] to provokers of God to [those] whom he has brought God in hand his.
7 Toutefois, interroge, de grâce, les bêtes pour qu’elles t’enseignent, les oiseaux du ciel pour qu’ils te mettent au courant.
And but ask please [the] animals so it may teach you and [the] bird[s] of the heavens so it may tell to you.
8 Ou bien adresse-toi à la terre pour qu’elle t’instruise, aux poissons de la mer pour qu’ils te donnent leur avis.
Or complain to the earth so it may teach you and they may recount to you [the] fish of the sea.
9 Qui ne sait, parmi tous ces êtres, que la main de l’Eternel a tout fait?
Who? not does it know among all these for [the] hand of Yahweh it has done this.
10 Il tient en sa main le souffle de tout vivant et l’esprit qui anime tout corps humain.
[he] whom [is] in Hand his [the] life of every living [thing] and [the] breath of all flesh of humankind.
11 L’Oreille n’apprécie-t-elle pas les paroles, tout comme le palais déguste les aliments?
¿ Not an ear words does it test and a palate food it tastes itself.
12 La sagesse est l’apanage des vieillards, les longs jours vont de pair avec la raison.
[is] with Aged [people] wisdom and [is with] length of days understanding.
13 C’Est chez lui que se rencontrent la sagesse et la puissance; à lui appartiennent le conseil et l’intelligence.
[are] with Him wisdom and might [belong] to him counsel and understanding.
14 Voyez, il démolit et personne ne peut rebâtir, il referme la porte sur un homme et personne ne peut l’ouvrir.
There! he tears down and not it will be rebuilt he shuts on a person and not it will be opened.
15 Il arrête les eaux, et elles tarissent; il les déchaîne, et elles bouleversent la terre.
There! he holds back the waters so they may be dry and he lets loose them and they may devastate [the] earth.
16 Ses attributs sont la force et la sagesse; il est le maître de celui qui se fourvoie et du séducteur.
[are] with Him strength and sound wisdom [belong] to him [one who] goes astray and [one who] leads astray.
17 Il fait marcher dans la démence les conseillers et livre les juges en proie à la folie.
[he is] leading away Counselors barefoot and judges he makes look foolish.
18 II dissout l’autorité des rois et fixe une ceinture autour de leurs reins.
[the] correction of Kings he loosens and he bound a loincloth on loins their.
19 Il frappé d’insanité les prêtres et culbute les puissants.
[he is] leading away Priests barefoot and [people] long established he overturns.
20 Il enlève la parole aux orateurs éprouvés et ôte le jugement aux vieillards.
[he is] removing A lip of trusted [ones] and [the] discernment of elders he takes away.
21 II déverse la honte sur les nobles, et relâche la ceinture des vaillants.
[he is] pouring Contempt on noble [people] and [the] belt of strong people he loosens.
22 Du fond des ténèbres, il fait sortir au jour les choses cachées, et met en pleine lumière ce qui était couvert par l’ombre.
[he is] revealing Unfathomable [things] from darkness and he brought out to the light deep darkness.
23 Il grandit les nations, puis il les perd; il les laisse s’étendre, puis il les déporte.
[he is] making great the Nations and he destroyed them [he is] spreading out the nations and he led them.
24 Il ôte l’intelligence aux chefs des nations et les laisse s’égarer dans des solitudes sans route;
[he is] removing [the] heart of [the] leaders of [the] people of The earth and he made wander them in a wasteland not a path.
25 là, ils tâtonnent dans une obscurité qui ne laisse percer aucune lueur; et Dieu les fait tituber comme un ivrogne.
They grope darkness and not light and he made wander them like drunkard.
