2 Samuel 7
1 Or, comme le roi vivait tranquille en sa demeure, et que, par la protection divine, tous ses ennemis d’alentour le laissaient en paix,
And it was that he dwelt the king in house his and Yahweh he had given rest to him from round about from all enemies his.
2 il dit à Nathan le prophète: "Vois, j’habite un palais de cèdre, et l’arche du Seigneur est logée sous une tente!"
And he said the king to Nathan the prophet see please I [am] dwelling in a house of cedar and [the] ark of God [is] dwelling in [the] midst of the tent curtain.
3 Nathan répondit au roi: "Tout ce qui est dans ta pensée, va, exécute-le, car le Seigneur est avec toi."
And he said Nathan to the king all that [is] in heart your go do for Yahweh [is] with you.
4 Cependant, cette nuit même, la parole de l’Eternel s’adressa ainsi à Nathan:
And it was in the night that and it came [the] word of Yahweh to Nathan saying.
5 "Va dire à mon serviteur, à David: Ainsi a parlé l’Eternel: Quoi! Tu veux m’ériger un temple pour ma résidence?
Go and you will say to servant my to David thus he says Yahweh ¿ you will you build for me a house to dwell in I.
6 Pourtant je n’ai point demeuré dans un temple, depuis le jour où je tirai de l’Egypte les enfants d’Israël jusqu’à ce jour, mais j’ai voyagé sous une tente, dans un pavillon.
For not I have dwelt in a house from [the] day brought up I [the] people of Israel from Egypt and until the day this and I have been going about in a tent and in a tabernacle.
7 Tout le temps que j’ai marché au milieu des enfants d’Israël, ai-je dit à un seul homme entre les tribus d’Israël, à ceux que j’ai donnés pour pasteurs à mon peuple Israël, ai-je dit: "Pourquoi ne me bâtissez-vous pas une maison de cèdre?"
In every where I went about among all [the] people of Israel ¿ a word did I speak with one of [the] tribes of Israel whom I commanded to shepherd people my Israel saying why? not have you built for me a house of cedars.
8 Donc parle de la sorte à mon serviteur David: Ainsi a parlé l’Eternel-Cebaot: Je t’ai tiré du bercail où tu gardais les brebis, pour t’établir chef de mon peuple Israël.
And therefore thus you will say to servant my to David thus he says Yahweh of hosts I I took you from the pasture from after the flock to be ruler over people my over Israel.
9 Je t’ai assisté dans toutes tes voies, j’ai détruit devant toi tous tes ennemis, et je t’ai fait un grand nom, égal aux plus grands noms de la terre.
And I have been with you in every where you went and I cut off! all enemies your from before you and I will make for you a name great like [the] name of the great [people] who [are] on the earth.
10 J’Ai assigné à mon peuple Israël une résidence où je l’ai implanté, et où il se maintiendra et ne sera plus inquiété; et des gens pervers ne le molesteront plus comme précédemment.
And I will appoint a place for people my for Israel and I will plant it and it will dwell in it and not it will be agitated again and not they will repeat sons of injustice to afflict it just as at the former [time].
11 Depuis l’époque où j’ai préposé des juges à mon peuple Israël, je n’ai accordé qu’à toi la sécurité à l’égard de tous tes ennemis. L’Eternel t’a annoncé par là que lui-même veut t’ériger une maison.
And from the day when I appointed judges over people my Israel and I will give rest to you from all enemies your and he tells to you Yahweh that a house he will make for you Yahweh.
12 Quand tes jours seront accomplis et que tu reposeras auprès de tes pères, j’établirai à ta place ta progéniture, celui qui doit naître de toi, et j’affermirai son empire.
If - they will be completed days your and you will lie down with ancestors your and I will raise up offspring your after you who he will come out from inward parts your and I will establish kingdom his.
13 C’Est lui qui édifiera un temple en mon honneur, et j’assurerai à jamais le trône de sa royauté.
He he will build a house for name my and I will establish [the] throne of kingdom his until perpetuity.
14 Je lui serai un père, et lui me sera un fils; tellement que s’il vient à forfaire, je ne le châtierai qu’à la façon des hommes et par des plaies tout humaines.
I I will become of him a father and he he will become of me a son who when does wrong he and I will reprove him with a rod of men and with wounds of children of humankind.
15 Ma grâce ne l’abandonnera point comme elle a abandonné Saül, que j’ai dépossédé pour toi.
And covenant loyalty my not it will depart from him just as I removed [it] from with Saul whom I removed from to before you.
