Genèse 7
1 Et l’Éternel dit à Noé: Entre dans l’arche, toi et toute ta maison, car je t’ai vu juste devant moi en cette génération.
And the LORde sayd vnto Noe: goo in to the arcke both thou and all thy houssold. For the haue I sene rightuous before me in thys generacion.
2 De toutes les bêtes pures tu prendras sept par sept, le mâle et sa femelle, et des bêtes qui ne sont pas pures, deux, le mâle et sa femelle;
Of all clene beastes take vnto the. vij. of every kynde the male and hys female And of vnclene beastes a payre the male and hys female:
3 de même des oiseaux des cieux, sept par sept, mâle et femelle, pour conserver en vie une semence sur la face de toute la terre.
lykewyse of the byrdes of the ayre vij. of every kynde male and female to save seed vppon all the erth.
4 Car encore sept jours, et je fais pleuvoir sur la terre pendant 40 jours et 40 nuits, et j’exterminerai de dessus la face de la terre tout ce qui existe [et] que j’ai fait.
For. vij. dayes hence wyll I send rayne vppo the erth. xl. dayes and. xl. nyghtes and wyll dystroy all maner of thynges that I haue made from of the face of the erth.
5 Et Noé fit selon tout ce que l’Éternel lui avait commandé.
And Noe dyd acordynge to all yt the lorde comaunded hym:
6 Et Noé était âgé de 600 ans quand le déluge eut lieu [et qu’il vint] des eaux sur la terre.
and Noe was. vi. hundred yere olde when the floud of water came vppon the erth:
7 Et Noé entra dans l’arche, et ses fils et sa femme et les femmes de ses fils avec lui, à cause des eaux du déluge.
and Noe went and his sonnes and his wyfe and his sonnes wyves wyth hym in to the arke from the waters of the floud.
8 Des bêtes pures, et des bêtes qui ne sont pas pures, et des oiseaux, et de tout ce qui rampe sur le sol,
And of clene beastes and of beastes that ware vnclene and of byrdes and of all that crepeth vppo the erth
9 il en entra deux par deux vers Noé dans l’arche, mâle et femelle, comme Dieu l’avait commandé à Noé.
came in by cooples of every kynde vnto Noe in to the arke: a male and a female: even as God commaunded Noe.
10 Et il arriva, au bout de sept jours, que les eaux du déluge furent sur la terre.
And the seventh daye the waters of the floud came vppon the erth.
11 L’an 600 de la vie de Noé, au second mois, le dix-septième jour du mois, en ce jour-là, toutes les fontaines du grand abîme se rompirent et les écluses des cieux s’ouvrirent;
In the. vi. hundred yere of Noes lyfe in the secode moneth in the. xvij daye of the moneth yt same daye were all the founteynes of the grete depe broken vp and the wyndowes of heave were opened
12 et la pluie fut sur la terre 40 jours et 40 nuits.
ad there fell a rayne vpon the erth. xl. dayes and. xl. nyghtes.
13 En ce même jour-là, Noé, et Sem et Cham et Japheth, fils de Noé, et la femme de Noé, et les trois femmes de ses fils avec eux, entrèrent dans l’arche,
And the selfe same daye went Noe Sem Ham and Iapheth Noes sonnes and Noes wyfe and the. iij. wyues of his sonnes wyth them in to the arke:
14 eux, et tous les animaux selon leur espèce, et tout le bétail selon son espèce, et tous les reptiles qui rampent sur la terre selon leur espèce, et tous les oiseaux selon leur espèce, tout oiseau de toute aile;
both they and all maner of beastes in their kide and all maner of catell in their kynde and all maner of wormes that crepe vppon the erth in their kynde and all maner of byrdes in there kynde. and all maner off foules what soever had feders.
15 et ils entrèrent vers Noé dans l’arche, deux par deux, de toute chair ayant en elle esprit de vie.
And they came vnto Noe in to the arke by cooples of all flesh yt had breth of lyfe in it.
16 Et ce qui entra, entra mâle et femelle, de toute chair, comme Dieu le lui avait commandé. Et l’Éternel ferma [l’arche] sur lui.
And they that came came male ad female of every flesh acordige as God comaunded hym: and ye LORde shytt the dore vppo him
17 Et le déluge fut sur la terre 40 jours; et les eaux crûrent et soulevèrent l’arche, et elle fut élevée au-dessus de la terre.
And the floud came. xl. dayes and. xl. nyghtes vppon the erth and the water increased and bare vp the arcke ad it was lifte vp from of the erth
18 Et les eaux se renforcèrent et crûrent beaucoup sur la terre; et l’arche flottait sur la face des eaux.
And the water prevayled and increased exceadingly vppon the erth: and the arke went vppo he toppe of the waters.
19 Et les eaux se renforcèrent extraordinairement sur la terre; et toutes les hautes montagnes qui étaient sous tous les cieux furent couvertes.
And the waters prevayled excedingly above mesure vppo the erth so that all the hye hylles which are vnder all the partes of heaven were covered:
20 Les eaux se renforcèrent de 15 coudées par-dessus, et les montagnes furent couvertes.
eve. xv. cubytes hye prevayled the waters so that the hylles were covered.
21 Et toute chair qui se mouvait sur la terre expira, tant les oiseaux que le bétail et les bêtes [des champs] et tout ce qui fourmille sur la terre, et tout homme.
And all fleshe that moved on the erth bothe birdes catell and beastes perisshed with al that crepte on the erth and all men:
22 Tout ce qui avait le souffle de vie dans ses narines, de tout ce qui était sur la terre sèche, mourut.
so that all that had the breth of liffe in the nostrels of it thorow out all that was on drye lond dyed.
23 Et tout ce qui existait sur la face de la terre fut détruit, depuis l’homme jusqu’au bétail, jusqu’aux reptiles et jusqu’aux oiseaux des cieux: ils furent détruits de dessus la terre; et il ne resta que Noé et ce qui était avec lui dans l’arche.
Thus was destroyed all that was vppo the erth both man beastes wormes and foules of the ayre so that they were destroyed from the erth: save Noe was reserved only and they that were wyth hym in the arke.
24 Et les eaux se renforcèrent sur la terre, 150 jours.
And the waters prevayled vppon the erth an hundred and fyftye dayes.
