Jean 1
1 Au commencement était la Parole; et la Parole était auprès de Dieu; et la Parole était Dieu.
IN the beginning was the Word, and the Word himself was with Aloha, and Aloha was the Word himself.
2 Elle était au commencement auprès de Dieu.
This was in the beginning with Aloha.
3 Toutes choses furent faites par elle, et sans elle pas une seule chose ne fut faite de ce qui a été fait.
Every thing by his hand was made; and without him also was not one thing made that was made.
4 En elle était [la] vie, et la vie était la lumière des hommes.
In him was life, and the life is the light of the sons of man;
5 Et la lumière luit dans les ténèbres; et les ténèbres ne l’ont pas comprise.
and the Light himself in the darkness shineth, and the darkness perceived him not.
6 Il y eut un homme envoyé de Dieu; son nom était Jean.
There was a man who was sent from Aloha, his name (was) Juchanon.
7 Celui-ci vint pour [rendre] témoignage, pour rendre témoignage de la lumière, afin que tous croient par lui.
He came for the testimony, to testify concerning the Light, that all men might believe through his ministry.
8 Lui n’était pas la lumière, mais pour rendre témoignage de la lumière:
He was not the Light himself, but came to testify concerning the Light.
9 la vraie lumière était celle, qui, venant dans le monde, éclaire tout homme.
For that was the true Light that enlighteneth every man who cometh into the world.
10 Il était dans le monde, et le monde fut fait par lui; et le monde ne l’a pas connu.
In the world was he, and the world by his hand had been made, and the world knew him not.
11 Il vint chez soi; et les siens ne l’ont pas reçu.
He came to his own, and his own received him not.
12 Mais à tous ceux qui l’ont reçu, il leur a donné le droit d’être enfants de Dieu, [savoir] à ceux qui croient en son nom;
But they who received him, he gave to them power, that the sons of Aloha they should become, to those who believe in his name.
13 lesquels sont nés, non pas de sang, ni de la volonté de la chair, ni de la volonté de l’homme, mais de Dieu.
These, not from blood, nor from the will of the flesh, nor from the will of man, but from Aloha, are born.
14 Et la Parole devint chair, et habita au milieu de nous (et nous avons vu sa gloire, une gloire comme d’un fils unique de la part du Père) pleine de grâce et de vérité;
And the Word flesh was made, and tabernacled with us; and we saw his glory, the glory as of the one-begotten who (was) from the Father, full of grace and truth.
15 – Jean rend témoignage de lui, et a crié, disant: C’était celui-ci duquel je disais: Celui qui vient après moi prend place avant moi; car il était avant moi;
Juchanon testified concerning him, and cried, and said, This is he of whom I said, that he cometh after me, and was before me, because he is anterior to me.
16 – car, de sa plénitude, nous tous nous avons reçu, et grâce sur grâce.
And from his fulness we all have received, and grace for grace.
17 Car la loi a été donnée par Moïse; la grâce et la vérité vinrent par Jésus Christ.
For the law by the hand of Musha was given; but the truth and the grace were by Jeshu Meshicha.
18 Personne ne vit jamais Dieu; le Fils unique, qui est dans le sein du Père, lui, l’a fait connaître.
ALOHA no man hath ever seen: the one-begotten God, he who is in the bosom of his Father, he hath declared him.
19 Et c’est ici le témoignage de Jean, lorsque les Juifs envoyèrent de Jérusalem des sacrificateurs et des lévites, pour lui demander: Toi, qui es-tu?
And this was the testimony of Juchanon, when the Jihudoyee sent to him from Urishlem priests and Levoyee to demand of him, Who art thou?
20 Et il confessa, et ne nia pas, et confessa: Moi, je ne suis pas le Christ.
And he confessed, and denied not, but confessed, I am not the Meshicha.
21 Et ils lui demandèrent: Quoi donc? Es-tu Élie? Et il dit: Je ne le suis pas. Es-tu le prophète? Et il répondit: Non.
And they asked him again, What then? art thou Elia? And he said, I am not. Art thou the Prophet? And he said, No.
22 Ils lui dirent donc: Qui es-tu, afin que nous donnions réponse à ceux qui nous ont envoyés? Que dis-tu de toi-même?
And they said to him, And who art thou? that we may give an answer to those who sent us. What sayest thou of thyself?
23 Il dit: Moi, je suis la voix de celui qui crie dans le désert: Faites droit le chemin du Seigneur, comme dit Ésaïe le prophète.
He saith, I am the voice which crieth in the wilderness, Make plain the way of the Lord, as said Eshaia the prophet.
24 Et ils avaient été envoyés d’entre les pharisiens.
But they who were sent were from the Pharishee.
25 Et ils l’interrogèrent et lui dirent: Pourquoi donc baptises-tu, si tu n’es ni le Christ, ni Élie, ni le prophète?
And they demanded and said to him, Why then baptizest thou, if thou art not the Meshicha, nor Elia, nor the Prophet?
26 Jean leur répondit, disant: Moi, je baptise d’eau; [mais] au milieu de vous il y en a un que vous ne connaissez pas,
Juchanon answered and said to them, I baptize you with waters; but he standeth among you whom you know not:
27 celui qui vient après moi, duquel moi je ne suis pas digne de délier la courroie de la sandale.
he it is who cometh after me, and he was before me; he, the latchets of whose shoes I am not worthy to unloose.
28 Ces choses arrivèrent à Béthanie, au-delà du Jourdain, où Jean baptisait.
These things were done in Bethania, at the passage of the Jurdan, where Juchanon was baptizing.
29 Le lendemain, il voit Jésus venant à lui, et il dit: Voilà l’agneau de Dieu qui ôte le péché du monde!
AND the day after, Juchanon seeth Jeshu, who was coming to him; and he said, Behold the Lamb of Aloha, who beareth the sin of the world!
