Exode 26
1 "Puis tu feras le tabernacle, savoir dix tapis, qui seront faits de lin retors, de fils d’azur, de pourpre et d’écarlate et artistement damassés de chérubins.
'And thou dost make the tabernacle: ten curtains of twined linen, and blue, and purple, and scarlet; [with] cherubs, work of a designer, thou dost make them;
2 La longueur de chaque tapis sera de vingt-huit coudées; la largeur, de quatre coudées par tapis: dimension uniforme pour tous les tapis.
the length of the one curtain [is] eight and twenty by the cubit, and the breadth of the one curtain four by the cubit, one measure [is] to all the curtains;
3 Cinq des tapis seront attachés l’un à l’autre et les cinq autres seront joints de la même manière.
five of the curtains are joining one unto another, and five curtains are joining one to another.
4 Tu adapteras des noeuds d’étoffe azurée au bord du tapis qui termine un assemblage et de même au bord du dernier tapis de l’autre assemblage.
'And thou hast made loops of blue upon the edge of the one curtain, at the end in the joining; and so thou makest in the edge of the outermost curtain, in the joining of the second.
5 Tu mettras cinquante noeuds à un tapis et cinquante autres au bord du tapis terminant le second assemblage; ces nœuds se correspondront l’un à l’autre.
fifty loops thou dost make in the one curtain, and fifty loops thou dost make in the edge of the curtain which [is] in the joining of the second, causing the loops to take hold one unto another;
6 Tu feras cinquante agrafes d’or; tu joindras les tapis l’un à l’autre au moyen de ces agrafes, de sorte que l’enceinte sera continue.
and thou hast made fifty hooks of gold, and hast joined the curtains one to another by the hooks, and the tabernacle hath been one.
7 Puis tu feras des tapis en poil de chèvre, servant de pavillon au tabernacle; tu les feras au nombre de onze.
'And thou hast made curtains of goats' [hair], for a tent over the tabernacle; thou dost make eleven curtains:
8 La longueur de chaque tapis sera de trente coudées; la largeur, de quatre coudées par tapis: même dimension pour les onze tapis.
the length of the one curtain [is] thirty by the cubit, and the breadth of the one curtain four by the cubit; one measure [is] to the eleven curtains;
9 Tu joindras cinq de ces tapis à part et à part les six autres, le sixième tapis devant être rabattu sur le devant de la tente.
and thou hast joined the five curtains apart, and the six curtains apart, and hast doubled the six curtains over-against the front of the tent.
10 Tu disposeras cinquante nœuds au bord du tapis extrême d’un assemblage et cinquante noeuds au bord, du tapis terminant le second assemblage.
'And thou hast made fifty loops on the edge of the one curtain, the outermost in the joining, and fifty loops on the edge of the curtain which is joining the second;
11 Tu confectionneras cinquante agrafes de cuivre; tu les feras entrer dans les noeuds et réuniras ainsi le pavillon en un seul corps.
and thou hast made fifty hooks of brass, and hast brought in the hooks into the loops, and hast joined the tent, and it hath been one.
12 Les tapis du pavillon dépassant les autres d’une certaine longueur, le demi-tapis qui sera en plus descendra sur la face postérieure du tabernacle.
'And the superfluity in the curtains of the tent — the half of the curtain which is superfluous — hath spread over the hinder part of the tabernacle;
13 Et la coudée d’un côté et la coudée de l’autre, qui se trouveront en excès dans la longueur des tapis du pavillon, retomberont sur les côtés du tabernacle, de part et d’autre, pour le couvrir.
and the cubit on this side, and the cubit on that, in the superfluity in the length of the curtains of the tent, is spread out over the sides of the tabernacle, on this and on that, to cover it;
14 Tu ajouteras, pour couvrir le pavillon, des peaux de bélier teintes en rouge et, par-dessus, une couverture de peaux de tahach.
and thou hast made a covering for the tent, of rams' skins made red, and a covering of badgers' skins above.
15 "Tu feras ensuite les solives destinées au tabernacle: ce seront des ais de chittîm perpendiculaires.
'And thou hast made the boards for the tabernacle, of shittim wood, standing up;
16 Dix coudées seront la longueur de chaque solive; une coudée et demie la largeur de chacune.
ten cubits [is] the length of the board, and a cubit and a half the breadth of the one board;
17 Chaque solive aura deux tenons parallèles l’un à l’autre; ainsi feras-tu pour toutes les solives du tabernacle.
two handles [are] to the one board, joined one unto another; so thou dost make for all the boards of the tabernacle;
18 Tu disposeras ces solives pour le tabernacle, comme il suit: vingt solives dans le sens du sud ou midi;
and thou hast made the boards of the tabernacle: twenty boards for the south side southward;
19 sous ces vingt solives tu placeras quarante socles d’argent: deux socles sous une solive, pour recevoir ses deux tenons et deux socles sous une autre, pour ses deux tenons.
and forty sockets of silver thou dost make under the twenty boards, two sockets under the one board for its two handles, and two sockets under the other board for its two handles.
