Genèse 5

1 C’est ici le livre des générations d’Adam. Au jour où Dieu créa Adam, il le fit à la ressemblance de Dieu.

This [is] [the] record of [the] descendants of Adam on [the] day created God humankind in [the] likeness of God he made him.

2 Il les créa mâle et femelle, et les bénit; et il appela leur nom Adam, au jour où ils furent créés.

Male and female he created them and he blessed them and he called name their humankind on [the] day were created they.

3 Et Adam vécut 130 ans, et engendra [un fils] à sa ressemblance, selon son image, et appela son nom Seth.

And he lived Adam thirty and one hundred year[s] and he became a father in own likeness his according to image his and he called name his Seth.

4 Et les jours d’Adam, après qu’il eut engendré Seth, furent 800 ans; et il engendra des fils et des filles.

And they were [the] days of Adam after fathered he Seth eight hundred year[s] and he fathered sons and daughters.

5 Et tous les jours qu’Adam vécut furent 930 ans; et il mourut.

And they were all [the] days of Adam which he lived nine hundred year[s] and thirty year[s] and he died.

6 Et Seth vécut 105 ans, et engendra Énosh.

And he lived Seth five years and one hundred year[s] and he fathered Enosh.

7 Et Seth, après qu’il eut engendré Énosh, vécut 807 ans; et il engendra des fils et des filles.

And he lived Seth after fathered he Enosh seven years and eight hundred year[s] and he fathered sons and daughters.

8 Et tous les jours de Seth furent 912 ans; et il mourut.

And they were all [the] days of Seth two [plus] ten year[s] and nine hundred year[s] and he died.

9 Et Énosh vécut 90 ans, et engendra Kénan.

And he lived Enosh ninety year[s] and he fathered Kenan.

10 Et Énosh, après qu’il eut engendré Kénan, vécut 815 ans; et il engendra des fils et des filles.

And he lived Enosh after fathered he Kenan fif-teen year[s] and eight hundred year[s] and he fathered sons and daughters.

11 Et tous les jours d’Énosh furent 905 ans; et il mourut.

And they were all [the] days of Enosh five years and nine hundred year[s] and he died.

12 Et Kénan vécut 70 ans, et engendra Mahalaleël.

And he lived Kenan seventy year[s] and he fathered Mahalalel.

13 Et Kénan, après qu’il eut engendré Mahalaleël, vécut 840 ans; et il engendra des fils et des filles.

And he lived Kenan after fathered he Mahalalel forty year[s] and eight hundred year[s] and he fathered sons and daughters.

14 Et tous les jours de Kénan furent 910 ans; et il mourut.

And they were all [the] days of Kenan ten years and nine hundred year[s] and he died.

15 Et Mahalaleël vécut 65 ans, et engendra Jéred.

And he lived Mahalalel five years and sixty year[s] and he fathered Jared.

16 Et Mahalaleël, après qu’il eut engendré Jéred, vécut 830 ans; et il engendra des fils et des filles.

And he lived Mahalalel after fathered he Jared thirty year[s] and eight hundred year[s] and he fathered sons and daughters.

17 Et tous les jours de Mahalaleël furent 895 ans; et il mourut.

And they were all [the] days of Mahalalel five and ninety year[s] and eight hundred year[s] and he died.

18 Et Jéred vécut 162 ans, et engendra Hénoc.

And he lived Jared two and sixty year[s] and one hundred year[s] and he fathered Enoch.

19 Et Jéred, après qu’il eut engendré Hénoc, vécut 800 ans; et il engendra des fils et des filles.

And he lived Jared after fathered he Enoch eight hundred year[s] and he fathered sons and daughters.

20 Et tous les jours de Jéred furent 962 ans; et il mourut.

And they were all [the] days of Jared two and sixty year[s] and nine hundred year[s] and he died.

21 Et Hénoc vécut 65 ans, et engendra Methushélah.

And he lived Enoch five and sixty year[s] and he fathered Methuselah.

22 Et Hénoc, après qu’il eut engendré Methushélah, marcha avec Dieu 300 ans; et il engendra des fils et des filles.

And he walked about Enoch with God after fathered he Methuselah three hundred year[s] and he fathered sons and daughters.

23 Et tous les jours de Hénoc furent 365 ans.

And it was all [the] days of Enoch five and sixty year[s] and three hundred year[s].

24 Et Hénoc marcha avec Dieu; et il ne fut plus, car Dieu le prit.

And he walked about Enoch with God and not [was] he for he took him God.

25 Et Methushélah vécut 187 ans, et engendra Lémec.

And he lived Methuselah seven and eighty year[s] and one hundred year[s] and he fathered Lamech.

26 Et Methushélah, après qu’il eut engendré Lémec, vécut 782 ans; et il engendra des fils et des filles.

And he lived Methuselah after fathered he Lamech two and eighty year[s] and seven hundred year[s] and he fathered sons and daughters.

27 Et tous les jours de Methushélah furent 969 ans; et il mourut.

And they were all [the] days of Methuselah nine and sixty year[s] and nine hundred year[s] and he died.

28 Et Lémec vécut 182 ans, et engendra un fils;

And he lived Lamech two and eighty year[s] and one hundred year[s] and he fathered a son.

29 et il appela son nom Noé, disant: Celui-ci nous consolera à l’égard de notre ouvrage et du travail de nos mains, à cause du sol que l’Éternel a maudit.

And he called name his Noah saying this [one] he will comfort us from work our and from [the] pain of hands our from the ground which he has cursed it Yahweh.

30 Et Lémec, après qu’il eut engendré Noé, vécut 595 ans; et il engendra des fils et des filles.

And he lived Lamech after fathered he Noah five and ninety year[s] and five hundred year[s] and he fathered sons and daughters.

31 Et tous les jours de Lémec furent 777 ans; et il mourut.

And it was all [the] days of Lamech seven and seventy year[s] and seven hundred year[s] and he died.

32 Et Noé était âgé de 500 ans, et Noé engendra Sem, Cham, et Japheth.

And he was Noah a son of five hundred year[s] and he fathered Noah Shem Ham and Japheth.