30 C’est de celui-ci que moi, je disais: Après moi vient un homme qui prend place avant moi, car il était avant moi.
This is he concerning whom I said, After me cometh a man, and he was before me, because he is anterior to me.
31 Et pour moi, je ne le connaissais pas; mais afin qu’il soit manifesté à Israël, à cause de cela, je suis venu baptiser d’eau.
And I knew him not, but that he should be made known unto Isroel, therefore have I come with waters to baptize.
32 Et Jean rendit témoignage, disant: J’ai vu l’Esprit descendant du ciel comme une colombe, et il demeura sur lui.
And Juchanon testified and said, I saw the Spirit descending from heaven as a dove, and it remained upon him.
33 Et pour moi, je ne le connaissais pas; mais celui qui m’a envoyé baptiser d’eau, celui-là me dit: Celui sur qui tu verras l’Esprit descendre, et demeurer sur lui, c’est celui-là qui baptise de l’Esprit Saint.
And I knew him not: but he who sent me to baptize with water, he said to me, He upon whom thou seest the Spirit descend and remain, this baptizeth with the Spirit of Holiness:
34 Et moi, j’ai vu et j’ai rendu témoignage que celui-ci est le Fils de Dieu.
and I saw, and bare witness that this is the Son of Aloha
35 Le lendemain encore, Jean se tint là, et deux de ses disciples;
And the day after Juchanon stood, and two of his disciples;
36 et regardant Jésus qui marchait, il dit: Voilà l’agneau de Dieu!
and, contemplating Jeshu as he walked, he said, Behold the Lamb of Aloha!
37 Et les deux disciples l’entendirent parler, et ils suivirent Jésus.
And his two disciples heard him as he spake, and they went after Jeshu.
38 Et Jésus se retournant, et voyant qu’ils le suivaient, leur dit: Que cherchez-vous? Et ils lui dirent: Rabbi (ce qui, interprété, signifie maître), où demeures-tu?
And Jeshu turned (himself), and saw them coming after him, and said to them, Whom seek you? They say to him, Raban, where dwellest thou?
39 Il leur dit: Venez et voyez. Ils allèrent donc, et virent où il demeurait; et ils demeurèrent auprès de lui ce jour-là: c’était environ la dixième heure.
He saith to them, Come and see. And they went and saw where he dwelt; and they were with him that day: and it was about the tenth hour.
40 André, le frère de Simon Pierre, était l’un des deux qui avaient entendu parler [de lui] à Jean, et qui l’avaient suivi.
Now one of those who heard Juchanon and went after Jeshu, was Andreas, the brother of Shemun.
41 Celui-ci trouve d’abord son propre frère Simon, et lui dit: Nous avons trouvé le Messie (ce qui, interprété, est Christ).
This saw first Shemun his brother, and said to him, We have found the Meshicha;
42 Et il le mena à Jésus. Jésus, l’ayant regardé, dit: Tu es Simon, le fils de Jonas; tu seras appelé Céphas (qui est interprété Pierre).
and he brought him to Jeshu. And Jeshu saw him, and said, Thou art Shemun bar Jona; thou shalt be called Kipha.
43 Le lendemain, il voulut s’en aller en Galilée. Et Jésus trouve Philippe, et lui dit: Suis-moi.
AND the day following Jeshu willed to go forth into Galila. And he found Philipos, and said to him, Come after me.
44 Or Philippe était de Bethsaïda, de la ville d’André et de Pierre.
Now Philipos was from Beth-tsaida, from the city of Andreas and of Shemun.
45 Philippe trouve Nathanaël et lui dit: Nous avons trouvé celui duquel Moïse a écrit dans la loi et duquel les prophètes ont écrit, Jésus, le fils de Joseph, qui est de Nazareth.
Philipos found Nathanael, and said to him, Him of whom Musha in the law, and the prophets, did write we have found, (and) that Jeshu (is) he, the son of Jauseph who is from Natsrath.
46 Et Nathanaël lui dit: Peut-il venir quelque chose de bon de Nazareth? Philippe lui dit: Viens et vois.
Saith to him Nathanael, From Natsrath can any good thing be? Philipos saith to him, Come and see.
47 Jésus vit Nathanaël venir vers lui, et il dit de lui: Voici un vrai Israélite, en qui il n’y a pas de fraude.
And Jeshu saw Nathanael as he was coming to him, and said of him, Behold truly a son of Isroel who hath no guile in him.
48 Nathanaël lui dit: D’où me connais-tu? Jésus répondit et lui dit: Avant que Philippe t’ait appelé, quand tu étais sous le figuier, je te voyais.
Nathanael saith to him, Whence knowest thou me? Jeshu saith to him, While yet Philipos had not called thee, while thou wast under the fig-tree, I saw thee.
49 Nathanaël répondit et lui dit: Rabbi, tu es le Fils de Dieu; tu es le roi d’Israël.
Nathanael answered and said to him, Rabi, thou art the Son of Aloha himself, thou art the very King of Isroel.
50 Jésus répondit et lui dit: Parce que je t’ai dit que je te voyais sous le figuier, tu crois? tu verras de plus grandes choses que celles-ci.
Jeshu saith to him, Upon my telling thee that I saw thee under the fig-tree, believest thou? Greater things than these thou shalt see.
51 Et il lui dit: En vérité, en vérité, je vous dis: Désormais vous verrez le ciel ouvert, et les anges de Dieu montant et descendant sur le fils de l’homme.
He saith to him, Amen, amen, I say to you, Hereafter you shall see the heavens opened, and the angels of Aloha ascending and descending unto the Son of man.
