1 Ce sont ici les traites des fils d’Israël, qui sortirent du pays d’Égypte, selon leurs armées, sous la main de Moïse et d’Aaron.

3 Ils partirent de Ramsès, le premier mois, le quinzième jour du premier mois: le lendemain de la Pâque, les fils d’Israël sortirent à main levée, aux yeux de tous les Égyptiens;

and camen ayens Phiayroth, whiche biholdith Beelsephon, and settiden tentis bifor Magdalun.
8 Et ils partirent de devant Hahiroth, et passèrent au milieu de la mer, vers le désert, et allèrent le chemin de trois jours dans le désert d’Étham, et campèrent à Mara.
And thei yeden forth fro Phiairoth, and passiden bi the myddil see in to the wildirnesse, and thei yeden thre daies bi the deseert of Ethan, and settiden tentis in Mara.
9 Et ils partirent de Mara, et vinrent à Élim; et à Élim, il y avait douze fontaines d’eau et 70 palmiers, et ils campèrent là.
And thei yeden forth fro Mara, and camen in to Helym, where weren twelue wellis of watir, and seuenti palm trees; and there thei settiden tentis.
10 Et ils partirent d’Élim, et campèrent près de la mer Rouge.
But also thei yeden out fro thennus, and settiden tentis on the Reed See. And thei yeden forth fro the Reed See,
11 Et ils partirent de la mer Rouge, et campèrent dans le désert de Sin.
and settiden tentis in the deseert of Syn,
12 Et ils partirent du désert de Sin, et campèrent à Dophka.

13 Et ils partirent de Dophka, et campèrent à Alush.
And thei yeden forth fro Depheca, and settiden tentis in Haluys.
14 Et ils partirent d’Alush, et campèrent à Rephidim, où il n’y avait pas d’eau à boire pour le peuple.

19 Et ils partirent de Rithma, et campèrent à Rimmon-Pérets.
And thei yeden forth fro Rethma, and settiden tentis in Remon Phares;
20 Et ils partirent de Rimmon-Pérets, et campèrent à Libna.

21 Et ils partirent de Libna, et campèrent à Rissa.
And fro Lemphna thei settiden tentis in Ressa.
22 Et ils partirent de Rissa, et campèrent à Kehélatha.
And thei yeden out fro Ressa, and camen into Celatha;
23 Et ils partirent de Kehélatha, et campèrent dans la montagne de Shapher.

32 Et ils partirent de Bené-Jaakan, et campèrent à Hor-Guidgad.
And thei yeden forth fro Benalachan, and camen in to the hil of Galgad;
33 Et ils partirent de Hor-Guidgad, et campèrent à Jotbatha.

34 Et ils partirent de Jotbatha, et campèrent à Abrona.
And fro Jethebacha thei camen in to Ebrona.
35 Et ils partirent d’Abrona, et campèrent à Étsion-Guéber.
And thei yeden out fro Ebrona, and settiden tentis in Asiongaber;
36 Et ils partirent d’Étsion-Guéber, et campèrent dans le désert de Tsin, qui est Kadès.

37 Et ils partirent de Kadès, et campèrent dans la montagne de Hor, aux confins du pays d’Édom.
And thei yeden fro Cades, and thei settiden tentis in the hil of Hor, in the laste coostis of the lond of Edom.
38 Et Aaron le sacrificateur monta sur la montagne de Hor, suivant le commandement de l’Éternel, et il y mourut, en la quarantième année après que les fils d’Israël furent sortis du pays d’Égypte, le cinquième mois, le premier [jour] du mois:

44 Et ils partirent d’Oboth, et campèrent à Ijim-Abarim, sur la frontière de Moab.
And fro Oboth thei camen in to Neabarym, `that is, into the wildirnesse of Abarym, which is in the endis of Moabitis.
45 Et ils partirent d’Ijim, et campèrent à Dibon-Gad.
And thei yeden forth fro Neabarym, and thei settiden tentis in Dibon of Gad;
46 Et ils partirent de Dibon-Gad, et campèrent à Almon, vers Diblathaïm.

47 Et ils partirent d’Almon vers Diblathaïm, et campèrent dans les montagnes d’Abarim, devant Nebo.
And thei yeden out fro Helmon of Deblathaym, and camen to the hillis of Abarym, ayens Nabo.
48 Et ils partirent des montagnes d’Abarim, et campèrent dans les plaines de Moab, près du Jourdain de Jéricho;
And thei yeden forth fro the hillis of Abarym, and passiden to the feeldi places of Moab, ouer Jordan, ayens Jericho.
49 et ils campèrent près du Jourdain, depuis Beth-Jeshimoth jusqu’à Abel-Sittim, dans les plaines de Moab.
And there thei settiden tentis, fro Bethsymon `til to Belsathym, in the pleynere places of Moabitis,
50 Et l’Éternel parla à Moïse, dans les plaines de Moab, près du Jourdain de Jéricho, disant:

51 Parle aux fils d’Israël, et dis-leur: Quand vous aurez passé le Jourdain [et que vous serez entrés] dans le pays de Canaan,

52 vous déposséderez tous les habitants du pays devant vous, et vous détruirez toutes leurs figures sculptées, et vous détruirez toutes leurs images de fonte, et vous dévasterez tous leurs hauts lieux;
distrie ye alle the dwelleris of that cuntrey; breke ye the titlis, `that is, auteris, and dryue ye to poudre the ymagis, and distrie ye alle heiy thingis,
53 et vous prendrez possession du pays, et vous y habiterez, car je vous ai donné le pays pour le posséder.

54 Et vous recevrez le pays en héritage par le sort, selon vos familles: à ceux qui sont nombreux, vous augmenterez l’héritage, et à ceux qui sont peu nombreux, vous diminuerez l’héritage; là où le sort lui sera échu, là sera [l’héritage] de chacun: vous hériterez selon les tribus de vos pères.
you that lond into possessioun whiche ye schulen departe to you bi lot; to mo men ye schulen yyue largere lond, and to fewere men streytere lond, as lot fallith to alle men, so eritage schal be youun; possessioun schal be departid bi lynagis and meynees.
55 Et si vous ne dépossédez pas devant vous les habitants du pays, ceux d’entre eux que vous laisserez de reste seront comme des épines à vos yeux et comme des piquants dans vos côtés, et ils vous opprimeront dans le pays que vous habiterez.

56 Et il arrivera que je vous ferai à vous, comme j’ai pensé de leur faire, à eux.
