Deutéronome 31
1 Moïse alla ensuite adresser les paroles suivantes à tout Israël,
And he went Moses and he spoke the words these to all Israel.
2 leur disant: "J’Ai cent vingt ans aujourd’hui, je ne peux plus vous servir de guide; d’ailleurs, l’Éternel m’a dit: "Tu ne traverseras pas ce Jourdain."
And he said to them [am] a son of one hundred and twenty year[s] I this day not I am able still to go out and to come and Yahweh he has said to me not you will pass over the Jordan this.
3 L’Éternel, ton Dieu, marche lui-même devant toi; c’est lui qui anéantira ces peuples devant toi pour que tu les dépossèdes. Josué sera ton guide, comme l’Éternel l’a déclaré.
Yahweh God your he - [is] about to pass over before you he he will destroy the nations these from to before you and you will dispossess them Joshua he [is] about to pass over before you just as he spoke Yahweh.
4 Et le Seigneur les traitera comme il a traité Sihôn et Og, rois des Amorréens, et leur pays, qu’il a condamné à la ruine.
And he will do Yahweh to them just as he did to Sihon and to Og [the] kings of the Amorite[s] and to land their whom he destroyed them.
5 Il mettra ces peuples à votre merci; et vous procéderez à leur égard, en tout, selon l’ordre que je vous ai donné.
And he will deliver up them Yahweh before you and you will do to them according to all the commandment which I have commanded you.
6 Soyez forts et vaillants! Ne vous laissez effrayer ni intimider par eux! Car l’Éternel, ton Dieu, marche lui-même avec toi; il ne te laissera pas succomber, il ne t’abandonnera point!"
Be strong and be bold may not you be afraid and may not you be terrified of them for - Yahweh God your he [is] the [one who] goes with you not he will abandon you and not he will forsake you.
7 Alors Moïse appela Josué, et lui dit en présence de tout Israël: "Sois fort et vaillant! Car c’est toi qui entreras avec ce peuple dans le pays que l’Éternel a juré à leurs pères de leur donner, et c’est toi qui leur en feras le partage.
And he summoned Moses Joshua and he said to him to [the] eyes of all Israel be strong and be bold for you you will go with the people this into the land which he swore Yahweh to ancestors their to give to them and you you will give as an inheritance it them.
8 L’Éternel lui-même marchera devant toi, lui-même sera à tes côtés, il ne te laissera fléchir ni ne t’abandonnera: sois donc sans peur et sans faiblesse!"
And Yahweh he - [is] the [one who] goes before you he he will be with you not he will abandon you and not he will forsake you not you must be afraid and not you must be dismayed.
9 Moïse mit par écrit cette doctrine et la confia aux pontifes, descendants de Lévi, chargés de porter l’arche d’alliance du Seigneur, et à tous les anciens d’Israël.
And he wrote down Moses the law this and he gave it to the priests [the] sons of Levi who carry [the] ark of [the] covenant of Yahweh and to all [the] elders of Israel.
10 Et Moïse leur ordonna ce qui suit: "A la fin de chaque septième année, à l’époque de l’année de relâche, lors de la fête des tentes,
And he commanded Moses them saying from [the] end of - seven years at [the] appointed time of [the] year of the remission at [the] festival of the booths.
11 alors que tout Israël vient comparaître devant l’Éternel, ton Dieu, dans l’endroit qu’il aura élu, tu feras lecture de cette doctrine en présence de tout Israël, qui écoutera attentivement.
When comes all Israel to appear with [the] presence of Yahweh God your in the place which he will choose you will read aloud the law this before all Israel in ears their.
12 Convoques-y le peuple entier, hommes, femmes et enfants, ainsi que l’étranger qui est dans tes murs, afin qu’ils entendent et s’instruisent, et révèrent l’Éternel, votre Dieu, et s’appliquent à pratiquer toutes les paroles de cette doctrine;
Assemble the people the men and the women and the little one[s] and sojourner your who [is] in gates your so that they may hear and so that they may learn and they will fear Yahweh God your and they will take care to do all [the] words of the law this.
13 et que leurs enfants, qui ne savent pas encore, entendent aussi, et qu’ils apprennent à révérer l’Éternel, votre Dieu, tant que vous vivrez sur le sol pour la possession duquel vous allez passer le Jourdain."
And children their who not they have known they will hear and they will learn to fear Yahweh God your all the days which you [will be] alive on the land where you [are] about to pass over the Jordan there towards to take possession of it.
14 Le Seigneur dit à Moïse: "Voici que tes jours approchent de leur terme. Appelle Josué, et présentez-vous dans la tente d’assignation, pour que je lui donne mes ordres." Et Moïse alla, avec Josué, se placer dans la tente d’assignation.
And he said Yahweh to Moses here! they have drawn near days your to die summon Joshua and present yourselves at [the] tent of meeting so I may commission him and he went Moses and Joshua and they presented themselves at [the] tent of meeting.
15 Le Seigneur apparut dans la tente, par une colonne de nuée, et cette colonne de nuée s’arrêta à l’entrée de la tente.
And he appeared Yahweh at the tent in a pillar of cloud and it stood [the] pillar of cloud over [the] entrance of the tent.