16 Oui, ta maison et ta royauté sont à jamais assurées devant toi; ton trône sera stable pour toujours."
And it will be established house your and kingdom your until perpetuity before you throne your it will be established until perpetuity.
17 Toutes ces paroles et toute cette vision, Nathan les rapporta fidèlement à David.
According to all the words these and according to all the vision this so he spoke Nathan to David.
18 Le roi David alla se mettre en présence du Seigneur et dit: "Qui suis-je, Seigneur Elohim, et qu’est-ce que ma famille, pour que tu m’aies amené jusqu’ici?
And he went the king David and he sat before Yahweh and he said who? [am] I O Lord Yahweh and who? [is] house my that you have brought me to here.
19 Encore était-ce trop peu à tes yeux, Seigneur Elohim, et tu as même annoncé, dans un lointain avenir, le sort de ma famille: est-ce donc là le lot d’un mortel, Seigneur Dieu?
And it was small yet this [thing] in view your O Lord Yahweh and you have spoken also concerning [the] house of servant your from distant [time] and this [is] [the] manner of humankind O Lord Yahweh.
20 Que pourrait David te dire encore de plus, à toi, Seigneur Dieu, qui connais bien ton serviteur?
And what? will he increase David again to speak to you and you you know servant your O Lord Yahweh.
21 A cause de ta promesse et selon ta volonté, tu as accompli ces grandes choses et les as révélées à ton serviteur.
For sake of word your and according to own heart your you have done all the greatness this to make know [it] servant your.
22 Par là tu t’es montré grand, Seigneur Dieu! Car nul n’est comme toi, point de Dieu hormis toi, ainsi que nous l’avons entendu de nos oreilles.
There-fore you are great O Lord Yahweh for there not [is] like you and there not [is] a God except you in all that we have heard with ears our.
23 Et y a-t-il, comme ton peuple, comme Israël, une seule nation sur la terre que des dieux soient allés délivrer pour en faire leur peuple, lui assurant ainsi un nom, opérant pour vous des choses grandes et imposantes comme tu as agi envers ton pays, en faveur de ton peuple que tu as arraché pour toi à l’Egypte, à des peuples et à leurs divinités?
And who? [is] like people your like Israel a nation one on the earth which they went God to redeem for himself to a people and to make for himself a name and to do for you greatness and awesome [deeds] for land your from before people your which you redeemed for yourself from Egypt nations and gods its.
24 Tu as institué ton peuple Israël pour qu’il fût ton peuple à jamais, et toi, Seigneur, tu es devenu leur Dieu.
And you established for yourself people your Israel - of you to a people until perpetuity and you O Yahweh you have become for them God.
25 Et maintenant, Seigneur Dieu, la parole que tu as prononcée sur ton serviteur et sur sa maison, maintiens-la à jamais, et fais comme tu l’as dit.
And now O Yahweh God the word which you have spoken on servant your and on house his establish until perpetuity and do just as you have spoken.
26 Que ton nom soit exalté à jamais par cette parole: "L’Eternel-Cebaot est le Dieu d’Israël!" et que la maison de ton serviteur David se maintienne devant toi.
And it may be great name your until perpetuity saying Yahweh of hosts [is] God over Israel and [the] house of servant your David it will be established before you.
27 Puisque toi-même, Eternel-Cebaot, Dieu d’Israël, tu as révélé à l’oreille de ton serviteur cette parole: "Je veux t’édifier une maison", ton serviteur s’est trouvé enhardi à t’adresser cette prière.
For you O Yahweh of hosts [the] God of Israel you have uncovered [the] ear of servant your saying a house I will build for you there-fore he has found servant your heart his to pray to you the prayer this.
28 Or, Seigneur Elohim, tu es le vrai Dieu, tes promesses sont vérité, et toi-même as promis ce bien à ton serviteur.
And now - O Lord Yahweh you he [are] God and words your they are truth and you have spoken to servant your the good this.
29 Veuille donc bénir la maison de ton serviteur, qu’elle subsiste constamment devant toi! Car c’est toi qui as parlé, Seigneur Elohim, et par ta bénédiction sera bénie à jamais la maison de ton serviteur."
And now be willing and bless [the] house of servant your to be for ever before you for you O Lord Yahweh you have spoken and from blessing your it will be blessed [the] house of servant your for ever.
