1 Et l’Éternel parla à Moïse, disant:
And he spoke Yahweh to Moses saying.
2 Parle à Aaron et dis-lui: Quand tu allumeras les lampes, les sept lampes éclaireront sur le devant, vis-à-vis du chandelier.
Speak to Aaron and you will say to him when lifting up you the lamps to [the] front of [the] face of the lampstand they will give light [the] seven the lamps.
3 Et Aaron fit ainsi; il alluma les lampes [pour éclairer] sur le devant, vis-à-vis du chandelier, comme l’Éternel l’avait commandé à Moïse.
And he did so Aaron to [the] front of [the] face of the lampstand he lifted up lamps its just as he had commanded Yahweh Moses.
4 Et le chandelier était fait ainsi: il était d’or battu; depuis son pied jusqu’à ses fleurs, il était [d’or] battu. Selon la forme que l’Éternel avait montrée à Moïse, ainsi il avait fait le chandelier.
And this [was] [the] work of the lampstand hammered work gold to base its to blossom its [was] hammered work it like the appearance which he had shown Yahweh Moses so he made the lampstand.
5 Et l’Éternel parla à Moïse, disant:
And he spoke Yahweh to Moses saying.
6 Prends les Lévites du milieu des fils d’Israël, et purifie-les.
Take the Levites from among [the] people of Israel and you will purify them.
7 Et tu leur feras ainsi pour les purifier: tu feras aspersion sur eux de l’eau de purification du péché; et ils feront passer le rasoir sur toute leur chair, et ils laveront leurs vêtements, et se purifieront.
And thus you will do to them to purify them spatter on them water of sin offering and they will cause to pass a razor over all body their and they will wash clothes their and they will purify themselves.
8 Et ils prendront un jeune taureau, et son offrande de gâteau de fleur de farine pétrie à l’huile; et tu prendras un second jeune taureau, pour sacrifice pour le péché.
And they will take a young bull a young one of cattle and grain offering its fine flour mixed with oil and a young bull second a young one of cattle you will take to a sin offering.
9 Et tu feras approcher les Lévites devant la tente d’assignation, et tu réuniras toute l’assemblée des fils d’Israël;
And you will bring near the Levites before [the] tent of meeting and you will assemble all [the] congregation of [the] people of Israel.
10 et tu feras approcher les Lévites devant l’Éternel, et les fils d’Israël poseront leurs mains sur les Lévites;
And you will bring near the Levites before Yahweh and they will lay [the] people of Israel hands their on the Levites.
11 et Aaron offrira les Lévites en offrande tournoyée devant l’Éternel, de la part des fils d’Israël, et ils seront employés au service de l’Éternel.
And he will wave Aaron the Levites a wave-offering before Yahweh from with [the] people of Israel and they will be to serve [the] service of Yahweh.
12 Et les Lévites poseront leurs mains sur la tête des taureaux; et tu offriras l’un en sacrifice pour le péché, et l’autre en holocauste à l’Éternel, afin de faire propitiation pour les Lévites.
And the Levites they will lay hands their on [the] head of the young bulls and offer the one a sin offering and the one a burnt offering to Yahweh to make atonement on the Levites.
13 Et tu feras tenir les Lévites devant Aaron et devant ses fils, et tu les offriras en offrande tournoyée à l’Éternel.
And you will make stand the Levites before Aaron and before sons his and you will wave them a wave-offering to Yahweh.
14 Et tu sépareras les Lévites du milieu des fils d’Israël, et les Lévites seront à moi.
And you will separate the Levites from among [the] people of Israel and they will belong to me the Levites.
15 – Après cela les Lévites viendront pour faire le service de la tente d’assignation, et tu les purifieras, et tu les offriras en offrande tournoyée;
And after thus they will go the Levites to serve [the] tent of meeting and you will purify them and you will wave them a wave-offering.
16 car ils me sont entièrement donnés du milieu des fils d’Israël: je les ai pris pour moi à la place de tous ceux qui ouvrent la matrice, de tous les premiers-nés d’entre les fils d’Israël.
For [are] assigned assigned they to me from among [the] people of Israel in place of [the] firstborn of every womb [the] firstborn of all from [the] people of Israel I have taken them for myself.
17 Car tout premier-né parmi les fils d’Israël est à moi, tant les hommes que les bêtes; je me les suis sanctifiés le jour où je frappai tout premier-né dans le pays d’Égypte.
For [belongs] to me every firstborn among [the] people of Israel among humankind and among the livestock on [the] day struck I every firstborn in [the] land of Egypt I set apart them for myself.
18 Et j’ai pris les Lévites à la place de tous les premiers-nés parmi les fils d’Israël.
And I have taken the Levites in place of every firstborn among [the] people of Israel.
19 Et j’ai donné les Lévites en don à Aaron et à ses fils, du milieu des fils d’Israël, pour s’employer au service des fils d’Israël à la tente d’assignation, et pour faire propitiation pour les fils d’Israël, afin qu’il n’y ait pas de plaie au milieu des fils d’Israël quand les fils d’Israël s’approcheraient du lieu saint.
And I have given! the Levites given [things] - to Aaron and to sons his from among [the] people of Israel to serve [the] service of [the] people of Israel in [the] tent of meeting and to make atonement on [the] people of Israel and not it will be among [the] people of Israel a plague when draw near [the] people of Israel to the holy place.
20 – Et Moïse et Aaron, et toute l’assemblée des fils d’Israël, firent à l’égard des Lévites tout ce que l’Éternel avait commandé à Moïse touchant les Lévites; les fils d’Israël firent ainsi à leur égard.
And he did Moses and Aaron and all [the] congregation of [the] people of Israel to the Levites according to all that he had commanded Yahweh Moses of the Levites so they did to them [the] people of Israel.
21 Et les Lévites se purifièrent, et lavèrent leurs vêtements; et Aaron les offrit en offrande tournoyée devant l’Éternel; et Aaron fit propitiation pour eux, pour les purifier.
And they purified themselves the Levites and they washed clothes their and he waved Aaron them a wave-offering before Yahweh and he made atonement on them Aaron to purify them.
22 Et après cela, les Lévites vinrent pour faire leur service à la tente d’assignation, devant Aaron et devant ses fils. Comme l’Éternel avait commandé à Moïse touchant les Lévites, ainsi on fit à leur égard.
And after thus they went the Levites to serve service their in [the] tent of meeting before Aaron and before sons his just as he had commanded Yahweh Moses on the Levites so they did to them.
23 Et l’Éternel parla à Moïse, disant:
And he spoke Yahweh to Moses saying.
24 C’est ici ce qui concerne les Lévites: Depuis l’âge de 25 ans et au-dessus, [le Lévite] entrera en service pour être employé à la tente d’assignation;
This [is that] which [is] to the Levites from a son of five and twenty year[s] and up-wards he will go to serve service in [the] service of [the] tent of meeting.
25 et depuis l’âge de 50 ans, il se retirera du labeur du service, et ne servira plus;
And from a son of fifty year[s] he will turn back from [the] service of the service and not he will serve again.
26 et il s’emploiera avec ses frères à la tente d’assignation, pour garder ce qui doit être gardé, mais il ne fera pas de service. Tu feras ainsi à l’égard des Lévites touchant leurs charges.
And he will serve brothers his in [the] tent of meeting by keeping a duty and service not he will serve thus you will do to the Levites in duties their.