16 Le Seigneur dit à Moïse: "Tandis que tu reposeras avec tes pères, ce peuple se laissera débaucher par les divinités du pays barbare où il va pénétrer; et il m’abandonnera, et il brisera l’alliance que j’ai conclue avec lui.
And he said Yahweh to Moses here you [are] about to lie down with ancestors your and it will arise the people this and it will act as a prostitute - after - [the] gods of foreignness of the land where it [is] about to go there towards in midst its and it will forsake me and it will break covenant my which I made with it.
17 Ce jour-là, ma colère s’enflammera contre lui, je les abandonnerai, je leur déroberai ma face, et il deviendra la pâture de chacun, et nombre de maux et d’angoisses viendront l’assaillir. Alors il se dira: "En vérité, c’est parce que mon Dieu n’est plus au milieu de moi que je suis en butte à ces malheurs."
And it will burn anger my on it on the day that and I will forsake them and I will hide face my from them and it will be for devouring and they will come upon it calamities many and troubles and it will say on the day that ¿ not on for not God my [is] in midst my have they come upon me the calamities these.
18 Mais alors même, je persisterai, moi, à dérober ma face, à cause du grave méfait qu’il aura commis en se tournant vers des dieux étrangers.
And I certainly I will hide face my on the day that on all the evil which it has done for it has turned to gods other.
19 Et maintenant, écrivez pour vous ce cantique, qu’on l’enseigne aux enfants d’Israël et qu’on le mette dans leur bouche, afin que ce cantique me serve de témoignage à l’encontre des enfants d’Israël.
And therefore write down for yourselves the song this and teach it [the] people of Israel put it in mouth their so that it may become for me the song this a witness on [the] people of Israel.
20 Quand j’aurai introduit ce peuple dans le pays que j’ai promis par serment à ses pères et où ruissellent le lait et le miel; vivant dans l’abondance et gorgé de délices, il s’adressera à des dieux étrangers, il les servira, me témoignera du mépris et rompra mon alliance.
If I will bring it into the land - which I swore to ancestors its flowing of milk and honey and it will eat and it will be satisfied and it will grow fat and it will turn to gods other and they will serve them and they will spurn me and it will break covenant my.
21 Vienne alors la multitude de maux et d’angoisses qui doivent l’atteindre, le présent cantique portera témoignage en face de lui (car la bouche de sa postérité ne l’oubliera point), parce que je sais ce qu’aujourd’hui déjà son penchant le porte à faire, avant même que je l’aie introduit dans la terre par moi promise!"
And it will be that they will come upon it calamities many and troubles and it will testify the song this before it to a witness for not it will be forgotten from [the] mouth of offspring its for I know intention its which it [is] making this day before I will bring it into the land which I swore.
22 Et Moïse écrivit le cantique suivant, ce jour même, et le fit apprendre aux enfants d’Israël.
And he wrote down Moses the song this on the day that and he taught it [the] people of Israel.
23 Et l’Éternel donna ses ordres à Josué, fils de Noun, et lui dit: "Sois ferme et courageux! Car c’est toi qui introduiras les Israélites dans la terre que je leur ai promise, et moi je t’assisterai."
And he commissioned Joshua [the] son of Nun and he said be strong and be bold for you you will bring [the] people of Israel into the land which I swore to them and I I will be with you.
24 Or, lorsque Moïse eut achevé de transcrire les paroles de cette loi sur un livre, jusqu’au bout,
And it was - when finished Moses to write down [the] words of the law this on a book until were complete they.
25 il ordonna aux Lévites, porteurs de l’arche d’alliance du Seigneur, ce qui suit:
And he commanded Moses the Levites [who] carry [the] ark of [the] covenant of Yahweh saying.
26 "Prenez ce livre de la loi et déposez-le à côté de l’arche d’alliance de l’Éternel, votre Dieu; il y restera comme un témoin contre toi.
Take [the] book of the law this and you will put it from [the] side of [the] ark of [the] covenant of Yahweh God your and it will become there on you a witness.
27 Car je connais ton indocilité et ton caractère obstiné: certes, si, moi vivant encore, étant avec vous à cette heure, vous vous êtes insurgés contre l’Éternel, que sera-ce après ma mort!
For I I know rebellion your and neck your stiff here! when still I [am] alive with you this day rebellious you have been with Yahweh and indeed? for after death my.
28 Faites réunir autour de moi tous les anciens de vos tribus et vos magistrats: je veux faire parvenir ces paroles à leurs oreilles, et prendre à témoin contre eux les cieux et la terre.
Assemble to me all [the] elders of tribes your and officials your and let me speak in ears their the words these so I may call as witnesses against them the heavens and the earth.
29 Car je sais qu’après ma mort vous irez dégénérant, et que vous dévierez du chemin que je vous ai prescrit; mais il vous arrivera malheur dans la suite des temps, pour avoir fait ce qui déplaît au Seigneur, pour l’avoir offensé par l’œuvre de vos mains!"
For I know after death my that certainly you will act corruptly! and you will turn aside from the way which I have commanded you and it will happen to you evil at [the] end of the days for you will do the evil in [the] eyes of Yahweh to provoke to anger him by [the] work of hands your.
30 Et Moïse fit entendre à toute l’assemblée d’Israël les paroles du cantique suivant, jusqu’à la fin:
And he spoke Moses in [the] ears of all [the] assembly of Israel [the] words of the song this until were complete they.
