1 Et l’Éternel parla à Moïse et à Aaron, disant:
And the Lord spake vnto Moses, and to Aaron, saying,
2 Les fils d’Israël camperont chacun près de sa bannière, sous les enseignes de leurs maisons de pères; ils camperont autour de la tente d’assignation, à distance, vis-à-vis.
Euery man of the children of Israel shall campe by his standerd, and vnder the ensigne of their fathers house: farre off about the Tabernacle of the Congregation shall they pitch.
3 [Voici] ceux qui camperont à l’orient, vers le levant, [sous] la bannière du camp de Juda, selon leurs armées: le prince des fils de Juda, Nakhshon, fils d’Amminadab,
On the East side towarde the rising of the sunne, shall they of the standerd of the hoste of Iudah pitch according to their armies: and Nahshon the sonne of Amminadab shalbe captaine of the sonnes of Iudah.
4 et son armée; et ses dénombrés, 74 600.
And his hoste and the nomber of the were seuentie and foure thousande and sixe hundreth.
5 – Et ceux qui camperont près de lui, sont la tribu d’Issacar: le prince des fils d’Issacar, Nethaneël, fils de Tsuar,
Next vnto him shall they of the tribe of Issachar pitch, and Nethaneel the sonne of Zuar shalbe the captaine of the sonnes of Issachar:
6 et son armée; et ses dénombrés, 54 400.
And his hoste, and the nomber thereof were foure and fiftie thousand, and foure hundreth.
7 – [Avec eux] sera la tribu de Zabulon: le prince des fils de Zabulon, Éliab, fils de Hélon,
Then the tribe of Zebulun, and Eliab the sonne of Helon, captaine ouer the sonnes of Zebulun:
8 et son armée; et ses dénombrés, 57 400.
And his hoste, and the nomber thereof seuen and fiftie thousand and foure hundreth:
9 – Tous les dénombrés du camp de Juda, 186 400, selon leurs armées; ils partiront les premiers.
The whole nomber of the hoste of Iudah are an hundreth fourescore and sixe thousande, and foure hundreth according to their armies: they shall first set foorth.
10 La bannière du camp de Ruben, selon ses armées, sera vers le midi: le prince des fils de Ruben, Élitsur, fils de Shedéur,
On the South side shalbe ye standerd of the host of Reuben according to their armies, and the captaine ouer the sonnes of Reuben shalbe Elizur the sonne of Shedeur.
11 et son armée; et ses dénombrés, 46 500.
And his host, and the nomber thereof sixe and fourty thousand and fiue hundreth.
12 – Et ceux qui camperont près de lui, sont la tribu de Siméon: le prince des fils de Siméon, Shelumiel, fils de Tsurishaddaï,
And by him shall the tribe of Simeon pitch, and the captaiue ouer the sonnes of Simeon shall be Shelumiel the sonne of Zurishaddai:
13 et son armée; et ses dénombrés, 59 300.
And his hoste, and the nomber of them, nine and fiftie thousand and three hundreth.
14 – Et [avec eux] sera la tribu de Gad: le prince des fils de Gad, Éliasaph, fils de Rehuel,
And the tribe of Gad, and the captaine ouer the sonnes of Gad shall be Eliasaph the sonne of Deuel:
15 et son armée; et ses dénombrés, 45 650.
And his host and the nomber of the were fiue and fourtye thousande, sixe hundreth and fiftie.
16 – Tous les dénombrés du camp de Ruben, 151 450, selon leurs armées; et ils partiront les seconds.
All the nomber of the campe of Reuben were an hundreth and one and fiftie thousande, and foure hundreth and fiftie according to their armies, and they shall set foorth in the seconde place.
17 Et la tente d’assignation partira, le camp des Lévites étant au milieu des camps; comme ils auront campé, ainsi ils partiront, chacun à sa place, selon leurs bannières.
Then the Tabernacle of the Congregation shall goe with the host of the Leuites, in the mids of the campe as they haue pitched, so shall they goe forwarde, euery man in his order according to their standerds.
