Genèse 7
1 L’Éternel dit à Noé: "Entre, toi et toute ta famille, dans l’arche; car c’est toi que j’ai reconnu honnête parmi cette génération."
And the LORde sayd vnto Noe: goo in to the arcke both thou and all thy houssold. For the haue I sene rightuous before me in thys generacion.
2 De tout quadrupède pur, tu prendras sept couples, le mâle et sa femelle; et des quadrupèdes non purs, deux, le mâle et sa femelle.
Of all clene beastes take vnto the. vij. of every kynde the male and hys female And of vnclene beastes a payre the male and hys female:
3 De même, des oiseaux du ciel, respectivement sept, mâles et femelles, pour perpétuer les espèces sur toute la face de la terre.
lykewyse of the byrdes of the ayre vij. of every kynde male and female to save seed vppon all the erth.
4 Car encore sept jours, et je ferai pleuvoir sur la terre pendant quarante jours et quarante nuits; et j’effacerai de la surface du sol tous les êtres que j’ai créés.
For. vij. dayes hence wyll I send rayne vppo the erth. xl. dayes and. xl. nyghtes and wyll dystroy all maner of thynges that I haue made from of the face of the erth.
5 Noé se conforma à tout ce que lui avait ordonné l’Éternel.
And Noe dyd acordynge to all yt the lorde comaunded hym:
6 Or, il était âgé de six cents ans lorsque arriva le Déluge, ces eaux qui couvrirent la terre.
and Noe was. vi. hundred yere olde when the floud of water came vppon the erth:
7 Noé entra avec ses fils, sa femme, et les épouses de ses fils dans l’arche, pour se garantir des eaux du Déluge.
and Noe went and his sonnes and his wyfe and his sonnes wyves wyth hym in to the arke from the waters of the floud.
8 Des quadrupèdes purs; de ceux qui ne le sont point; des oiseaux, et de tout ce qui rampe sur le sol,
And of clene beastes and of beastes that ware vnclene and of byrdes and of all that crepeth vppo the erth
9 deux à deux ils vinrent vers Noé dans l’arche, mâles et femelles, ainsi que Dieu l’avait prescrit à Noé.
came in by cooples of every kynde vnto Noe in to the arke: a male and a female: even as God commaunded Noe.
10 Au bout des sept jours, les eaux du Déluge étaient sur la terre.
And the seventh daye the waters of the floud came vppon the erth.
11 Dans l’année six cent de la vie de Noé, le deuxième mois, le dix-septième jour du mois, en ce jour jaillirent toutes les sources de l’immense Abîme, et les cataractes du ciel s’ouvrirent.
In the. vi. hundred yere of Noes lyfe in the secode moneth in the. xvij daye of the moneth yt same daye were all the founteynes of the grete depe broken vp and the wyndowes of heave were opened
12 La pluie tomba sur la terre, quarante jours et quarante nuits.
ad there fell a rayne vpon the erth. xl. dayes and. xl. nyghtes.
13 Ce jour-là même étaient entrés dans l’arche: Noé, Sem, Cham et Japhet, fils de Noé, et avec eux la femme de Noé et les trois femmes de ses fils;
And the selfe same daye went Noe Sem Ham and Iapheth Noes sonnes and Noes wyfe and the. iij. wyues of his sonnes wyth them in to the arke:
14 eux, et toute bête fauve selon son espèce, et tout le bétail selon son espèce, et tout animal rampant sur la terre selon son espèce, et tout volatile selon son espèce: tout oiseau, tout être ailé.
both they and all maner of beastes in their kide and all maner of catell in their kynde and all maner of wormes that crepe vppon the erth in their kynde and all maner of byrdes in there kynde. and all maner off foules what soever had feders.
15 Ils vinrent vers Noé, dans l’arche, deux à deux, de toutes les espèces douées du souffle de vie.
And they came vnto Noe in to the arke by cooples of all flesh yt had breth of lyfe in it.
16 Ceux qui entrèrent furent le mâle et la femelle de chaque espèce, comme Dieu l’avait commandé. Alors l’Éternel ferma sur Noé la porte de l’arche.
And they that came came male ad female of every flesh acordige as God comaunded hym: and ye LORde shytt the dore vppo him
17 Le Déluge ayant duré quarante jours sur la terre, les eaux, devenues grosses, soulevèrent l’arche, qui se trouva au-dessus de la terre.
And the floud came. xl. dayes and. xl. nyghtes vppon the erth and the water increased and bare vp the arcke ad it was lifte vp from of the erth
18 Les eaux augmentèrent et grossirent considérablement sur la terre, de sorte que l’arche flotta à la surface des eaux.
And the water prevayled and increased exceadingly vppon the erth: and the arke went vppo he toppe of the waters.
19 Puis les eaux redoublèrent d’intensité sur la terre et les plus hautes montagnes qui sont sous le ciel furent submergées.
And the waters prevayled excedingly above mesure vppo the erth so that all the hye hylles which are vnder all the partes of heaven were covered:
20 De quinze coudées plus haut les eaux s’étaient élevées; et les montagnes avaient disparu.
eve. xv. cubytes hye prevayled the waters so that the hylles were covered.
21 Alors périt toute créature se mouvant sur la terre: oiseaux, bétail, bêtes sauvages, tous les êtres pullulant sur la terre, et toute l’espèce humaine.
And all fleshe that moved on the erth bothe birdes catell and beastes perisshed with al that crepte on the erth and all men:
22 Tout ce qui était animé du souffle de la vie, tout ce qui peuplait le sol, expira.
so that all that had the breth of liffe in the nostrels of it thorow out all that was on drye lond dyed.
23 Dieu effaça toutes les créatures qui étaient sur la face de la terre, depuis l’homme jusqu’à la brute, jusqu’au reptile, jusqu’à l’oiseau du ciel et ils furent effacés de la terre. Il ne resta que Noé et ce qui était avec lui dans l’arche.
Thus was destroyed all that was vppo the erth both man beastes wormes and foules of the ayre so that they were destroyed from the erth: save Noe was reserved only and they that were wyth hym in the arke.
24 La crue des eaux sur la terre dura cent cinquante jours.
And the waters prevayled vppon the erth an hundred and fyftye dayes.
