Genèse 8

1 Et Dieu se souvint de Noé, et de tous les animaux et de tout le bétail, qui étaient avec lui dans l’arche; et Dieu fit passer un vent sur la terre, et les eaux baissèrent;

And god remebred Noe and all ye beastes and all ye catell yt were with hi in ye arke And god made a wynde to blow vppo ye erth and ye waters ceased:

2 et les fontaines de l’abîme et les écluses des cieux furent fermées, et la pluie qui tombait du ciel fut retenue.

ad ye fountaynes of the depe ad the wyndowes of heave were stopte and the rayne of heaven was forbidde

3 Et les eaux se retirèrent de dessus la terre, allant et se retirant; et les eaux diminuèrent au bout de 150 jours.

and the waters returned from of ye erth ad abated after the ende of an hundred and. l. dayes.

4 Et l’arche reposa sur les montagnes d’Ararat, au septième mois, au dix-septième jour du mois.

And the arke rested vppo the mountayns of Ararat the. xvij. daye of the. vij. moneth.

5 Et les eaux allèrent diminuant jusqu’au dixième mois; au dixième [mois], le premier [jour] du mois, les sommets des montagnes apparurent.

And the waters went away ad decreased vntyll the x. moneth. And the fyrst daye of the tenth moneth the toppes of the mounteyns appered.

6 Et il arriva, au bout de 40 jours, que Noé ouvrit la fenêtre de l’arche qu’il avait faite;

And after the ende of. xl. dayes. Noe opened the wyndow of the arke which he had made

7 et il lâcha le corbeau, qui sortit, allant et revenant jusqu’à ce que les eaux aient séché de dessus la terre.

ad sent forth a raven which went out ever goinge and cominge agayne vntyll the waters were dreyed vpp vppon the erth

8 Et il lâcha d’avec lui la colombe, pour voir si les eaux avaient baissé sur la face du sol;

Then sent he forth a doue from hym to wete whether the waters were fallen from of the erth.

9 mais la colombe ne trouva pas où poser la plante de son pied, et revint à lui dans l’arche, car les eaux étaient sur la face de toute la terre; et il étendit sa main, et la prit, et la fit entrer auprès de lui dans l’arche.

And when the doue coude fynde no restinge place for hyr fote she returned to him agayne vnto the arke for the waters were vppon the face of all the erth. And he put out hys honde and toke her and pulled hyr to hym in to the arke

10 Et il attendit encore sept autres jours, et il lâcha de nouveau la colombe hors de l’arche.

And he abode yet. vij. dayes mo and sent out the doue agayne out of the arke

11 Et la colombe vint à lui au temps du soir, et voici, dans son bec, une feuille d’olivier arrachée. Et Noé sut que les eaux avaient baissé sur la terre.

And the doue came to hym agayne aboute eventyde and beholde: There was in hyr mouth a lefe of an olyve tre which she had plucked wherby Noe perceaved that the waters wer abated vppon the erth.

12 Et il attendit encore sept autres jours, et il lâcha la colombe, et elle ne revint plus de nouveau vers lui.

And he taried yet. vij. other dayes and sent forth the doue which from thence forth came no more agayne to him.

13 Et il arriva, l’an 601, au premier [mois], le premier [jour] du mois, que les eaux furent séchées de dessus la terre; et Noé ôta la couverture de l’arche et regarda, et voici, la face du sol avait séché.

And it came to passe the syxte hundred and one yere and the fyrst daye of the fyrst moneth that the waters were dryed vpp apon the erth. And Noe toke off the hatches of the arke and loked: And beholde the face of the erth was drye.

14 Et au second mois, le vingt-septième jour du mois, la terre fut sèche.

so by the. xxvij. daye of the seconde moneth the erth was drye.

15 Et Dieu parla à Noé, disant:

And God spake vnto Noe saynge:

16 Sors de l’arche, toi, et ta femme et tes fils et les femmes de tes fils avec toi.

come out of the arcke both thou and thy wyfe ad thy sonnes and thy sonnes wyues with the.

17 Fais sortir avec toi tout animal qui est avec toi, de toute chair, tant oiseaux que bétail, et tout reptile qui rampe sur la terre, et qu’ils foisonnent en la terre, et fructifient et multiplient sur la terre.

And all the beastes that are with the whatsoever flesh it be both foule and catell and all maner wormes that crepe on the erth brynge out with the and let them moue growe ad multiplye vppon the erth.

18 Et Noé sortit, et ses fils, et sa femme et les femmes de ses fils avec lui.

And Noe came out ad his sonnes and his wyfe and his sonnes wyues with hym.

19 Tout animal, tout reptile et tout oiseau, tout ce qui se meut sur la terre, selon leurs espèces, sortirent de l’arche.

And all the beastes and all the wormes and all the foules and all that moved vppon the erth came also out of the arke all of one kynde together.

20 Et Noé bâtit un autel à l’Éternel, et prit de toute bête pure et de tout oiseau pur, et offrit des holocaustes sur l’autel.

And Noe made an aulter vnto the LORDE and toke of all maner of clene beastes and all maner of clene foules and offred sacrifyce vppon the aulter.

21 Et l’Éternel flaira une odeur agréable; et l’Éternel dit en son cœur: Je ne maudirai plus de nouveau le sol à cause de l’homme, car l’imagination du cœur de l’homme est mauvaise dès sa jeunesse; et je ne frapperai plus de nouveau tout ce qui est vivant, comme je l’ai fait.

And the LORDE smellyd a swete savoure and sayd in his hert: I wyll henceforth no more curse the erth for mannes sake for the imagynacion of mannes hert is evell even from the very youth of hym. Morover I wyll not destroy from henceforth all that lyveth as I haue done.

22 Désormais, tant que seront les jours de la terre, les semailles et la moisson, et le froid et le chaud, et l’été et l’hiver, et le jour et la nuit, ne cesseront pas.

Nether shall sowynge tyme and harvest colde and hete somere and wynter daye and nyghte ceasse as longe as the erth endureth.