20 De même, pour le second côté du tabernacle, à la face nord, vingt solives,
'And for the second side of the tabernacle, for the north side, [are] twenty boards,
21 avec leurs quarante socles d’argent: deux socles sous une solive et deux socles sous la solive suivante.
and their forty sockets of silver, two sockets under the one board, and two sockets under another board.
22 Pour le côté postérieur du tabernacle, à l’occident, tu prépareras six solives;
And for the sides of the tabernacle westward, thou dost make six boards.
23 puis, tu en prépareras deux pour les angles postérieurs du tabernacle.
And two boards thou dost make for the corners of the tabernacle in the two sides.
24 Elles seront accouplées par en bas et également accouplées, au sommet, par un seul anneau; même disposition pour ces deux solives, placées aux deux angles.
And they are pairs beneath, and together they are pairs above its head unto the one ring; so is it for them both, they are for the two corners.
25 Il y aura donc huit solives, avec leurs socles d’argent, soit seize socles: deux socles sous une solive et deux socles sous l’autre.
And they have been eight boards, and their sockets of silver [are] sixteen sockets, two sockets under the one board, and two sockets under another board.
26 Tu feras ensuite des traverses de bois de chittîm: cinq pour les solives d’un côté du tabernacle,
'And thou hast made bars of shittim wood: five for the boards of the one side of the tabernacle,
27 cinq autres pour les solives du second côté du tabernacle et cinq traverses pour les solives du côté postérieur, occidental.
and five bars for the boards of the second side of the tabernacle, and five bars for the boards of the side of the tabernacle at the two sides, westward;
28 La traverse du milieu passera dans l’intérieur des solives, les reliant d’une extrémité à l’autre.
and one hath caused the middle bar in the midst of the boards to reach from end unto end;
29 Ces solives, tu les recouvriras d’or; tu feras en or leurs anneaux, où passeront les traverses et ces traverses tu les recouvriras d’or.
and the boards thou dost overlay [with] gold, and their rings thou dost make of gold places for bars, and hast overlaid their bars with gold;
30 Tu érigeras ainsi le tabernacle, suivant la disposition qui t’a été enseignée sur cette montagne.
and thou hast raised up the tabernacle according to its fashion which thou hast been shewn in the mount.
31 "Tu feras ensuite un voile en étoffe d’azur, de pourpre, d’écarlate et de lin retors; on le fabriquera artistement, en le damassant de chérubins.
'And thou hast made a vail of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and twined linen, work of a designer; he maketh it [with] cherubs;
32 Tu le suspendras à quatre piliers de chittîm, recouverts d’or, à crochets d’or et soutenus par quatre socles d’argent.
and thou hast put it on four pillars of shittim wood, overlaid [with] gold, their pegs [are] of gold, on four sockets of silver.
33 Tu fixeras ce voile au-dessous des agrafes; c’est là, dans l’enceinte protégée par le voile, que tu feras entrer l’arche du Statut et le voile séparera ainsi pour vous le sanctuaire d’avec le Saint des saints.
'And thou hast put the vail under the hooks, and hast brought in thither within the vail the ark of the testimony; and the vail hath made a separation for you between the holy and the holy of holies.
34 Tu poseras le propitiatoire sur l’arche du Statut, dans le Saint des saints.
'And thou hast put the mercy-seat on the ark of the testimony, in the holy of holies.
35 Tu placeras la table en dehors du voile et le candélabre en face de la table au côté méridional du tabernacle, la table étant placée au côté septentrional.
'And thou hast set the table at the outside of the vail, and the candlestick over-against the table on the side of the tabernacle southward, and the table thou dost put on the north side.
36 Puis, tu confectionneras un rideau pour l’entrée de la Tente, en azur, pourpre, écarlate et lin retors, artistement brodés.
'And thou hast made a covering for the opening of the tent, blue, and purple, and scarlet, and twined linen, work of an embroiderer;
37 Tu feras, pour ce rideau, cinq piliers de chittîm; tu les revêtiras d’or, leurs crochets seront d’or et tu mouleras pour eux cinq socles de cuivre.
and thou hast made for the covering five pillars of shittim [wood], and hast overlaid them [with] gold, their pegs [are] of gold, and thou hast cast for them five sockets of brass.