18 La bannière du camp d’Éphraïm, selon ses armées, sera vers l’occident: le prince des fils d’Éphraïm, Élishama, fils d’Ammihud,
The standerd of the campe of Ephraim shalbe toward the west according to their armies: and ye captaine ouer the sonnes of Ephraim shall be Elishama the sonne of Ammihud:
19 et son armée; et ses dénombrés, 40 500.
And his host and the nomber of the were fortie thousand and fiue hundreth.
20 – Et près de lui la tribu de Manassé: le prince des fils de Manassé, Gameliel, fils de Pedahtsur,
And by him shalbe the tribe of Manasseh, and the captaine ouer the sonnes of Manasseh shalbe Gamliel the sonne of Pedahzur:
21 et son armée; et ses dénombrés, 32 200.
And his hoste and the nomber of them were two and thirtie thousand and two hundreth.
22 – Et [avec eux] sera la tribu de Benjamin: le prince des fils de Benjamin, Abidan, fils de Guidhoni,
And the tribe of Beniamin, and ye captaine ouer the sonnes of Beniamin shalbe Abidan the sonne of Gideoni:
23 et son armée; et ses dénombrés, 35 400.
And his host, and the nomber of the were fiue and thirtie thousand and foure hundreth.
24 – Tous les dénombrés du camp d’Éphraïm, 108 100, selon leurs armées; et ils partiront les troisièmes.
All the nomber of the campe of Ephraim were an hundreth and eight thousande and one hundreth according to their armies, and they shall go in the third place.
25 La bannière du camp de Dan, selon ses armées, sera vers le nord: le prince des fils de Dan, Akhiézer, fils d’Ammishaddaï,
The standerd of the host of Dan shalbe toward the North according to their armies: and the captaine ouer the children of Dan shall be Ahiezer the sonne of Ammishaddai:
26 et son armée; et ses dénombrés, 62 700.
And his host and the number of them were two and threescore thousand and seue hundreth.
27 – Et ceux qui camperont près de lui, sont la tribu d’Aser: le prince des fils d’Aser, Paghiel, fils d’Ocran,
And by him shall the tribe of Asher pitch, and the captaine ouer the sonnes of Asher shalbe Pagiel the sonne of Ocran.
28 et son armée; et ses dénombrés, 41 500.
And his host and the nomber of them were one and fourtie thousand and fiue hundreth.
29 – Et [avec eux] sera la tribu de Nephthali: le prince des fils de Nephthali, Akhira, fils d’Énan,
Then the tribe of Naphtali, and the captaine ouer the children of Naphtali shall be Ahira the sonne of Enan:
30 et son armée; et ses dénombrés, 53 400.
And his host and the nomber of them were three and fiftie thousand and foure hundreth.
31 – Tous les dénombrés du camp de Dan, 157 600; ils partiront les derniers, selon leurs bannières.
All the nomber of the host of Dan was an hundreth and seuen and fiftie thousand and sixe hundreth: they shall goe hinmost with their standerdes.
32 Ce sont là les dénombrés des fils d’Israël, selon leurs maisons de pères. Tous les dénombrés des camps, selon leurs armées, furent 603 550.
These are the summes of the childre of Israel by ye houses of their fathers, all the nomber of ye host, according to their armies, six hundreth and three thousand, fiue hundreth and fiftie.
33 Mais les Lévites ne furent pas dénombrés parmi les fils d’Israël, ainsi que l’Éternel l’avait commandé à Moïse.
But the Leuites were not nombred among the children of Israel, as the Lord had commanded Moses.
34 Et les fils d’Israël firent selon tout ce que l’Éternel avait commandé à Moïse: ainsi ils campèrent selon leurs bannières, et ainsi ils partirent, chacun selon leurs familles, selon leurs maisons de pères.
And the children of Israel did according to all that the Lord had commanded Moses: so they pitched according to their standards, and so they iourneyed euery one with his families, according to the houses of their fathers.
